Flash player is not installed on Firefox or Internet Explore...

I downloaded firefox as my web browser alternative. I play games and things of that type on my laptop, which is a Toshiba Satellite C655 (I'm sure it's ). My flash player works on Google Chrome, but not on Internet Explorer or FireFox. Any help? I downloaded it (or so he says) 4 times since Sunday night, but whenever I go to play the game, the game says I have to install adobe flashplayer. It's several games, so it's not the game.

If the regular installer does not work, try the Installer "complete". It is available on this page:

  • Says that Flash Player is not installed

I installed the latest version of flash player several times and it keeps telling me that flash player is not installed.  I went through all of the troubleshooting and I can't understand why this is happening.  Is happening here?

What you see is the result of this:

    "User-Agent Strings.

Doesn't mean a lot, I'm sure, but it is the root of your problems, and Flash Player has nothing to do with it.

Microsoft 'rewritten' User-Agent strings for the abomination they call their latest and greatest browser (learn more).

User Agent strings are what sites Web allows to identify the browser you use and provides content for its browser engine, as ActiveX stuff and video Flash or HTML5.

Thanks to geniuses in Redmond, WA, strings of User-Agent for IE11 (which has a Trident engine), ID like "Gecko" (Firefox) or "Webkit" (Chrome).

The problem is: when the site dictates the content of one of these two engines, the engine Trident in Internet Explorer cannot interpret this site then sees IE as a browser 'unidentified '.

The problem with a browser not identified is that plug-ins in this browser are not recognized either, so even if you are up-to-date, he said: you need the latest version of Flash Player when you use IE11.

YouTube... has converted to HTML5 video, so if it doesn't detect Flash Player, it can display HTML5 video (MP4) which requires no plug-in to play.

Facebook cannot do, because HTML5 does not apply to... video games only.

Microsoft does not plan to "fix" the mess that they created because they think it's a good idea to block you on Web sites that visit you.

They recommend using 'compatibility view' and pretend that you are using an older version of IE...

The problem with THIS is that it has had limited success, and you must enable it for EVERY page that has problems... individually.

I'm not big on "pretend" so I recommend you to use another browser.

    Firefox (from Mozilla)

    Opera (from opera)

    Safari (from Apple)

    Chrome (from Google)

NO one who will work where IE11 won't, with the Flash Player plug-in (for all other browsers), and chromium has not even need that, because he has his own plugin Flash Player built in.

  • Adobe Flash Player will not install.

I tried several times to install the latest version of Adobe Flash Player, but it WON'T install.  It downloads fine, but when you click on install, load the Adobe's Installation file (window), but that he was doing the lock of my computer.  Why?  I had 13. What is installed and it has worked well, but kept getting a message that I needed to update the flash player, but the computer will not be installed.  He installed the other updates very well, so what gives.  When you try to install, the window is displayed, but does not install and the computer crashes.  I DO not close the Explorer window and even updated my IE from 10 to 11.  Still will not install.

Another problem I have is that the ANT downloader will not work either.  I click on it to download a file will not download YouTube downloader, but when you try to use it, it says that it is disabled.  Yet, when you go to "Manage Add on", and clicking it, it shows the Ant.com downloader is indeed enabled, but it will not work too.  They are linked, or do I have to have two separate problems?

  • Flash player does not work on firefox

When I went to play Boggle Bash or Mahjong Garden on POGO.com yesterday, 24/02/2015, a pop up came and said that my flash player is outdated. After update 3 times, I still can't play my flash games on POGO using the Firefox browser. The same pop-up window appears indicating that my flash drive needs to be updated. I checked the current version, and it's the last one, 16.0.0.305 for Firefox and Windows 7. Why this update is not recognized? I went through the list of Adobe problems without success. I am able to play using the Chrome browser. The people at Adobe told me to use Chrome to my games. I don't like Chrome and want to use my Firefox for my game.
I read the previous Help topic that was submitted before by taylormade, on 24-11-14 15:55. I used the same link you posted in response to James Top 25 contributor moderator 619 solutions 4632 responses posted on 24-11-14 23:57, and it does not help.
What should I do to get my games work again on Firefox? I think it's a disservice to Firefox which people Adobe is to tell people to use Chrome instead, because there are fewer problems with it that something needs to be fixed using Firefox.

Adobe Flash tends to not update properly all the time or for users, and their uninstall program may be necessary to clean all the Adobe Flash files that are "hanging out."

First of all, take the uninstaller Adobe from here:
    http://helpx.Adobe.com/Flash-Player/KB/uninstall-Flash-Player-Windows.html

Then download the latest version of the Flash Plugin here:
Select Browser Plugin - the EXE version.
    https://www.Adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html

Run the Flash uninstall program, and then restart your PC.
Then, install the Flash Plugin. So you have a new installation of Flash for Firefox.

You will also need to reinstall the ActiveX for IE version.

  • Flash player does not install

I cannot download and install the latest version of adobe flash player on my laptop that contains internet explore 10 and windows 7... I get an error message to close internet explore and I do this (as well as some other suspicious programs) with the kind permission of the Task Manager. I seem to be doing the work, but when I look for the flash player, it isn't here... Help! .... FXK.      I also followed the advice of downloading and installing Active X on the mentioned website and I followed the instructions accordingly. The installation appears to be over, but it is still not on my computer. Help!         When I say that it is "still not on my computer' I mean that there is no sign anywhere on the hard drive (no icons, no words, nothing) and when I go to a site that requires the use of Adobe Flash player, I am told to download it and install it. I already did it.                                                                                                                                  Frank

You won't see Flash Player in the programs or documents or any where because it is a "plugin" for Firefox (or IE) and NOT a program.

Download the Adobe Flash Player installer directly by clicking on the following link: Flash Player ActiveX (Internet Explorer) and select "save target as."

Save it in your file downloads - DO NOT run again.

    Reboot your system.

Before opening anything else, go to your Downloads folder and launch the installer.

If IE still gives you trouble, see: Activation Flash Player in Internet Explorer and ActiveX in Internet Explorer filtering to make sure it's enabled and ActiveX is not blocking the content.
