For loop Query - by assigning values to Variables

I have the following code slot in my flash file...

Q2A random + (10) = 1;
Q2B random + (10) = 1;
years2 = q2a + q2b;

I have 18 thing similar to this in my file, where it basically... increments q3a etc. Y at - it a simple way of creating a loop that will iterate through all of them? I could not the syntax just when I tried it myself.

  • For loop tunnel exit "Last value" output of default values

    Salvation OR community,

    Today, I came across a probem of LabVIEW stange. A tunnel of release of "Last value" to a for loop back the default values instead of the last real value. The code is below:

    Below as screenshots of probes 44 and 45.

    When the probe 44 contains al the data (all the planks are present (and the correct "Testrack Module" is used)) probe 45 is empty.

    I already tried to remove the complete thread and it rewire. The result was the same.

    However, I also tried to use registers with shift instead of the tunnels and the code works now (see below for the code).

    The used version of Labview is 2013 SP1.

    I hope you can help,

    Tim

    Edit: If the images are too small, you can drag it to a new tab, and they become the original size.

    Tim,

    My first assumption: the because the loop never executes as you pass an empty array to an entry of automatic indexation.

    Another option, which is difficult to see in the screenshot: are there two entries of tunnels over the probe nr 42?

  • FOR loop does not update the local Variable

    I am newer to labview, and I can't wrap the head around why not a habit of local variable to update in the code if it updates on the dashboard. Anything im missing?

    Assume that you are talking about the local variable of the 'State of the cell. The terminal updates every 500ms in the small top loop, the local variable indicates simply that the indicator and thus updates also.

    The problem is "dataflow" and you need to familiarize yourself with the concept!

    Once the while loop starts, the local variable is reading and inside the loop begins. Most likely, the local variable is read before it is updated in the small loop, so most likely returns the value of a fade on the first iteration of the while loop. Now the small loop continues to go twice per second for about five seconds. Only after the loop FOR (and everything else inside the while loop) completed, the while loop will go to the next iteration, date on which the local variable is read once more, this time with the last value of the last for loop iteration of the previous iteration of the while loop.

    In summary, the local variable updates very well, it's just that the code does not read the new value around most of the time.

    Your VI is full also potential competition conditions caused by the over-use of the local variable. You need to respect the proper execution order by eliminating local variables.

    So what is the solution? Hard to say without knowing what the VI is supposed to do. Most likely, you will need to remove the inside OF the loop and use it outside while loop for everything.

  • For loop runs with the value of N unwired

    In this case will be a loop run connected to the loop N worthless? I have seen a few examples of the loop for run without a certain number of times set to be ran wired or for example a size of table or something like that.

    PauldePaor wrote:

    Here's a program I am and as you can see the image that the program runs without the loop N being wired. The program will run without problem

    As everyone else has said, you don't have to plug something on N.  If you wire up a table for loop for input "auto-index", the loop for will run automatically the smaller table size.

    Perhaps an example will help:

    This makes a loop on my table size (in this case, long of 5 elements).  On the edge of the loop for which resembles [] brackets, indicates that it is auto-indexé.  The loop should go through each item one at a time (1, then 2, then 3, then 4, then 5).

  • A query for the IP address and assign value to variable

    I'm working on information from our host and put in a spreadsheet.

    I can get the value of this way:

    $network = $esxi | Get-VMHostNetworkAdapter-name vmk0

    $WorkSheet

    . cells.item(16777216) (11,$i( )

    = $network.ip

    But is there a way to get the IP assigned in one order without having to be defined first in a variable and then referencing .ip?

    You can combine your code with a single command, as follows:

    $WorkSheet.cells.item(11,$i) = ($esxi | Get-VMHostNetworkAdapter -name vmk0).ip

    If you want to read the file, you can make use of the slot feature.

    Returns the string value of an element defined by lookupXPath in an XML (docURL) given its parent XPath (parentXPath), the XPath (keyXPath) key, and the value of the key (key). Usage: oraext:lookup - xml (docURL as string, parentXPath as string, keyXPath as string, lookupXPath as string, key as String)

    Example: oraext:lookup - xml ("file: / d:/country_data.xml ',' / country/Country ', 'Short', 'FullName', 'UK'") returns the value of the FullName child/country / countries where abbreviation = "UK" in the d:\country_data.xml file

    and therefore loses the previously calculated values of v_qty and rem_qty
    in the previous iteration of the loop outside whereas I want inside the loop iterate on it previously calculated the values of v_qty and rem_qty but can not think of a work around.

    >

    >
    Well you do almost everything bad that could be hurt.

