• Need help to decode javascript tag for the release of HTML5.

  Hi all

  I'm working on a project in Adobe captivate 7 64 bit which consists of approximately 500 slides with most of the slides in text and image. The problem that I face is very unusual that I guess I'm the first to discover (according to my searches on google and the forums). So, after I publish my project the output works very well in html (local and online) BUT when I run index.html (i.e., out of HTML5) the course is not running and the screen is blank.

  After spending a week on the search online and using the strategy of trail and error, I was able to know that it was the text of the URL "F:\usrnew\purchase" placed in the middle of the course which caused damage of all. However, the url has been removed and the project has been submitted.

  After extra time, I discovered that the "\u" letter which is a JavaScript tag was causing the problem for the release of HTML5. I don't really know much to script, but discovered that the tag can be decoded using a programming strategy. Now, this is where my knowledge comes from a standby and needs a lift from you guys.

  Any ideas, help, sharing of knowledge would be very useful to me and all who could deal with this problem in the future.

  Solution: Change the single slash "------" to a double slash "\".

• Audio for the release of HTML5

  I'm trying to publish HTML5 using Captivate 7:

  I want audio to play automatically when the slide is loaded and then there is a button, the user can press on repeat audio... but when I publish Captivate says "internal error" and "publish failed.

  Not only add audio to a slide for use in the outputs of the HTML5?

  you get this error without any additional message if you try to compile forms 9.0.4.

• HTML5, text animation, swf object does not.  Know when it's available? (updated)

  I thought that captivate 7 includes many options for HTML5, most of the animation does not. text animation, swf. I'm really disappointed.

  Are you French? I tried to explain that Flash, SWF is not supported for HTML5 because he will be banned from all devices (except PC desktop and laptop). Text animations are also SWF. Sorry, but your question already proved that you are not only a beginner in Captivate, but in the world of SWF-HTML5.

• Under enter the text for the deletion of a text field

  Is it possible to have a form in Flash with text entry fields as the user full and have some sample text in the field, then when the user left clicks to type in their text the sample text disappears?

  I HAV looked at the various events but fails to work.
  
  It fills my text field (username) with guidance advising text to fill in the field. Currently when left clicked the field then they delete all the text in the sample before entering their own text. It seems like a simple idea but I've lived AS dictionary and searched old messages for something as cela, but cannot escape. This is one of those annoying last-minute client tweaks that I could really do with ironning outside.

  I do not remember if it is supported by Flash Player 6 or not, but if I remember correctly, I used to do it like this:

  I hope that you can use. And I would actually put the original text, so when the user is not this particular entry field I could reload the original text, perhaps even in a different color so that the user would knows he must fill in this field.

• When the scaling in the layout, 1st page prints correctly, but the following pages were not properly/too large for the paper, parts of text missing scale

  When you try to print in Firefox and when the scale to the size of the page in the page layout, the first page prints correctly, but the following pages do not scale correctly and are too large for the paper, with the parts of the text are cut off at top and right. It is not fixed by checking or unchecking the scaling / shrink to fit page width "ignore" in the print window, or by changing the scale percent.

  I am running Firefox 15.0.1, on Mac OS 10.5.8.

  The same problem happens in preview print and if I save the copy in a .pdf file

  I tried all the fixes in the how to and others in various forums with no improvement.

  This happens everytime I try to print a document from scaling upwards or downwards in Firefox.

  I note the bug has been fixed and should in Firefox 21 right now, it will mean the use night http://nightly.mozilla.org/

  Can someone tell me how to change the default color for the answers to my signature and email of the BLUE to BLACK?

  Currently, I don't see the option "format" each individual email response.  I don't know why the default color for the text and the signature is BLUE, but I would really change in BLACK.  Any help would be appreciated.

• Guidelines for the use of conditional text

  I'm looking for instructions on the use of conditional text. Our company has grown, and that the range of products has increased, the number of conditional text tags has increased. We are up to 30 tags and continues to grow. I was struck my colleague to start breaking this system a bit, because I'm afraid, it becomes a House of cards. Colleague has been 20 years and grew up with the system - it's the only one that it is used. He sees nothing wrong with it. The tags are in its abbreviation. When I mentioned that everybody don't would not new understand them, his response was that they would teach them eventually. Also, it's starting to get to the point where some sentences are be mislabeled, causing many errors.

  Are there guidelines I refer who say in the use of conditional text is too large so that it's not just my word?

  You might want to take a look at Matt Sullivan & Sarah O'Keefe book (edition Fundamentals - unstructured FrameMaker 11; Chapter 24) for some background information on the consequences of the use of the multiple conditional tags. Depending on what your choice (i.e. to hide or show content based on the condition tag), you can get in very complex situations with some items possibly requiring each combination of tags applied to prevent display (or display) as needed. Even with simple simple conditional tags, it can reach a very large number of unique tags required (mathematically, you are summing a series of combinations). For example, [as used in the Book], given a product in Light versions, Standard and Pro with specific online requirements & Print for Mac, Windows and Unix, there are 32 conditional tags applied correctly. If you have content that should appear in a few versions, it climbs easily up to 47 unique tags. You'd be better trying to herd a bunch of cats in a field of grass cat...

• Script for the use of rich text change

  I use the script below to add instructions for the use of Textfields. I would like to do the same thing with textfields in the rich text format, but this script no longer works when I put in the field to accept rich text. Can you tell me how to change the script, so it does not work in a ttext field that allows the user to enter rich text?

  Similar to your script above, but try this in the event enter:

  if (this.rawValue === this.assist.toolTip.value) {
            this.rawValue = "";
  }
  

  and then exit on the event:

  if (this.rawValue === null) {
            this.rawValue = this.assist.toolTip.value;
  }
  

  ALTER depending on the initialize event and formatting, etc.

  I just upgraded to the Presenter10. Everything seems to work fine, but I can't open the html5 output (either locally or on the web). I am stack with this screen:

  • Was published under the title 'the' (swf and html5)
    

  works only SWF

  • and the other only in html5
    does not open

  OK, here is the 'solution' of the Adobe Presenter Support:

  There is no work around. You can copy and paste all the slides in the new blank presentation. All the audio and sync-> you must do it manually. We cannot say this is a bug, when the function user conversion of a file created in an earlier version of the product in a newer version which is more enhanced and feature HTML5 has recently introduced PN 10, so it is kind of obvious, that you will face unexpected behavior. HTML5 was introduced recently in Presenter 10 and who was not present in earlier versions of the presenter.

• Best practices for the configuration of HTML5 and native connector at the same time.

  Is it possible to configure the HTML5 and native connector for my users? What would be the best configuration?

  The best way I found to do this is to create 2 web interface sites. one configured for native connector and one for HTML5. I put a URL in the message with a message center as "it is the site of native connector. Click on to HTML 5 ". A similar message with a URL to the site of native connector is on the site of HTML 5.

She had been removed, I would have seen the error and verified at the time of the.

  Unfortunately we had to migrate aggregators RSS FeedBurner consistency useful to FeedBlitz because that;

  (a) Google deprecated the FeedBurner APIs (such as support).

  (b). FeedBurner does not support aggregations for web connections secure.

  (c). FeedBurner does not provide the ability to produce secure streams.

  Fortunately, the flows are still available.  Just with different URLS (now at FeedBlitz).

  Could you please check the .fr file included in the project is set up correctly to compile and the compilation is successful with success for this file. You can quickly verify this by right-clicking on the file in VS .fr and check if the compilation shown option is indeed active and clicking Treaty the file successfully. If all this is correct, then the next step is to check the output created by this compilation, the path of the compiled files and the command-line merge_res.
