• Users and the Windows 7 parental controls: and how to disconnect a user

  I use parantal control time for my two children and have the following questions:

  (1) the time limit is too rigid.  The ability to define parts of the day when it's OK to use the computer is fine (so there is no sneaky game at 03:00).  However, the maximum amount of time a day should also be configurable as daily schedules (in the real world) tend to be less predictable, which is the case, apparently, in the land of fantasy of Microsoft.

  (2) the office must sign the user at the end of the period (or at least quiese their applications or something).  I am currently assulted with harmonious tones of an internet gambling that my child was in the middle of the cheek.

  (3) in any case, I thought, 'I'll go to Task Manager and disconnect them in the user tab.  However, it seems that my being a humble administrator is not enough because it says "access denied."   Why?  The only solution I have for now is to kill individual processes or restart the computer that are not ideal.

  About Microsoft alone 1 and 2 can be remedied by coding improvements. It may be on the cards or it may not, but I do not know how to report a feature request.

  As for 3, I can help you with the simplest solution:
  In the task manager's "processes" tab, click on the button [show processes from all users]
  The above replaces the task manager of security to run as Administrator profile.
  Now, you can return to the 'Users' tab and disconnect the offending user. :)

• Adobe Flash Player 15.0.0.16 on Win 8.1 64 bit ARE the end of Youtube user logs

  Dear readers.

  My Adobe Flash Player 15.0.0.167 on Win 64 bit 8.1 ARE (Spanish) in IE11 disconnects the user at the end of the movie from Youtube. In Event viewer is apparently no error information. I'm using Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook S6410, where on Windows Vista 32 bit and IE9 with current Flash there was no problem on Youtube movies.

  I have the feeling that initially after installation of Windows 8 and 8.1 movies from Youtube completed correctly showing a mosaic of proposed next movies. Now when the film ends, and the mosaic of the proposals should appear, the user is disconnected.

  I did all the recommendations from Adobe, and it does not help. Yet, the problem is only with Youtube for now. All other Flash content on other pages shows ok.

  All proposed the solution?

  Microsoft has changed how they identify IE in the UserAgent string in IE11 (and in more recent versions of IE10). This took place over the different versions and it is not new for the updates.  As you can see, sometimes, that they identify as Netscape/Mozilla instead of IE.  You can Google 'chain of user Microsoft agent' the search will return the various MSDN articles on this topic.  Long story short, most sites use the operating system/browser version in the user-agent string to display content for this particular combination, however, Microsoft wants to content developers to use detection, detection of browser not.  View of compatibility will not work because Microsoft will change the properties of a user agent string before the changes they did.  By doing so, Microsoft leaves the content developer to update their site.  Some have, some don't.

• How can I make a top layer "transparent" for the end user?

  You have a quick question.

  I am working on a custom map generator and I was wondering if there was any way I could keep a downloaded image editable to the end user. The end user will be able to choose which model they want to frame the picture with. The problem is, even with transparency that chose the framework acts as a layer, and once the uploaded image was placed on the area of transit, end-user lose the ability to change/scale/tilt this image. I want them to still be able to do this even with the model over their image.

  Can anyone think of a solution to this? All tips are greatly appreciated.

  You literally chop each image. To keep things reasonable update you can use Photoshop to slice the graphics, save to the external png to import into. If a picture has 4 edges, you cut out the 4 sides, import into Flash and put back together within a single Sprite or MovieClip. Any area within this sprite who does not object real is real transparency and won't call a click action.

  Don't forget, the hitboxes are rectangular. If you have an oval frame where the edges are asking you to create images with transparency on their edges, which will be clickable. If you don't immediately understand what I mean by this draw randomly just a circle in flash, convert to the clip. Now draw your cursor around what we consider the part 'top' of this frame and note how many inside you also complete capture at the same time. That will all be clickable. So that the user can 'see' their picture behind the frame, but when they click they accidentally get the framework in place.

  If you cut the oval frame into 4 pieces (it's the top of course), the transparent area, you see in the picture will be part of the hitarea for the frame. This can be just as confusing to customers in this situation. If most of your managers have little or no transparency (very square upwards) so it will be not a problem. Just like the problem you are having now, no bitmap transparency will be clickable, even if you cut the sides to the top. The Center where there is no bitmap cannot be clicked through to mess with the photo behind the frame.

  So, this makes it a little more desirable transparency detection.

  I'm not sure and it is impossible to tell from your code, but my guess is the sorting method you use t - it. If this is not the case, how you load items into the list? Basically, you want to add at the end right?

  What happens if you tried something like the following example? This works using formCalc on the change event for the user's domain is currently typing in:

• PCoIP zero client does not display an Horizon view Client user of the window for one (and only one)

  The zero client is a Samsung NC241 via Teradici Tera 2. My user has 3 virtual workstations assigned;  Current SOE with WinXP, a specific COMPUTER WinXP and a test for the upcoming Win7. When I connect the customer to see I'm automatically redirected to the WinXP for HER, without going through the window that lists usually all available virtual PC. This happens on all terminals, I tried. Other users, even if you connect to the same terminal, are given the option to select a virtual PC, even if they have the choice of a!

  I have checked the setting for the PC virtual in the Teradici PCoIP Management Console and also the settings of the user under the Horizon view VMware administrator but cannot find where my configurations user and desktop are different from those that work "correctly".

  Is someone able to propose what I'm looking for?

  I arrived on the solution after you follow through with your suggestion above. I used the client on a Windows PC, then after that record on I clicked on 'Options' in the bar of VMwareView Client session and erased the text is 'auto connect to this office. We have the option 'Enable automatic reconnection' set to false, so I'm not sure why that followed me.

  But the good news is that it worked!

  I use Spry in DW CS4 tools with files written in PHP and have successfully created a login page that validates the ID of the user (which corresponds to their e-mail address) and subject to password on a database of MySQL with a user table. The user's table also contains fields such as first/last name, address, telephone, city/province/postal code, so it is not just a username (email address) and password.

  If the problem is the following. When the user connects, they are routed to a page "member account" where I want to display a dynamic table showing their first/last name, address e-mail, address, city, State, zip and phone number, so they can view their current settings.

  Trying to use the advanced record set tool, I can see where I would do a select on the table of the user for different values, but what should I use to select the information for the user who has registered? I tried various forms of a session variable (I looked at the code on the login page and found $_SESSION ['MM_Username'] and tried it on the Member account page) and I also tried of $_POST ['email'] using a where clause clause, but he never seems right because I get errors.

  I decided to back off to the help of the table for a little bit and just try to display the name of the user logged on successfully since the previous login page, but I can't even do it right.

  Any ideas of how I can use the e-mail address of the user connected to the Member account page to retrieve data correctly (or even to print Hi John Doe)?  I guess I'll have to also use a similar technique when they click on an "edit my account" link on the account page member to change their current settings (assuming that I can display them properly on the Member account page so that they know that something needs to be changed or not).

You then set the value of execution of col1, col2, etc in the variables of the dialog box by clicking the button "+" and adding each one variable at a time.