    Here is the code that works to insert data into your table (the procedure is not even necessary).

    declare
    p_sl_num NUMBER := 1001;
    p_description VARCHAR2(50) := 'Testing Val1';
    inval1 test_type1 := test_type1();
    inval2 test_type2 := test_type2();
    begin
    inval1.extend();
    inval1(1) := test_object1('testx1', 'testx2', 'testx3');
    inval2.extend();
    inval2(1) := test_object2('testy1', 'testy2', 'testy3');

    INSERT INTO test_object_tpe
    (
    sl_num,
    description,
    main_val1,
    main_val2
    )
    VALUES
    (p_sl_num, p_description, inval1, inval2);
    commit;
    end;
    /

    See example 5-15 making reference to an element of nested Table Chapter 5 using PL/SQL collections and records in the PL/SQL doc
    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/B28359_01/AppDev.111/b28370/Collections.htm#CJABEBEA

    1. you don't even have the procedure because it is a simple INSERTION in the table you can do directly (see my above code)

    inval1(1).val1 := 'testx1';

    Since you have not yet created all the elements, there is no element 1 "inval1". You need EXTEND the collection to add an element

    inval1.extend();

    And then, there is an empty element, but "inval1" is a container for objects of type 'test_object1' not for scalars as "val1", "val2", and "val3".
    If you can not do

    inval1(1).val1 := 'testx1';

    You must create an instance of 'test_object1 '.

    inval1(1) := test_object1('testx1', 'testx2', 'testx3');

    And so on for the other collection

    You don't need the procedure (as my code example shows), but once you fill in the variables correctly it will work.

  • How to set a variable in a table to grid 'for' loop

    I'm afraid I'm stuck again!

    The next step in the animation I'm working on, is to set up a Boolean value, 'pierced = false', so that all instances of the attachMovie ("openCircle") have a Boolean "drilled = false' associated with them." Then when someone clicks on one of the instances of the attachMovie ("openCircle"), the Boolean value becomes "pierced = true', but only for that instance was clicked."

    What I've done is to set the (Boolean) variable (highlighted in bold below) in the two 'for' loops through the table in the grid, but it returns an undefined value. Do I need to configure a separate table? (see code below):-

    set up the grid for solid table

    spacing: var number = 5.75;

    Var CDL: number = 20; the number of columns in the grid

    var rows: number = 20; number of grid lines

    var leftMargin:Number = 154;

    var topMargin:Number = 169;

    depth: var number = 100; starting point for the depth

    var drilled: Boolean;

    for (i = 1; I < = lines; i ++) {}

    for (j = 1; j < = cols; j ++) {}

    drilled [rows, cols] = false;

    trace (drilled);

    current = attachMovie ("openCircle_mc", "openCircle_mc" + i + "_" + j, depth ++);

    Current._x = leftMargin + ((i-1) * (spacing + current._width));

    Current._y = topMargin + ((j-1) * (spacing + current._height));

    Current.Row = i;

    Current.Col = j;

    Current.Oil = Math.floor (Math.random () * 1.1);  about 1/10 objects have oil = 1, 9/10 oil = 0

    Open the circle initially invisible, visible on rollover

    Current._alpha = 0;

    {current.onRelease = function ()}

    trace (this.row + "" + this.col);

    current.drilled = true;

    }

    current.onRollOver = function() {}

    This ._alpha = 100;

    }

    current.onRollOut = function() {}

    This ._alpha = 0;

    }

    }

    }

    I would be grateful for any help. Thank you.

    Then, create a two dimension table named drilled so that it exists when you try to fill...

    var drilled: Array = new Array (new Array();

    There might be a problem that you're missing setting the values of the [0, #] components of the table - paintings begin with an index of 0.

  • Passing an associated variable number between 'for' loops and functions?

    Hello

    I seem to have a problem with the information how variables can be passed between functions and tables.

    I have variable 'capture' put in place as a number.

    grab var: number;

    My intention (I'll do my best to explain) must have a number 'attached' to catch when it is mentioned for the first time in this function, itemClick.

    These must be all relevant tables:

    clickItemArray = [scene_Camp.wood, scene_Ax.ax]

    itemUsableArray = [wood2, ax2]

    ...

    sceneGuyArray = [scene_Camp.guy_Camp, scene_Ax.guy_Ax]

    function itemClick(event:MouseEvent) {}

    for (grab = 0; enter < clickItemArray.length; grab ++) {}

    If (clickItemArray [type] .hitTestPoint (mouseX, mouseY, true)) {}

    addEventListener (Event.ENTER_FRAME, itemRemoval);

    sceneGuyArray [grab] .gotoAndPlay ("guy_Notice");

    trace ("guy_Notice");

