  The two notes are similar to pre-reqs

• EBS R12.2 How to add targets to CM?

  Hi all

  EBS R12.2

  Is it possible to add targets of CM just to accommodate the priority waiting for work? Then come back once the work of priority get run?

  Or I kill just to give room for employment of priority for long running jobs?

  

  For example, users waiting why 14 jobs are still pending and they cannot wait.

  The cause is the current jobs running took a lot of time at the end, and they may have problems and issues.

  For a temporary solution is it correct to increase the target, then decrease once the other jobs get completed?

  I have created/cloned two instances CRP (8010) and UAT (8020) on the same server.

  The CRP is accessible by (firefox 41 or ie11) & java 8.60 and the form of java open correctly.

  Before opening the forms, he first asks the following prompts warning:

  But the UAT instance is accessible, but it cannot open the forms of java. Because it has not displayed the warning above.

  1. we have new servers of CRP and UAT of installation.

  2 we install all the required RPM based on the two servers based on the notes 1330701.1

  3. after that, I cloned the instance of PROD on both servers of the CRP UAT.

  4. cloning works very well on the CRP but gets the error on the UAT.

  I always get error when cloning time 2 CRP in the same server instance due to duplicate exist in the OraInventory folder.

  How to avoid it? My solution is to manually delete the entries in the xml file that is pretty hard to do because you might accidentally delete the wrong pairs of lines.

  It could be applicable to a normal situation we have discussed before.

  I don't think that the estimates may be doubled for every 100 users.

  According to R12.2 installation guide, you need the following resources for 100-200 users:

  OAF - tier approx.: 8 GB of RAM and 2 CPU (or carrots)

  OAF - DB level: 8 GB of RAM and 2 CPU (or carrots)

  Level of forms - App. : 4 GB RAM (for 100 users)

  Level of forms - DB: 3 GB RAM (for 100 users)

  Foregoing, you will need approximately 24 GB of RAM and probably 8 cores to serve 100 users (assuming that the shape layer needs 4 cores).

  The general rule for sizing would be for RAM, multiply by 1.5 and double the power of the processor every time you double the number of users (worst case).

  100 users: 8 cores and 24 GB

  200 users: 36 GB and 16 cores

  400 users: 52 GB and 24 cores

  You need to add to the above another 2 for the database layer and 3 GB for the application by the installation guide layer.

  I try to incorporate EBS R12 and HFM, using FDMEE 11.1.2.3.500. Here are the steps I followed:

  a. set up the EBS_DATA_SERVERS and the PHYSICS of PATTERNS in ODI to point to the EBS Instance using user applications

  b. set Source EBS R12 system and click INITIALIZE. (Validated that initialization is complete without errors)

  c. selected the ENTITIES of ACCOUTING suitable SOURCE for Source R12 system

  Now, when I define a new IMPORT LOCATION, I am unable to see that no matter what EBS the SEGMENTS of the SOURCE under the grid of DATA SUPPORT MAPPING format to import

  One of the reasons that you might not see entries in the drop-down segments are filtered by the entries according to the language of the browser or the language settings of the user FDMEE for localization purposes. You might want to try adjust the configuration > user settings > language of the user FDMEE to see if that can do the segments appear.

  We have a system of source English EBS 12 test with and if I change my installation > user settings > user language in FDMEE for something else that the English United States then save and return to the screen of import format, segment menu drop-down boxes are now completely empty. If I change to en - us while they are back once again.   2 CAD 10.1.3.4.1 (imported repository)
  3 Informatica 9.0.1 (imported repository)

  Everything is setup and works very well. Now, I want to connect it.
  EBS is up and running, OBIEE works, but where will find the diagram of DM for OBIEE and I arrived at the database of the EBS. But what else I need to run the initial race in CAD that extracts the Alpha of EBS R12 charge and generates data in OBIEE DM. I don't know if I already have these available in OLIVIER installation scripts. I am little stupid cant figure where they are.
