• Site does not load unless I type "index.html" after the address

  My site does not load if I type the address simple btca.com.  I have TO type btca.com/index.html for the site to load.  It worked before, but since I've updated Muse, is no longer working.  Anyone know how I can fix this problem?  Thanks for any help!

  Well, it's interesting.  I updated Muse to the latest version, then downloaded the entire site, and now it seems to work.  I deleted the browser cache to make sure it wasn't a cached page I saw.  This done in Firefox, Safari and Chrome and it seems to work for the moment.

  It drives me crazy... I have a simple code that works if it is placed on the internet / run with flash player, same load crossdomain policy file therefore is ok, but whenever I am coding in Flash CS4, it does not load my XML file. Also tried to change the publication options with (local / network files only) but nothing helps. CS4 only charge my localhost server.

  Well I finally found the problem is not on my computer, but the host of the site. He had a certain parameters "mod_security" that prevented the loading of the xml for Flash programming environment.

  So I guess that someone with that WO is going bonkers this same problem should contact their site administrator to ask questions on these parameters.

  A particular website does not load, and I was previously able to view this site about 2 weeks ago. It's a free WordPress site/blog.

  I keep getting the error message "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading." I've tried deleting all cookies and emptying the cache with no success. I also tried a "DNS Flusher" with the same result.
  

  I followed all the recommendations on the link using Firefox and checked the FAQ and community sections with no luck.

  I can view the page in Safari. The owner of the website can view this website using a configuration similar to mine (Mac OS 10.5, Firefox 12.0).

  Nothing I know have changed since I was able to view this site 2 weeks ago for example, I'm not going through a proxy server, nor do I have any secondary security or anti-virus running.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  Most every day I connect to Schwab.com. From a week ago, the login page does not load. I get only a blank page. It works if I clear the cookies from schwab. So does not work the next time.   My Firefox is just there is an update and the problem with the Schwab page disappeared. I think that all changed two updates there was amended to take account of the situation.
