• Foglight for virtualization Enterprise Edition 7.1

  What is the best way to get a retailer report: IOPS / s used by VM on a daily/weekly/monthly basis. I use Foglight virtualization 7.1 Enterprise Edition. That's what I got from Dell Support to respond to my request:

  "We have studied this and found that the solution is not available out of the box, this measure has been part of the vBundle-1 cartridge as described in Knowledge Article 89492  Unfortunately, we were able to determine that this feature was not added in vFog 7.1 actually cartridge vBundle-1 no longer works with vFog version 7.1.   Is anyone have a work around for this problem.

• Foglight for virtualization 7.0 Standard Edition Compatiibility problems with vSphere 5.5

  Hello

  I couldn't understand how just after to the Foglight for virtualization forum, so I apologize for this post being in the wrong place.

  I have the Foglight 7.0 Standard edition and I'm unable to see virtual machines on the hosts of a new vCenter Instance I added to Foglight.

  I have enough licenses and the hosts appear in the inventory, but if you hover over one of the new hosts attribute 'State' reads "Not responding" and appear any of the virtual machines in the cluster.

  Any ideas as to what could go wrong or what I would have been able to hurt?

• Foglight for monitoring EMC DMX storage

  The EMC DMX is not listed as a device in charge which can be monitored through Foglight. Has anyone successfully been able to use Foglight to monitor one of these devices and is there by any chance any type of documentation or guide that may give a glimpse of how it has been implemented?  Thanks in advance!

  The DMX product range seems to be gradually eliminated by EMC. Foglight for storage management does not officially support any of them, but they are sufficiently similar to CLARiiON and berries VNX from our point of view, you have the chance to their follow-up as well. We cannot provide support for this however.

  If you do not want to try, there is one thing that you should pay attention to: you must have version 4.6.2.3 or SMI-S Provider EMC 4.6.2.9 (inspired Enabler 7.6.2.26 Solution https://community.emc.com/docs/DOC-19629) installed. Later versions do not appear to support collection DMX arrays to all SMI-S.

  Oracle E - Business Suite Release 12.2 requires Oracle Database Enterprise Edition. No other editions are supported.

  My opinion on this if my FMS is the server has my database SQL Server FMS is on server b, then I need to remove (i.e. move) the file of the existing database on ServerB to update my installation.

  Is this correct?

  We are not ready to deploy yet, but this seems to be a very basic fault, as I understand it.  Can anyone confirm this?

  It would be if you install the new version on a different host AND eager to deploy a new database on the existing database server.

  Also, note that ASM is delivered with the grid Infrastructure. It is no longer included with the database server software.

  I don't want the drivers.  I mean the software.  The drivers you get from the page server 2003 and the software from the page I referenced.   Otherwise, you need to contact HP, as they provide that software, not Microsoft.

  It doesn't support HP fiber switches, but it supports without Compellent.  The latest version adds support for physical systems related to the storage, General corrections and some new elements of the user interface.
