  I did all the steps in this entire thread and no solution (good ideas, but no solution).   It is the latest version.  I used the uninstall tool and did a reinstall of fees. I did not remove all directories of the old layout, so that could be the next, but I feel like I'm grabbing at straws here.

  Installation of firefox is also the last version.  I'm on Windows 7 x 64. Dual Xeons.

  I see the flash control panel says (32-bit), which seems odd.

  I read where he said to try disabling hardware acceleration, but I don't have such a setting in my PC, and I can't get the flash player to work long enough to use the old settings panel.

  The installer people confirmed that it removed only the generation that it has been updated since then, which should have been NPSWF32_11_7_700_178.dll.  You can remove NPSWF32_11_7_700_170.dll safely.

  You should be able to verify that the installer deleted NPSWF32_11_7_700_178.dll when 11.7.700.182 and NPSWF32_11_7_700_182.dll is NOT marked read-only.

  This continues a question Nov 16 initially answered by SureshI and then merged by SyedV on November 26. I followed the steps all the recommended and the problem persists. Reminder, the warning does not appear in safe mode, but it does after the running File Checker, and it does after a clean boot. I don't know what you think it should tell me.

  In the event viewer I determined that 2 system errors are occurring at the time of the application in pop - up (i.e. the warning), one of them exactly at the same time. They had to do with services that have not started. I disabled these services, no effect on the appearance of the warning. Background on the application in pop information - up suggests that it may have to with a driver that is not available. I did a driver scan and see nothing that would cause the message.

  I noticed that two application errors also occur at startup, but these come about five minutes after the application pop up, so I guess they aren't relevant.

  Problem is now solved. The point of the error of HP Cue device detection was the key. The deactivation of the service did not help, but uninstall ALL HP software that I could find (and HP's pushy!) and then reinstalling the popup eliminated printing software.

I'm 99% sure that it is a matter of police. I installed approximately 4500 fonts a week ago and now it hangs everywhere.   If the problem started to occur after installing the fonts, it seems that the fonts are the problem, which is not something that Photoshop can do necessarily something on.