    }

    }

    }

    I would like to have the number in place with grab (it would be a 0 or 1, clickItemArray, sceneGuyArray and itemUsableArray) can be passed on to the next function, itemRemoval. I was hoping to use variables I can use the same function for some point clicked on. For example, if the clickItemArray was point 1 (the axe), then sceneGuyArray [Enter] would be = 1, and would play the right frame. Number 1 would be transferred to the itemRemoval function, where he would constantly be listening to sceneGuyArray [1] also (where '1' would have been obtained through the initial 'grab' in the first function) and react accordingly.

    function itemRemoval(event:Event) {}

    for (var grab2:uint = grab; grab2 < sceneGuyArray.length; grab2 ++) {}

    If (sceneGuyArray [grab2] .currentLabel == 'guy_NoticeDone') {}

    removeEventListener (Event.ENTER_FRAME, itemRemoval);

    trace ("cheese");

    }

    }

    }

    I can't get the track works well. I don't know I'm doing something wrong with 'for' loops or the stated case.

    Naturally, help would be appreciated.

    then, in itemClick(), use:

    Grab = itemClickArray.IndexOf (Event.currentTarget)

  • Global variables and for loops

    Hello

    I am working on my project for my programming course (a game of Connect 4) and am now in gritty step to rewrite all the code to make look it somewhat professional. Was it the original... disaster: http://zephyr.pastebin.com/7kfyaMRY--Oui, I know who will probably do someone of you cringe. I try to avoid the massive chain of JPanel panelXxY = new JButton(""); using loops for. I need to keep global variables so that I can call in my actionPerformed method, but apparently you can not put a loop outside of a method or main and even if you could, apparently all variables declared in a for loop said would not exist outside this loop. So, any suggestions? Keep in mind that I only knew even what a string for all... 10 weeks, so please nothing too complicated.

    Thank you ~.

    See the following for some ideas:
    Update of textFields via a For loop

    To Connect-4, you can use a two-dimensional array.

  • Nested for loops EACH in the XML editor

    I have a xml like this.

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <DATA_DS>
         <Line_Approver>
              <getLineNumberAssigneesResponse>
              <result>
                    <LineNumber>1</LineNumber>
                    <Assignees>One</Assignees>
               </result>
              <results>

                   <LineNumber>2</LineNumber>
                   <Assignees>Two</Assignees>
              </result>

              </getLineNumberAssigneesResponse>
         </Line_Approver>
    <DATA_DS>
         <HEADER>
         <INVOICE_ID>300100071480733</INVOICE_ID>
         <AMOUNT>1111</AMOUNT>
         <INVOICE_CURRENCY_CODE>USD</INVOICE_CURRENCY_CODE>
         <INVOICE_NUM>100</INVOICE_NUM>
         <INVOICE_DATE>2015-11-13T00:00:00.000+05:30</INVOICE_DATE>
         <PAYMENT_CURRENCY_CODE>USD</PAYMENT_CURRENCY_CODE>
         <ORG_ID>204</ORG_ID>

         <INVOICELINES>
                  <LINE_NUMBER>1</LINE_NUMBER><LINE_TYPE>Item</LINE_TYPE><AMOUNT>1000</AMOUNT><INVOICE_ID>zzz</INVOICE_ID><EXPENDITURE_ITEM_DATE></EXPENDITURE_ITEM_DATE>
         </INVOICELINES>
         <INVOICELINES>

         </INVOICELINES>
         </HEADER>

    <some more xml/>
    </DATA_DS>

    </DATA_DS>

    As you can see there are two results and and two invoice lines.

    I want to create a table of invoice lines for which the line number is present in the result.

    So my psudo code is as follows

    for each in result:
         assign result.linenumber to variable
         for each in InvoiceLines:
              compare the InvoiceLines.Line_number to variable:
                   if match print row.

    I know I won't have access to the LineNumber result with in second forloop because of the determination of the lexical scope.

    Far from assignment, I am unable to get the value of the number of the line itself.

    I tried two methods of application for with in what work force. The underside of work that uses the absolute path.

    What xpath Miss. Can I do better?

    FOR1: <?for-each:/DATA_DS/Line_Approver/getLineNumberAssigneesResponse/result?>

    FOR2: <?for-each:/DATA_DS/DATA_DS/HEADER/INVOICELINES?>

    LINE_NUMBER

    LINE_TYPE

    AMOUNT

    For 1 <? LineNumber? > 2 LINE_NUMBER

    LINE_TYPE

    AMOUNT ENDFOR1 ENDFOR2

    I think I gave enough information. Answer just in case I did not say anything clearly.

    You can do this via a simple foreach loop and the code would be

    Please see the data XML and RTF attached for your reference.

    I changed the data in XML format (I added 10 instead of 1) just to make sure that its works or not, and it works very well.
