For ASUS Ver: 1.0 MS-7525 motherboard power connections

It is certainly the power supply (it's dead!)

I'm trying to find the connections of power supply to the motherboard ASUS MS-7525 Ver: 1.0 (Compaq Presario SR5518F - bought 5-6 years there are clips), for the replacement of a power supply. I have a Corsair CX 430to installation and some motherboard connections were loose and fell out. I found a kazillion with this motherboard sites, but they keep connection to other pages?

I'm trained tech but not much experience yet. I'm sure I can do this...  I could probably start pc and look in help on board, but it may be unnecessary...

The power that you referenced can be found here, the motherboard here and the various connectors here.

On the power supply, you will find:

1 x main connector (20 + 4 pins) - to be connected as a 24-pin motherboard
1 x 8 pin EPS 12V - divides into 2 4 pin connectors, connects to the motherboard
1 x PCI-E - not used
4 x SATA - 1 to each Sata (hard or CD/DVD) drive
3 x peripheral - not used
1 x floppy - not used

  • Fastest processor for Asus A8N - LA?

Hi, I have a Compaq Presario SR1950NX which has an Asus A8N - LA motherboard. I want to upgrade the fastest processor, I can, and according to this page, I use an AMD Athlon 64 X 2.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c00683208

Research, there are many kinds of X 2 processors. What is the fastest X 2 model name I can get for this motherboard?

    Thank you!

I can't even find any DC 939 @ Newegg.  I met only a 939 Board that will not work with a smart DC (Abit AX8 following a problem with the VIA NB/SB).  Again, the jury should run at a DC with the BIOS of the law, and the only way you will know for sure is to pop in a chip.  The difference between the bottom and the top of range DC in real condition is less than 15%.

I guess you have to pay at least $170 for a good 939 DC.  It's twice the price of a modern C2D capable of + 3.2 GHz (oveclocked).  2 x 2 GB DDR2 6400 is $ 22.  Add another $100 for a new motherboard and $38 for a new power supply.  So for another $55, you will have a new PC which is two times faster than an old 939 DC.

PM me if you need help with the operating system.

  • Area 51 for Asus R9 290 X DCII problem upgrade

I got a new Asus R9 290 X today and installed in my Area 51, by replacing my HD5970.  My Area 51 has a 1200W power supply, but I think I'm having a power problem.  The PC starts up fine and runs on the desktop and internet browsing, but as soon as I put a load of games on it, she blackscreens and locks.  I found that by using different combinations of PCI - E power connectors I can extend the time before the PC locks and blackscreens; the longer is when you use the connectors P19 and P17, but even that is only about 5 seconds.  When you use P16/P17 and P18/19, it crashes almost immediately.  The old card (HD5970) used P16/P17.  The cards said requirements are 12V/24 has on the power supply with a minimum of 750W.  The power of area 51 is not able to provide this amount of current, or is not providing enough through the PCI-E motherboard?  Or is the map just might be bad?

    Thanks in advance!

OK, when an office spazzes like that w / a new card, the variables surrounding the possible reasons are starting to accumulate you listed & I don't know what advice to offer, because the power supply is not even stop, but the "freeze", if you want to call it, so forgive me if I don't chime in beyond what I say on the power...

If you exceed the cabling business together, the sons of 12 volts for sata, mthrbrd, mio, cpu, disk sata hard etc are:

    • blue-white
    • White
    • YLW - wht

This should make three of the five tracks. If your pci-e cables are ylw & blu - ylw, that should make the rails in 4 h/5. On the 1100 watt unit, six rails, you get an extra pci-e cable. On the 1200w, buy a 4 for the 7th 'rail' (j297r) cable, while vhm5v has all 4 pcie on 12V3 rail cables. Mathematically, the pci-e cables are each on their own railroad. I own the 1100w, & two of the year 1200, & this is my interpretation of the 1000/1100/1200 harness 12v colors more pci-e cables compared to account"12v rail.

If you need further confirmation, which I did not need, I guess you crack your psu case open, & w/a multimeter & maybe even visually, you can try to find the actual separations inside the PSU between the lines of the blu-wht-ylw 12v (three rails) as opposed to your two pci-e cables.

If your power supply has five rails, & track down you your blu-whte-ylw lines in your harness, nothing is left except your two video cables to take into account two other rails...

as stated in the post of 7990, since his mthrbrd is supplied with 12v to off line ylw - 12v wht, & the cpu off the coast of the blu - wht, I tried to tell him in a pm trying an adapter sata for his white as pwr out of its sata hdd boost a possible "underused rail" to give the mthrbrd a jolt of a rail that was not in use (platelets) by the mthrbrd/cpu... it was a suggestion, because, as said, his problems went away with cables y-split, but I doubt that yours will be w/a freezing pc problem. I think that you can be sure that your cables are on their own tracks of 18 a well...

  • 2540, put in place for asus Tablet

    Hello

I am trying to set up a printer for my father in law to use his tablet with a new printer

    It uses an Asus Tablet

He just bought a compatible HP2540 wireless printer

It features a wireless network put in place in his house - no access direct pc

Router is old with no wps button to pair the printer and router

I installed app eprint and can see the printer but when I try to connect - it does not and it asks for a password.  Of course - it is not the wifi password.

    Hello

The Android solution do not offer the capabilities of wireless configuration, walkaround, such use the EWS interface to connect the printer to your wireless network:

    1. On the printer control panel, press the HP direct wireless icon () for 3 seconds, a Direct report wireless print, including the password for the Direct wireless network.
    2. On the Android device, tap Settings > Wi - Fi and then select HP-Print - xx-[your printer model name] in the list of available networks. type the password printed on step 1.
    3. Navigate to http://192.168.223.1/.
    4. Select the network tab.
    5. Within the wireless section, select Assistant wireless and follow the steps for me onnecter to your router.
    6. Reconnect the android device save you your router.

You can now print using the HP ePrint app.

  • Is there a Board of PCI-e expansion for ASUS P5BW - THE Basswood2-UL8E on d4790y?

I want to improve my d4790ycto with usb 3.0, but I need another bus of pci - e. Video card must use a pci-e to the Board of Directors. The Extender I have: http://www.blujay.com/item/HP-5188-3753-HP-PCI-EXTENDER-BOARD-HP-5188-3753-5187-4931-Hp-Motherboard-... - is not used except for a wireless card that I can easily swap places with the modem/fax card. This would let me be able to replace the pci extender with an extension of pci - e (i.e. If one is available at a cheap price, of course) is available.

I've read about editing maps, bubt do not know if my computer supports the...

    Can anyone help on this?

I knew that I probably should have bought a new computer when it broke the first time lol!

    Hello

This USB 3.0 PCI card might work if you have a free PCI slot.

Since the wireless card is PCI, you cound replace with a wireless USB 2.0 adapter.  Not many use a modem/fax card these days so maybe that could be deleted.

You must have a size ATX case to use this expansion card.
