• "Clear recent items list" is no longer an option in the start menu

  I have re-installed Windows Vista Business, all installed updates, and then installed Windows Security Essentials, then ParetoLogic PC Health Advisor.

  After you have installed the last two programs mentioned, I then noticed that the 'clear recent items list' is no longer an option in the start menu when I right click on the recent items. I have this problem once or twice using the restoration of the system, but after that I installed Adobe Reader X option disappeared permanently in the start menu. When I right click on the recent items on the start menu I get the following

  Im running APEX 4.2.4... Ive just crossed to March and updated the application to issue 25. Ive also successfully installed the CSS drop according to the tutorial from Scott... Everything works great and I got to rebuild the application to use with theme 25...

  However, Ive suddenly found that when I get a message error or process jump towards the top of the page as a result of insert/update, or a validation error. , the drop down menu is always on... (i.e. the message box and the content behind the menu..)

  Ive tried to change the regions to my menu list, without success. I guess only he the some CSS is not quite right.

  Ill download a trial on the site, but is anyone using this and hit the same error...?

  I played with s:ComboBox and generally like them a lot. A detail is driving me crazy if is - most likely due to my lack of knowledge in this matter - that if I try to add a new item to my dataprovider in a changeHandler (recorded for the change event) the text for the ComboBox, textInput disappears - while adding item works perfectly. Interestingly enough the same operation works very well if it is called by clicking on a button, that is after the change event has been processed and the text does not disappear.   try to add a new item and press ENTER. Taking the same code of myCB_changeHandler and to use it as a button click event instead of a change event handler gives the behavior that I'm looking, i.e. the new element appears in the field of textInput CB and when clicking on the button added to the data provider while does not disappear from the textInput. Is there a way to accomplish this same behavior in the change event handler?

• New to Flex, Help! MX:list allowMultipleSelection, returning [object Object]

  I am very new to Flex so talk slowly :). I also know that I have committed all sorts of odd coding Flex.
  I have a mx:list that I am filling with a dataprovider remotely. When choosing more than one point and I move to coldfusion or simply to show the selected item in a textinput, I get [object Object] [object Object]. I use event.currentTarget.selectedItems and have tried variations 1 million. I just need to get the data of the selected item in a list with commas to pass on the CF server. The code is attached.

  There are a few unknowns here, but maybe you could try the code below. Assuming that you want to pass a specific key in your object, such as myKey in what follows:

  .... [{myKey: "Item 1", anotherKey:true}, {myKey: "Item 2", anotherKey:false}, {myKey: "Item 3", anotherKey:true}]...

  Note that the order in which you select the elements in the list determines their order in the table. If you could do a sort, or if you can't count on that, you can manually keep track of the order of selection.

  Whenever I changed or open a new tab in Firefox 3.5 tab remember all the pages that were visited in this tab and show a drop-down list when I click on the small arrow next to the forward/back buttons.

  When I switched tabs the dropdown would show the pages that I used to get to the page in the second tab.
  

  Now all tabs have their history lumped together in 1 place and I have no idea how I got to many of the places I find.
  

  Make a right click the back or next button, and then select the page you want.

• Chinese search program in my startup items list + weird symbols. Someone tell me what they are?

  I'm running Windows XP in a machine virtual parallels. I ran msconfig and found strange items in my startup items.

  It looks like Chinese script (sort of) or a language unknown to symbol. I unchecked in the startup list and reboot I got the message (resembling a key symbol) is not found. Again I ran msconfig and recheckedthe points. Upon restarting, I got an error not found a (followed by a black solid circle) as a list bullet

  I returned to a previous snapshot and it's still there. I post a .gif image if possible. Does anyone have an idea what this kind of thing? It is part of the virtual machine programs?

• How to value list dropdown ling to another field

  I have a drop down menu which has a few hundred medical descriptions common and in the link I have manuals values defined for each which is the resulting medical code. For simplicity, the drop-down list will be:

  N/A

  One

  Two

  Three

  and the value of relationships:

  Value	Item
  0	N/A
  A1	One
  A2	Two
  B1	Three

  After the drop-down list is a text field labled medical Code.

  I need two things. If a medical code is entered the appropriate description is selected. If a description is selected the medical code is already filled.

  If I get you correctly, then it is possible by giving the same name to the textfield and drop-down list. Then select one of them and in the object > range of defined binding binding to Global.

  In your case, it is easier.

  I have a form that contains a ROOM_REF field that is a list item and a ROOM_DESC field that is a text element. (among other things).
  
  When the user selects in the ROOM_REF area (which is populated by a group of archives at the start),
  I want it to automatically fill in the ROOM_DESC field with data (read-only).
  
  What type of trigger that I use and with what code?
