The file contained a virus and was deleted
Hello
I get the message
the file contained a virus and was deleted
This occurs in Internet Explorer, chrome, and Firefox (in Firefox I fixed it by going to about: Config), it started with the virus antivirus system care, which I removed, I did tests, which does not.
Disable the warning?
Thank you
I did all the steps in this entire thread and no solution (good ideas, but no solution). I believe that this error message "the file contains a virus' on all downloads came from a virus on a web page (this is what I saw in my case). When IE downloads a file, it shows he has a virus, but it's really not analyzed. I got this message even after I've completely removed McAfee and after I reinstalled completely IE10. It's a redirect using the points of analysis that the virus must have created. To resolve this problem, I went to C:\ and made a random generator DIR command He showed c:\program files\windows defender had these reparse points. When I looked for download the latest Windows Defender, says MSFT site is no longer used on Windows 7 64 bit so I deleted the subdirectory 'C:\program files\Windows Defender' and all of its subfolders and restarted. Problem disappeared. McAfee and MSFT Security Essentials scans do not have that automatically remove. Hope that helps.

You have requested the assistance of your provider of anti-malware software (Avast, AVG, Avira, Norton, McAfee, Trend Micro, etc.)?
Your PC is probably infected with the new variant of Sirefef AKA Zero access. One of the symptoms is that all downloads are identified as a virus...

Suggest you use HitmanPro Kickstart, which should remove this malware and fix changes made to the computer by the malware: http://www.surfright.nl/en/kickstart , you must use an uninfected computer to download it to a flash drive and then follow the specific directions on how to run the program on the infected computer. Hitman Pro Kickstart is available as a 30 day trial version.
For more information, see http://dl.surfright.nl/Kickstart-FAQ.pdf and http://dl.surfright.nl/Kickstart-User-Manual.pdf
If Hitman Pro Kickstart will not eliminate your problem, you may need to perform one or more of the following scanners in offline mode - you will need to burn a CD using another computer and change the sequence of starting your computer to run the scan - instructions are provided with the links:

Can not install the printer due to the error this file contained a virus
I am running Windows Vista 64-bit and trying to install a HP Photosmart 3210xi printer. I get an error "AIO_CDB_Full_Network_enu_NB_exe" contained a virus and was deleted. Under Security Essentials, there is no virus and I need a way to solve this problem. Not an advanced computer user, so I need some basic answers I can fix myself. Thank you.
You are installing from an installation CD?
There is a download of HP support
Downloads of software & driver - all-in-one printer, HP Photosmart 3210xi
http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?OS=2093&LC=en&cc=us&DLC=en&sw_lang=&product=447851#n195The file download is simillar to the error you receive. You need to download only on manufacturer support site.
Or you can try Vista for HP Photosmart 3200 series driver:
Go to control panel of configuration, printers, double-click Add printer, choose a local or network printer click Next, choose a printer port click Next in the Add Printer window, under manufacturer select HP, under printers down scroll and select HP Photosmart 3200 series. Continue with the installation and follow the instructions.

Hello Mro63
If you have another computer, download Kaspersky Rescue Disk burn that to a CD and boot your system with. The update of the virus database, then ask him to perform an analysis full.
If you do not have another computer, see if you can download and burn on a disc at a friend's House. Bring this record label, and then start your system with it.

"The backup file contains unrecognized data and cannot be used.
Original title: - what are MS provides a BKF recovery tool? "The backup file contains unrecognized data and cannot be used.
I'm trying to restore BKF files created by NTBackup.exe after the crash of a hard drive running XP Pro. The new hard drive is the same brand (WD) goes into the same computer Dell Inspiron and the same OS. No catalog file is available and trying to recreate the NTBackup recovery gives an error message. No catalog cannot be created for many, but not all of my backup BKF files.
I do not consider the solution of SysTools $89 for a large part of the answer. This problem is not uncommon and I hope MS has or can tell me a free tool to allow me to restore from any of my BKF.
Thank you.

I have no information other than what is on the web page.

The night last Norton marked an email with a virus. When I clicked "fix" to quarantine the virus that I got a warning that the file is too big and once quarantined can not be recovered. I thought that this meant the infected file attached to the email. It turns out it was my entire Inbox. Now I can't access one of the old messages. They come in white. Also on the hard drive there is a file "Inbox", but not "Inbox." Is it possible to recover the lost Inbox? Thank you very much.
Your script is not responding is also probably Norton. Personally, I don't think that anti virus programs must be trawl through and digitization of data files of Thunderbird and suggest that the profile folder are excluded on the analysis of access or by analyzing all the.
When your mail arrives at Norton scans it, why do need to repeat this process over and over again? Well, my experience is finding that they just installed a definition for the virus you received weeks. It has done nothing to your system when he got Thunderbird to sanitize HTML, prevents the scripts and Flash. Now, they need rip the wire to. Like having a gun under your bed, never to hurt anyone or anything unless somebody consciously do something with it.

original title: problem pop up safety box
A couple of months, my daughter opened a video on utube. The screen on my laptop turned blue with white writing and the volume went crazy. Had to hold the close button. Since then, whenever I open a page, a security box appears telling me the page contains elements safe and secure, that I want to display the non secure items? I used for the display of this box on occasion, now it is on each page. I ran windows security and norton scans and both find nothing. Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem, because it drives me crazy. Thanks in advance
Hello Michelle,.
You have a virus, here's what you need to do. Download and install malwarebytes of: http://malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free, be sure to update before running a full scan. If you cannot run the program at all, you will need to download a few programs of this site: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix it, you should get back on track.
Also, you may have a browser redirection problem. Go to your IE tools--> internet options--> Connections tab, then click lan setting and make sure that the only box to checked in it is automatically detect settings.
Let me know if it works,
Jim
