  In order to install EBS R12 Oracle Linux 5, I have copy and paste the EBS_R12 file in Oracle Linux 5 screen. The file size is about 50 GB. After coply paste was successful, I don't think where is the folder (EBS_R12) in the Guest OS Oracle Linux 5.

  1. click on go > computer > macintosh HD > library > caches

• Reorganize the folders and subfolders?

  My external media player is pretty unorganized and I want to reorganize folders by dragging them into other folders and rebaptized. If I do this by LR it refresh automatically all or should I do something to update the catalog?

  My recommendation here can be a little more work, but also a bit more secure than LR, it of not a file Explorer and can often fall when moving from a large number of files.

  Backup of your catalog.

  Output LR runs.

  Using the Finder/Explorer, move the folders you want, do NOT rename anything.

  Open LR, one "missing find" in the Panel records on all folders that you moved.

  Now use LR to rename the files you want in the files Panel.

• Stroke in the wrong place after copy/paste in Illustrator CC

  Since the passage of the CS6 at CC, I have a problem of copy/paste, work of one Illustrator document to another.

  Sometimes features are in the wrong place as you can see in the screenshot below. On the left side I just copied a picture from another file I and lines appear at the bottom right where they should be (in this case it is not possible to select the lines "out of place". Moving all about what I selected moves around the misplaced lines, but they keep the same distance. The way I found for this problem is either doing "Contour lines" or to make the illustration more bigger or smaller. Which will appear automatically the features in place. If I can undo these changes traits remain in the right place.

  This seems to happen with illustrations that have been made to the CS6, but save the original file does not help CC; the problem is occurring. It also seems to occur to the traits that have a variable width profile. Features with a uniform profile remain in place. I had this problem in Illustrator CC on Windows and Mac, with various files that I created initially in CS6. It is quite annoying because I copy and paste a large number of these illustrations, so I find myself constantly having to do "Contour lines" and then "Cancel" to remedy. What can I do to prevent this?

  I copied the folder .thunderbird to another folder on my computer (Ubuntu on Dell Laptop) for backup, when I re-opened Thunderbird my accounts appear missing and it asks if I want to configure e-mail, etc. Then I deleted the file in double .thuderbird, hoping that this would fix it. On opening of Thunderbird, it is always as if it were a new installation - .thunderbird folder and files kept at the original location

  I am hoping there is a simple solution.

  Any ideas? - and yes I looked at a lot of books online!

  It me - confused things fixed which happened, but fortunately I have lay profile .default right in the end!

  I've recently upgraded to CC of CS5. I'm working on objects that have several elements. Since I'm on the CC, I run into an annoying problem. When I paste an object with several elements, or command/option/shift + do drag the object, the passage of various items in the order.

  Any ideas what's happening?

  If you copy from one document and paste in another, then paste remembers layers can change your stacking order to look different if the layers between the documents have the same name, but the order is different.

  Now you said that what happens when you make a command/option/Shift + drag. Not sure why add you the command in your modifier keys, unless you try to scroll the layers, but I recommend do not hold down the command key.

  Not to mention that it cannot offer a lot of advice, without a screenshot showing before and after, or let us know the symptoms, such as this repeat exactly every time you option/shift + do drag the selection even.

• Embed fonts disappear after copy paste

  Hi there gang.

  I have a dynamic text field that has built-in fonts. When I copy one file to another, the pasted text field loses its checkmark incorporated. I have to open the menu embed and reselect the embed appropriate keys. Any idea what could be the cause?

  The problem is that this text field is inside a component that many of my colleagues use several times / day in many assets. We just jumped to 4 CS5.5 and the text is now endangered. I have followed up to this problem, but don't know how to solve. There is NO reason for this dynamic text field should be a loser, it is incorporated... uh... ness!

  a built-in font is not 'attached' to the textfield (despite the fact that you can embed a font using the properties panel with the selected TextField).  the police is "added" to the swf.  you will see the police in the library of the swf file after incorporation correctly.

  so, if you move a textfield to a swf file, which fonts of the built-in textfield object of a swf file that does not have this embedded font, that textfield (and all other textfield in this swf file) will be there as a textfield that does NOT have this integrated police.

  for your situation, use a system font.

• All files, Documents and images missing after restart.

  What happened:
  1 was trying to organize the files of 'Documents' and 'Photos' computer so dragged out of 'Owners' on the desktop.
  2. on another task, tried to open Word, but wasn't in response, had an error message so restarted computer.
  3. restart 'Documents' and 'Photos' had disappeared from my computer and could not find them in other folders.
  Help! :(

  If you can't find a file you're looking for, it could have been recorded in or moved to a different folder than you expected, or the file had been sent to the trash.

  You can start the search for the file by using the search folder, but you can also get the file by inspecting folders where you think the file is likely to be.

• The folders and subfolders.

  Installed 12 items, catalog converted, but now my sub folders appear as the main files for file Organizer.    How can I return my original file/sup file system?    When I look at the Windows folders, my system is as it was then the two correspond no more.   I use Vista.   Can someone help me please?

  Post edited by: Annsbeads.      On additional research came through the community-powered for Photoshop family support information and it seems Adobe has removed the option to the subfolders.     WHY?     Very disappointed with 12.

  The option to display the folder hierarchy is always there. Please click Ctrl + T on Win or Mac Cmd + T to toggle the folder tree view. Alternatively, you can click on the icon next to the label of my folders in the left panel.

• Need advice. Is it necessary to put images in folders and subfolders with LR?

  It seems that the concept of spending hours to put the files in folders, subfolders, and sub-sub-folders is not necessary with LR. Creating all these folders takes hours, especially if you're like me and need a major reorganization of the Organization of the image. My thought is that all images can go in one massive folder as long as they are properly labeled. I can then use smart Collections LR essentially practically organize all my images. I can create a lot more sort options using smart Collections that I can by putting images in a folder. This goes against everything that I've learned about storing data on a computer, so I'm nervouse to head in this direction because it starts with unorganizing my files and remove all tags, so I can start again.

  I don't want to take it only to learn that I don't think a gotcha question. One drawback is that you are now committed to find anything using LR or tags only. What do you think?

  The folders do not exist. These are theoretical things. The operating system puts the files anywhere he wants on the disk, not even close to areas much of the time. He knows where the files because it has an indexing system.   So, if you have a c:\folder\pic.dng file and a c:\folder2\pic.dng file they are simply different names since what we call the path is really just a long file name. If you have saved the same 2 files c:\folder\pic.dng and c:\folder\pic2.dng it is again just another name of file and that's it, the same operating system and its index. The files in the same "file" will not be next to each other on the disk.   It follows that putting all your files in an important file or a series of smaller is all the same thing for the computer. If it has some significance in your mind, then put them where you want. It's of course still less difference in Lightroom, which is a database pure not concerned with the positioning of all physical, even up to what and where the storage media.  There is no limit to how many files, you can put in a 'folder', of course, despite what some think. This notion is a holdover from limitations of older operating systems and their capacity of memory addressing.  In terms of organizing files, that's what Lightroom for them and the keywords and structure should come from those and exif. Since these are incorporated into the files themselves and are pretty well standard, they will not be lost if Lightroom goes belly up. I can even read mine in several other programs that I use, so I'm not afraid of losing their organization and structure. And with daily backups of our precious files without fear of losing the LR catalogs or the other.
