  I wondered why, after putting the version of the viewer in your folio 'up' (say 30) you can't lower (say 28). We can't be the only people who have momentarily lost track of our applications Viewer versions and found having to recreate folios by using a lower version number? It is so easy to increase the version number (without any scary warning reminding you of the possible incompatibility)...

  Gave advice I have received here (but haven't found documentation) that there is 'no need' to set your slips to a version higher than v26 (is that correct?) I almost feel like this option should not be available or hidden away somewhere, if it is really impossible to give people the opportunity to downgrade as well as upgrade. Y of the plans to make it softer or harder to spoil?

  Default viewer version (which I think the "folio format") is v26. If you leave the default selected, you shouldn't have any problems of incompatibility because although the version of the viewer changes with each version, the folio format has not changed since v26. This is described in a couple different notes on this help page, but it's a lot of information to go.

  Unfortunately, it is easy for people to get pop up. When you see 'version of the Viewer' in the user interface, it is reasonable to think that you're missing out on some features if you select an older format rather than the newest one. At the same time, the orientation of a number of different sources indicates that the version of the viewer must be equal or lower than the version of the app, or your users will be invited to update their applications. New applications can always read older folios, but older apps cannot read the new sheets.

  It would be great if you can select a version of the viewer below once you realize your error, but this would require more technical effort that the team wants to spend. It's a similar problem with changing the format of the article. If you decide to place an article in PNG to PDF, for example, you must delete and re-create article rather than change the setting.

  Hello tjh1211, yes 21 firefox now uses the codecs that are included in your operating system that allow him to directly play the mp3 files. in order to disable that, enter about: config in the address bar of firefox (confirmed the message information where it appears) and search for the preference named media.windows - media - foundation.enabled.   If you have the English edition of Vista Ultimate, then you can download and install the MUI pack Chinese.  If you have all the other editions of Vista, you need to go to Ultimate first or buy a Chinese version and reinstall.

  I was able to expand the custom Viewer backbone than Derek articles read previously posted on wisely.

  The code works perfectly on IPads later, an Air of the IPad for example, but when you test on an iPad 2 - The Adobe DPS API does not return the folios.

  I placed the same application development on two IPads and side by side one works and returns the correct number of folios and the other returns zero.

  What size are your folios? If you published folios of 2048 x 1536, they will appear on devices iPad 2. It is recommended to publish all folios in 1024 x 768.

  I'm trying to use Multi-SCORM Packager to publish a course to a LMS system that uses SCORM 1.2.

  I open Multi-SCORM package manager > select the pre-test or post-test Rollup > and the popup clear details of the itinerary shows the SCORM 2004 version.  From Adobe on the Multi-SCORM indicates that you can change between 1.2 and 2004, but I can't figure out how.

  Any help would be very happy.

  I would like to inform you that the ability to change the version of scorm comes only when you combine scorm using multiple SCO.

  If you select restore Simple or pre-test or post-test Roll-up him you won't be able to choose the version of scorm, it will be scorm 2004 default.

• You can save a duplicate of a folio version?

  Hello.   I use Adobe DPS CC to create a simple app on iPad. I have already created a folio that is saved in the cloud to Adobe.

  But I want to experiment with some important changes without losing the work I've done. Is it possible to duplicate my folio / create a backup, so I can work on that instead, while keeping the original intact?

  You would need to keep the backup copies of your InDesign documents. It is what drives the content of folio. Make copies of the InDesign documents that you intend to change, and then use them to create a new folio in Folio Builder Panel with your changes.

Than ever folio format will be faster, for example.   It depends largely on the features you use. That said, if you can update your applications v24 to v25, I think that it is best to do, especially for Android applications. If you are creating Android applications, v25 folios work better the range of Android devices. To see if you want to use v24 or v25, look for differences between the two libraries.

  My problem with PDF-folio, is that you can zoom in and out.

  In App Builder under Advanced settings on the first page uncheck the setting to allow the zoom.

  Note that there is really only one case where you should do a folio of multiple rendering: If you use the superposition of pan and zoom on iOS. Otherwise, you just need to do a Folio PDF of 1024 x 768 and let us resize it for HD screens.
