Folder of My Documents of security properties show 'Total control', but the properties of all the files and the files that it contains are 'read only '.

"Properties > tab security for My Documents and my pictures show that home users of the system, my own account and administrators (I'm also administrator) have full control ' (with all the boxes"Allow".  But the properties of each individual in My Documents and my pictures folder and all files in those, show 'Read only', and all the ticks in the Security tab are grayed out for all users or groups names.

I cannot understand the explanation in the section using the Access command ('Object Types', 'Object name' etc) when I try to change this tab for a file or folder. Help, please!

The security settings for the my document and other folders in the library will have complete control and the tick mark you are talking about will be by default on all Windows 7 computers. Some folders inside of it will be in read-only by default. You can remove by box to uncheck Read-only in the properties of the folder.

    Windows Defender is the base defense that is provided with Windows. This is where if you have the defense long enough to get a real anti-virus program. If nothing else you should get Microsoft Security Essentials for free here:

    It will offer a lot more security than the Defender.

    I also recommend getting (also free) malwarebytes from www.malwarebytes.org who is a good anti-malware for the MSE scanner may not be able to find little things.

    I understand that you do not see the correct icon when your MacBook Pro is fully charged. I would look at the SMC reset. This reset is good for power related issues and helps correct the icon if there are questions. Take a look at the article below for more details.

    I'm on a processor to work, so I've limited the administrative rights on the computer. My work function requires that I propose on the desktop to help others with professional assignments.

    These options are very likely controlled by your GP (Group Policy) settings on your domain. Due to the nature of the work of rights how administrative, there is no way to work around this problem, unless you have access to change group policy settings that affect all the machines on your network.

    You would need to access or to change the settings of GP or find someone who already has access.

    When I open the network and sharing Center, or hold my mouse pointer on the icon of internet connection in the bottom right of the taskbar, it shows that I'm not connected to a network. However, I know that I'm connected to the internet. My internet and e-mail work correctly. Also, when I click on the 'Connect to a network' option, find the list of available wireless networks, and it shows that I'm connected to my home network.     Had exactly the same problem on Windows 7 (win7). Connected to the Internet but the status showing no connection and a red cross on the network icon. Problem has also caused problems to connect to Lync and Office365 along with VPN, which apparently uses the status to check whether the connection is available.

    Apparently, certain permissions gets hurt in the database record and must be fixed using RegEdit. The solution is a step by step and likely to be resolved simply by removing a cache of file using RegEdit and potentially affecting certain permissions.

    I suggest you follow the steps that can help you solve your problem below:

    1. Find the file you want to edit.

    2. Right click on the file and then click Properties.

    3. Click the general tab, clear the read-only check box, and then click OK.

    I have a weird problem with the meters.

    They show the same performance, but the levels on two different audio tracks are quite different (sources being a tie and a shotgun mics, respectively).

    Waveforms provide different levels and it is correctly displayed when I turn on the audio mixer Panel. But the meters are still flat, i.e. showing only a single output.

    I tried to see the sequence settings and switch between mono/stereo/multi, etc, but nothing helped.

    The files are XAVC-I in MXF. I use CC PP 9.2.0 2015.2.

    "Everyone" is not a user.  On the contrary, it is a 'group' that contains all users except the anonymous network users (from SP2).

    • I have Real Player installed on my computer, but never use it.

    • Now that I'm aware of this abnormal situation, I realized that it must be resolved.
    • I wanted to remove the pictures of Real Player and keep them in "MY pictures", and then uninstall Real Player.
    • Once I have remove Real Player, they are deleted from "my pictures".
    • What do you suggest me to retrieve photos and maintain settings sure opperating regarding the CPU

    It is unlikely that RealPlayer is keep a copy separate from your photos. It is probably just reference your pictures folder. In this case, you can just uninstall RealPlayer.

    Everything you deleted must be in your Recycle Bin unless you have emptied. If this isn't the case, you can try this program freehttp://www.filehippo.com/download_recuva . The chances of getting them back are reduced more you use your computer.

    You should keep a copy of your data on an external hard drive. What would you do if your computer crashed or was stolen?

  • Recently, Firefox does not display PDF files. It acts like it loads the PDF file, but there is nothing there but the "program" that the document should be presented in.

    This started with 20 Firefox and persists with Firefox 21. It's never happened before. Everything is up-to-date. However, PDFs don't appear. Sometimes I see the bar indicating a load of progression and sometimes it of just the normal program PDF background, but no matter, he does not appear. What is happening with this?

    Moreover, I will eventually switch to Chrome to view the PDF file as I can't make them work in Firefox.
