Flash Player not working not not in Explorer

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate and Internet Explorer 11

In summary, I only started to have problems after that application the latest Microsoft security updates earlier this week. Suddenly, when I try to view one of my normal videos in Explorer solutions, pages of news, facebook, etc. it is a banner saying "SORRY, you need to install Flashplayer, I check my modules and it says Flash Player already installed and activated. Yet the troubleshooting/help adobe tool is no Flash Player installed. I even once properly installed Flashplayer, rebooted and still get the same messages and results. I installed once more to make sure it wasn't a fluke and causes the same, went again after the reboot.

The problem occurs in Explorer, Chrome and Firefox both work very well.

Hello

Please check that the ActiveX filtering is disabled (see filtering ActiveX in Internet Explorer).  If it is disabled and the issue only began to occur after you apply Microsoft updates, and then it updates is the culprit.  I uninstall all updates installed this week and then install each one individually until you can reproduce the error to identify what Microsoft update is the culprit.

I uninstalled and downloaded the most recent Flash Player in Internet Explorer (Vista) tons of time, but sites like Hulu and YouTube do not recognize that I have the latest version and it will not play. They just keep inviting me to download the latest version.

However, when I installed the new Flash player in Safari it works fine.

I'm sure in IE, I had this virus AV8 but a scan with Malwarebytes caught and says it has been deleted. How can I get Flash Player to work again in IE?

Hi, you can follow the news on this thread who has had the same thing. See Post #5 and the rest of the posts.

    This person also had Vista.

Happy that you used the MMFA, great program!

Also you didn't mention it, but some people are using the system restore which should not be done. It does not remove a Virus.

I hope it works for you,

First of all, try to enable Active Scripting in the areas of Sites Internet Options, security settings, trust.

You should also add a corrupted on.

    Click Start, type: Internet Options

    Press enter

    Select the "Advanced" tab

Under reset Internet Explorer settings, click "reset".

This should restore the Internet Explorer default settings.

  • Flash Player not working not not on a 64-bit internet explore

I can't see the web vedios

flashplyer is not downloading in windows 7, 64-bit vertion

    Hello living musicman,.

The Flash Player does not support a 64-bit Internet Explorer. However, it works on IE 32 bit running on a 64-bit operating system.

To run Flash Player on a 64-bit system, you must use a 32-bit browser.

You can see the below section of the Adobe website for more information:

    http://kb2.Adobe.com/CPS/000/6b3af6c9.html

You can access Internet Explorer 32-bit. The executable file for IE8 32 bit is in the location:

    C:\Program Files (x 86) \Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe

Open 32 bit internet explore and check if you have the same problem.

  • 12 Firefox flash player not working not not with Facebook video

Use Firefox 12, more recent flash player 32-bit - embedded video does not work on Facebook. I tried another computer with XP SP3, completely deleted firefox, flash, started in safe mode with Add ons disabled, even created a new profile with no addons in all and nothing seems to fix the problem. Video plays well in Internet Explorer. That said, YouTube works fine so I don't think it's a problem flash "only". (I have a right click on the video to make sure that the flash was to play the video and not html 5)

Starting from 07/06/12 @ 07:55 Eastern video works. It's funny, 15 minutes ago he was not! That said, I am now using Firefox 13 but the problem with Facebook's video seems to be intermittent and is therefore probably at their end.

  • Flash Player not working not not on any browser. (Video keep loading forever)

    Hi all!

I've had problems with my Flash drive for about a week now and I can't seem to find a solution that works.

I don't know when was the last update, but I assume that could have caused my problems somehow. He used to work correctly before.

I now have the Adobe Flash Player version 16.0.0.235

The browser I use is: Google Chrome.
    I use Windows x 64 8.

I also tried Firefox and Internet Explorer to see if I can watch video is here, but they don't work there either. The video just keep loading no matter what I do.

Oddly today a video has suddenly started playing herself after... a 5 minutes. But when I tried to watch other videos after this happens, it doesn't seem to work.
The first day I installed Firefox I could watch without any problems, as well the video. But after that, it does more either. He worked for a single day.

YouTube video work of properly, however. Then make Facebook games, GIF and others.

I can only watch on other video sites. (For example: AnimeHaven) My friends have no problems watching these videos.

I have no idea what could be the cause of these problems and I hope someone can help me solve this problem.

I tried everything I could find on the internet so far.

Yes, it is probably not a driver thing.  If you don't have not already restarted it, certainly do.  Perhaps is that graphics hardware is in poor condition.

The last thing we delivered was December 9, so he didn't like Flash Player changed.  If these symptoms just started recently, it seems unlikely that a recent change in Flash is the cause.  It is possible that Chrome could have pushed a change since then, but I talked to guys Chrome yesterday and they have said nothing about a problem of widespread video playback.  They have really excellent telemetry, so that they usually quite quickly when things break.

Maybe it's your installation of Chrome is somewhat damaged, and you could do a complete uninstall/reinstall of Chrome to see if the problem goes away.  Alternatively, you can disable hardware acceleration in Chrome itself (it is under preferences > advanced > system > use hardware acceleration if it is available) to see if that helps.

Is isolated in a video or video sites/site?  In Internet Explorer or Firefox (they are both significantly different copies of Flash Player, which would be an interesting data point)?

    --

First of all, check that the ActiveX filtering is configured to allow Flash content:

    https://forums.Adobe.com/thread/867968

Internet Explorer 11 introduced a number of changes both in the way the browser is identified with remote web servers, and how it treats JavaScript for behavior targets specific to Internet Explorer. Unfortunately, this means that content on some sites will be broken until the provider of content changes their site to conform to the new approach to development required by the modern versions of IE.

You can try to work around these problems by using the compatibility view:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Internet-Explorer/use-compatibility-view#IE=ie-11

If it's too inconvenient, using Google Chrome may be a better alternative.

  • Flash player not working not properly on firefox for windows 10 installation

I recently installed 10 windows on my PC and just discovered that I can't watch anything on firefox with the flash player plugin, it does not crash but instead of a video, the screen is just green but it is solid, and when he tries with other browsers, it works fine. I have attached an image in order to highlight this...

The green screen is an old problem with the Flash plugin. To work around the problem, you can disable the plugin to use hardware acceleration:

On a site with Flash, right-click the media and select settings, then the first mini tab and uncheck the box to use hardware acceleration.

Is what helps in Windows 10?

Moreover, the details of your Question > System Details more shows two versions of Flash and the 18.x 15.x. To locate and remove the old version, you can type or paste topic: plugins in the address bar, and then use search (Ctrl + f) to search for NPSWF and find the physical location of the old file of the DLL. Usually, it is safe to remove, but if you're nervous, renaming with a. Extension of OLD must hide from Firefox.

  • Adobe flash player not working after virus removal

My computer has the AVGantivivirus2011. I removed it by order of bleepingcomputer.com everything works very well and seems to be the free virus except my flash drive does not work. I uninstalled it, reinstalled, restarted, etc.  When I try to access a program requiring flash player it says that I need the updated version. I've went to the Adobe site and downloaded. It is said that it is loaded successfully. I reboot and then the program says the same thing. I'm not a computer expert, but (I think) Im a pretty smart person and can follow directions (if in plain English) LOL any help/advice would be so appreciated. I am very frustrated! ;-) Have a great day!
