• Foglight alarms automatically erase themselves?

  Hello

  I'm new to Foglight and I have a general question.

  Foglight alarms disappear automatically themselves once a problem is solved?

  For example, if I get an alarm saying that the memory usage is high on a server and I'm going in and kill a process on this server to lower it, will get deleted automatically alarm or do I still go and delete it?

  Please let me know.

  Multi-gravite rules generate alerts that will be automatically clear if the State goes away and the State of gravity goes back to normal. Also, the severities change automatically if an alarm has reached another gravity as an alarm becoming a fatal alarm.

  Simple rules such as the rules for the LogFilter agent will not automatically clear.

  Hi newsgirl,.

  Somewhere at the top of the laptop keyboard is a key that says Num Lock (or Num Lk or something like that).  It can be accessed directly, or you may need to press a key to access (or some other keys).  In any case, you must click this to turn off the number lock because it is what causes the problem.  This key is usually used on laptops to create a section of a regular keyboard that can act as the normal keyboard calculator keypad (for those who need that, like accountants or persons who need to enter strings of numbers).  Once you turn it off, you will be fine as the keyboard returns to normal.

• I have upgraded to vista 64-bit for windows 7 64-bit and all the photo files have http://www.jikos.cz/~Mikulas/links/screenshots/jpg.html extension and will not open.

  I changed just jpg extension and tried to open in Photo Viewer, but he says that he has no support for this file. Any thoughts of a solution?

  I suggest that you try to open the same pictures using Windows photo manager and see if that helps.

  Right-click on a jpeg photo and try open Manager of picture Windows or Windows live photo gallery.

  Keep us updated with the results once you try the steps above.

  Any idea on how I can determine how the SQL cartidge pulls this inforamtion? Network management team, State of DBA and Windows Guy there is no problem. Are there any SQL query or perfmon I should look?

  Foglight cartridge for SQL Server generated an alarm for example on the SRWSQL1 host. POSNETPROD.COM.

  Alarm:	DBSS - SQL Packages error rate (Group message: network)
  Severity:	Warning
  Message:	The instance of SQL Server is 1,00 errors in packets per second.
  Created the:	Kill Mar 27 22:12:13 UTC 2012

  The metric is a Global Variable, SQL Server, and can be captured in the database instance by running the following command in SQL Server:

  SELECT @PACKET_ERRORS

  The returned value is cumulative since the last SQL Server restart, so Foglight performs a delta to indicate errors in packets since the previous collection.  Here's an MSDN article that explains the variable.

• Alarms have no sound on my iPad Pro for iOS 9.3

  I use a little timers to remind me when I do the tea. Since 9.3, however, they are not a noise, Siri, with reminders app or the clock app.

  The system volume is enough all the way, and my iPad Pro is powered.

  I can open clock, set a timer for 2 min the sound up and 'Presto' under the timer. It counts down, but when it's done, there is no noise or the notification if the application is in the foreground or stayed at another same app that happens if I set an alarm.

  In settings, I checked do not disturb is turned off. I also checked the status bar at the bottom of the screen, and the Moon do not disturb is not on.

  I checked the parameters of Notifications, and badges, sounds and alerts are enabled for reminders. There is no notification of the application of the clock setting.

  In sound settings, I checked the ringer and alerts sound slider is turned upward. I have sounds attached to each of the options sounds. Sounds of lock and click on keyboard are turned on, and they work.

  I tried to turn off my iPad Pro, wait a few minutes, then turning back, but still no sound from the alarm.

  See if your "do not disturb" setting is enabled. If you see a moon in your upper right corner, it's on. Turn it off through your bar of tasks or in the settings in the main menu on the left.

  Please advice on these alarms that we receive "service is unavailable" agent netmonitor

  that more often than not is not true. When you browse our alarms, that's what we find

  

  These screenshots show the alarms generated by the agent of LogFilter, which monitors the server.log to find errors.

  This is different from a message like "service is unavailable" to an alarm of agent NetMonitor, that ping one set of devices and you alerts if a target device is not available, or if there is packet loss on the network.

  Does anyone know where the BackURL gets configured in OAM 10 g for the URL where first set (redirectforCAC) questions and answers of security because it is not in the strategy of password screen where you set up the other URLS?
  
  It does not work for me when we have https as once you answered the security questions the backURL is http://host/resource, not https://host/resource if the redirection fails.
  
  My setup is an F5 that end SSL and then Apache proxy reverse to a protected resource.

• ACS 5.2 install VMware - no management via https

  I installed ACS 5.2 on VMware. Everything seemed to install correctly.

  I can access the server by SSH via network. The server however

  doesn´t seem to have https mangagment open.

  For example see the ports give single port 22 (ssh)

  and 111 for udp and tcp.

  I restarted everything. But charge it on the CLI and

  turn on/off the VMware host but no luck.

  I see people haven´t I have this problem but I've seen all the answers yet.

  If you have an ACS 5.x installed with 60 GB HARD drive, then you should use it with a license evaluation and on a lab environment. That is right. The requirements I've included are intended for a Production ACS 5.x server.

  In addition, ACS 5.1 and 5.2 do not include support on ESXi 4.1. 5.3 GBA includes support on ESXi 4.1 but ACS 5.1 and 5.2 until ESX 4.0.
