  I guess by that you are referring to the HP ePrint mechanism.

  Still, I'm not familiar with this, but if I understand correctly:

  • You send a document (only certain types are supported) to the e-mail address provided at hpeprint.com
  • Location Server turns your document to an equivalent printer format (i.e. effectively runs through a driver printer residing on this server).
  • Then the printer ready job is sent (not sure of the mechanism) of your device, via your internet router.

  So this may use a different driver on your premises and may also use a different route in your printer.

  I physically have an English keyboard with my PC, and I get ["] when I actually meant to type [@].

  As I mentioned, it was perfectly fine with XP or Vista, type with Japanese IME and the English keyboard layout. How to make the setting even with Windows 7?

  Here's how I solved the problem, but I do recommend not really - MS should distribute a fix to fix.

  1. open the registry editor.

  2. go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\i8042prt\Parameters

  3. change the value of LayerDriver JPN kbd101.dll to kbd106.dll

  4. change the value of OverrideKeyboardIdentifier from PCAT_106KEY to PCAT_101KEY

  5 change the value from 2 to 0 OverrideKeyboardSubtype

  6. close the registry editor and restart Windows.

  Here's my problem: I have a second provision of keyboard configured and I move between them, depending on the language that I type in. If I take the Surface while the keyboard of the foreign language is activated, the English keyboard disappears from the list after the restart and I can get it only if I go into Control Panel, remove the foreign language and add it again. The English keyboard is still listed in the Panel, but it does not appear on the charm of parameters, for me to move while typing. Looks like a very basic feature doesn't work does not correctly, I can't believe it was missed by the QA...

  You cannot change the default font or the color of the font used for items in Windows. But you can expand all text (and other things like icons) on your screen, or you can change the size of the text to specific items without changing the size of anything else on the screen.

  This seems very strange question, could be due to corruption in your file.

  Try following the procedure below.

  1. Create a new mask in your file.
  2. Copy all the elements of the old master in it.
  3. Apply to this new form of basis to all your pages.
  4. re - publish your site with the option 'Download all' selected

  I have a problem to see my Gotham font styles. I installed all and I can see clearly without any error in the font book. I can see also all 8 styles software Apple Keynote, TextEdit or Pages, but miss me him 4 or 5 styles in InDesign - I see that bold, italic, regular and thin. Miss me ultra, extrabold and others.

  Solved! CC of reflow of edge will allow you to copy and paste HTML Code CC (Preview) edge in a text box/span, but it displays "intelligently" only "text" you pasted. However, if the HTML code you copied includes a duration with a style, this confuses reflow and causes the very erratic behavior described above with the style of text that appears to the failure of inconsistently.

  Solution: no copy / paste something else than plain text in a text to reflow box/span.

  VMware Workstation 7.0:

  Install Windows 7 in a VM. When I want to connect I have to enter my password with an English keyboard. After logging in, my keyboard settings are changed to Swiss German (which I chose in the settings of the keyboard in Windows 7).

  No idea how to fix? I could connect (enter password) with a German or Swiss German keyboard?

  All Mylenium said is true. If you're on a Mac, you can see which fonts you have installed by opening the application book fonts . Although the available fonts will be displayed in the type menu of Photoshop, you can check in the font book, too. One time open, find the police you were trying to use in Photoshop, and then click the twirly to see all of the "police family". You can see below that my Gothic 13 Std policy does come in regular.

  

  To use bold italics and wrong wrong on the character panel buttons, follow the instructions below.

  1: open the character Panel by going on window > character.

  

  2: select your type by double clicking on the "T" icon in the layers panel.

  

  3: click on one of the marked icons below to false bold and/or italic.

  

  As Mylenium says these options does not have results that look as good as a font that has been designed specifically as an italic/oblique or heavier weight. In fact, many designers would avoid using the wrong options entirely... but it is at your discretion. Another solution, especially if you have coded a large number of images, would be to implement a policy that includes different weights and italics.
