  I am a DBA Apps and try to figure out how to do an installation of OBIEE and the OBIApps for 11.1.1.7(Informatica et DAC spécifiquement) on environment domestic. Can someone please help me understand this process. Oracle documentation is so confused right now.  I need to know how to install OBIEE first and then go back and install Apps or is it everything out of it, the documentation seems to separate everything, instead of putting them together. I'm very confused someone can you please point me in the right direction. I do this so that I can learn OBI, informatica and DAC.

  You must install OBIEE first as Setup of the olive TREE invites you to enter the details of the facilities of OBIEE such as BI-location, password weblogic, port etc.. With the installation of OBIEE in place, you will not be able to proceed with the installation of BI applications.

  We implement OBI Apps 7963 with EBS R12.1.3, need help on that.
  
  How to associate groups and responsibilities of EBS in the Application role? If we are to create a role group for each responsibility and Application?
  Then provide permissions in the SPR for each of them?   You will need to create 20 Application corresponding to the names of responsibility roles.

  Use one of the following methods to configure application roles:

  Create application roles in the store of strategies with the same names as the existing responsibilities or groups in the source applications. Then, add the new application roles as members of role groups in specific to Oracle BI application, and users will inherit this membership based on their own responsibilities or roles in the OLTP application.

  Add new specific responsibilities BI of Oracle (Oracle EBS and Applications of CRM Siebel) or roles (PeopleSoft Enterprise applications) in the source applications, ensuring that their names correspond to application security object roles in Oracle BI Applications and assign OLTP users to these new groups. Users then inherit membership of role of application in the same way as described in the previous method.

  as you might have known or guessed, OBIEE is a tool for reporting/trend where the reports can be generated using responses of the OBI, published by using dashboards OBI and pronounced using OBI IBOTS. Formerly known as the siebel analytical, formerly called Nquire OBIEE. Now, Hyperion is mergerd/combined with OBIEE and there is for this combination on the market (I guess).

  OBIEE is the same that microstrategy and cognos/business objects/sap bw / much more in the market today.
  customers (in real time, no one does this) can also Ad - hoc reporting by themselves with developers of dashboard

  BI Apps is a pre-engineered/pre-prepackaged/delivered/fate of a box of material which is developed by Oracle Corp., thinking that this dashboards (webcatalogs) OOTB, repository, informatica adopters will be good enough for customers who plan to invest low on human resources and use the analysis tool immediately.

• Column of nationality in W_employee_d for OBI Apps?

  Where is column of nationality of the employee in the OBIAPPS 11.1.1.7.1 data warehouse? Regarding applications BI 7.9.6.4 nationality column is available in the W_EMPLOYEE_D table, but in the new version of OBI APPS 11.1.1.7.1 we are not able to find the column of NATIONALITY in W_EMPLOYEE_D.

  Assuming that it's source Oracle EBS, nationality (according to the table of the people) is mapped to citizenship to the W_HR_PERSON_LEG_D. For flexfield columns that you need to customize the source for this column in 11.1.1.7.1, however, argue for Setup flexfield EBS I hope it will be released in the next version.

  You need to install informatia for that.Informatica will extract master of EBS and load data in the tables of warehouse that is using RPD.

• app iOS using AS3 don't fit the screen dimensions

  I am building an iOS application using as3 and air to package the app on my iPhone 6. My problem is that I get a black bar above and below the app, the app itself is not full screen. Step screen is set to the dimensions of 6 iPhone screen.

  for the schema you can find below

  In obiee11.1.1.6.0 version S_NQ_ACCT followed its use and the planning objects are moved in the area of target to the schema database of the UCR and also new added column and several types of column has changed.

  You can use the cordova-plugin-device plugin for a UUID of the device (this api is the same on iOS, Android,...)

  This isn't exactly the same as the IMEI, but it is unique enough to identify the device, while protecting the privacy of the owner of the phone.

  If you need to get the IMEI, then google is your friend. This [1] was the first result when searching for "imei cordova.

  There's a good stack overflow article here [2] which has the disadvantage of using this value and encourage you to consider other ways to identify users, because users cannot trust your application if you ask for this info. Read the accepted answer.
