  I tried a vertical centering by defining block of text Options > vertical Justification > Align: Center, but my text is not always get centered vertically. When I put in English words instead of Hebrew ones Gets the text vertical centered.

  There is a sort of invisible box around characters in a font. The measures of the frame of the lower part of the characters below the baseline (such as p or j) to as high as high as the tops of the Capitol letters for diacritical marks such as umlauts and accents. Given that most of the characters are not completely going toward the highest handle or down to the lowest decender, it may seem that the text is not centered between the two vertical points.

  If you need the text to be centered exactly, you can cheat it by applying the vertical offset, but keep in mind that if you change the text, you may need to adjust the amount of vertical offset again. You can use the vertical offset for the text itself, or change text frame options and change the Baseline Options. Also, in your screenshot, I see you have rounded edges on your block of text. The vertical justification works on rectangular text blocks, it's why that doesn't work.

• Footer text wrapping

  A writer has encountered a situation that I can't understand. Its footer text will wrap when there is no < br > tag, just a long string of & npsp; tags with text. I would have joined the code, but it talks about stripping of HTML code and replace them with spaces. All this is already spaces.   My guess is that some kind of interaction going on with the footer frame - product finished maybe isn't the same size as the generated help.

  Anyway, I don't think that the nonbreaking spaces are a good way to move the text around - in any format, HTML or not. I suggest a table with columns defined as percentages - you can get a right nice justified item which kind and I think that there is a problem with the insertion of a table in the foot.

  I'm converting a site office to a sensitive site. I have a master page and a page master B. Each page has several lines of text in the navigation links to internal pages. I started with a breakpoint of 1240; redesigned the page and made the footer nav 2 lines. Done the same breakpoint breakpoint 960 and 1024. In each breakpoint, the navigation footer text block is pinned and set to NONE when resizing. When I go to the next breakpoint of 770 I want to change the text of 3 lines. When I do this by placing a hard return, it makes OTHER breakpoints for the same three lines I want to change them. I have the tool text defined on only ONE FORMAT CURRENT breakpoint, but it still makes the others. Then the program gives me an error code: inconsistency of text stream in the block of text U1217 breakpoint 960 px. and then crashes. Even if I had 960 runs and I was about to stop 770, I get the error code for the 960.

  As a work around, I deleted the entire footer navigation links text box and tried to use only text plane, perhaps thinking that it has something to do with navigation. He continues to change the text in the other breakpoints. I tried this several times and I get the error code every time now. I had to go in a time machine to make progress yesterday because multiple versions of recovery were causing other issues.

  So at this point, all I want to do is change the two lines of type in three lines of type navigation text on 2 of the 5 stitches. Other breakpoints in 2 lines.

  I even deleted the page text block master B could have some elements tied to her Master A page to make sure. Still have the error code.

  All text in footers resize set to NONE.

  Hi Ben,

  While the Muse supports different formatting of text in all breakpoints, it does not support different structure/content of text through them. Returns and characters are part of the content and will be shared through breakpoints.

  Have you tried to hide the ball in the smallest breakpoint by changing its color to the [none] swatch?

  I have a photo at the top of a page, I want to anchor in the first line of the text on this page, but the continuous text goes behind it. Is there a solution to this, or is this a limitation of InDesign? I made the transparent box so that you can see how the text behind it. I can't put the anchor on the input line because it is on another page and the image comes back to a page. Thanks for any help.

  I use InDesign CC2014 - if that makes a difference.

  the only way is to convert numbered in the text (select numbered list > ctrl (or right click) > bulleted & numbered lists > convert numbered text).

  Then, with search - replace, you can change the paragraph returns in space (or in space by commas as in your example)

• Blue line on the page footer text and the page number?

  OK, so after the upgrade to InDesign CC 2015 (and opening a file, conversion to a new format, deletion of a page of the file), a blue line appeared as if by magic on my footer text and page number (both are from the master page). Without any explanation whatsoever. I have not met before, so I have no idea of what the program is trying to tell me. Anyone know what this means?

  Hi lohari,.

  We are aware of some issues with typographic text in ID CC 2015. We are working on a fix.

  In the meantime, you can use the following workaround : open preferences > display performance and set the 'Greek Type below' to 0 pt.

  I need assistance with the addition of the text on the first page of my .rtf in the footer only. I searched the forum and I have not found exactly what I'm trying to implement. There is a wire that has

   <?start@first-page:body?>footer text <?end body?>

  but once this syntax is added, I get an error message. My end user want that the text on the first page of the footer, the model may be one of many pages once presented as a preview. Any information or help is appreciated.

  You can use different first page option in ms word, then you will get a single footer on the first page.

  go to your header or footer double click then you go in the upper msword option another first page check only option so that you can get the footer that you need.

  I am new to this employer, but part of my job is to update the site built in MUSE by an entrepreneur last year. The contract has expired and is no longer, they don't work for our firm. The site is very good indeed, with the exception of the person contact. I need to enter the footer to change the return address. Access using INBROWSER does not work. So I went on the server to try to change the text from there but I'm not sure what file to edit. Anyone has an idea on how best to proceed?

  If the foot is the same on every page, you need to change each of the .html files individually. Index.HTML is the homepage. You will nee to look at the names of each page in the browser to discover the rest.

  Please try to turn off 'IBE' (aka of editing in the browser) in the Panel "Advanced" dialog "Properties of the Site" within the Muse and the re - publish and check if that corrects the problem, the cause is something that we are aware and working on a fix for.

  I put the text in the footer on the master page in Muse.  Here, it looks perfect but on the following pages, it's far where I'd like to be.  Can anyone help with this?

  See the image below for configuring your footer:

  Set your white box for but against the footer line.

  Keep your text in footer below the footer.

  In the site properties, make sure that "Sticky Footer" is disabled.

  Also noticed your data graphics/throw past the lines '0' and '950. You will encounter problems if you don't keep them inside the lines.
