  You want to allow someone to open your document and fill in the form (the fields that you have created), but not change or edit the form, right? Here is the answer - assuming you use Acrobat Pro and someone will open the PDF with the Acrobat Reader 9 minimum and more:

  Tools > Protection > encrypt< encrypt="" with="">

  Select YES to change security.

  Opens in a new window:

  Do not select NOT open the Document (or will require a password to open the document.)

  SELECT: Permissions (check the box next to ' Restrict editing and printing of the document. ")

  Change the following 2 settings in the drop-down list box:

  Printing allowed: select high resolution

  Changes allowed: select commenting on, fill in the fields on the form and signature of signature fields
  Selected leave: "enable access text for playback devices to screen for people with visual impairments.

  Change password Permissions (insert a password)

  Leave all the other settings alone in 'Options '.

  OK - OK

  Again enter the Permissions password (the one you entered above)

  OK - OK

  Save the PDF file to apply security [notice that (SECURED0 will appear after the title of the document]

  Yes, there is a better way to do it without Reader Extensions.

  AJAX is not an option, because this is not supported by Adobe Reader.

  Here is the solution:

  Write that a REST based web or any Service Server Page that accepts the query string and meets the specified query string.

  Assume that a Page http://myserver.com/EmployeeDetails?EmpId=1234 server returns the details of the employee as comma-separated values.

  This page can be called from PDF using FormCalc

  the syntax is

  ResultField.rawValue = Get ("http://myserver.com/EmployeeDetails?EmpId=1234")

  EmpName.rawValue = ResultField.rawValue.split (",") [1];          Retrieve the name of the emp of result and fill in the field

  Note that if the page or the web service requires authentication, a basic authentication dialog box appears when you call this method.

  In order to better allow anonymous authentication for pages.

  I have implemented this approach in many projects and works very well.

  If I understand you correctly, once the patient record is created you branching to the next page (preoperative assessment form). First create a static hidden point in the form of patients *: PX_PATIENT_ID_COPY *.

  Create a process on submit after the calculation and validation patient form to get the inserted patient_id of patient table. Here's the code-

  SELECT patient_id into :PX_PATIENT_ID_COPY from patient_table where rownum=1
  
  order by patient_id desc
  

  I would not use the sequence to get the present value, because if the record inserted was removed from your patient table, the current value of the sequence would be invalid to find this record in the patient table.

  Basically when the inserted record, the process of getting the value and put into the hidden element.

  Pass the value of the item hidden on the next page by defining them in the direction of the page. Under the section of the Action in the branch of the page, set this items field type - *: PX_PATIENT_ID * (page the order of the day for patient_id). Type * & PX_PATIENT_ID_COPY.* in the with the field of these values. Make sure that include you the dot (.) after * & PX_PATIENT_ID_COPY *.

I spent many hours to fill the years because I have som 35000 tracks in my library. 2015 they was tgo is no longer possible to fill a date prior to 1600. Even worse: all already filled dates are missing.

  I ask reinstall the opportunity.

• How can I set up a form for a person to fill in the name of another person?

  I'm implementing a form in which a person is asked to fill out the form to someone else. Basically, we ask people if they are still our first contact. If they are, it is a confirmation of the simple blind shape. If they don't, ask them to please tell us who. While it will take them to a form where they can tell us who is the new contact. However, I do not want cookies for the new person to be assigned to the person who filled out the form (like who would mess then with segmentation, scoring lead / feed, etc.). We must also see who is the person filling out the form, so that we know which replaces the new person. So, we will need to collect the address name or email of the person filling out the form, in addition to the name and address of the person that they add email.

  I know that this is possible, as in a previous company, we have a form that has been used internally to add those who have called for requests for, so that we could catch them as 'submit a request' as if they had just completed a form. For example, I would like to fill out the form after someone requesting product information, but the online behavior of this person would not be attributed to me even though I filled out the form on my computer. Unfortunately, I don't remember how this was put in place. Does anyone have any ideas on how this could be adjusted upward?

  To do this, the easiest method is to set up two forms:

  1. The first form is your primary contact, who will submit to the secondary email address and additional contact information for the secondary contact. You can also include a field (hidden or not) for the primary contact if you want to record the activity of presentation of this form, but functionally, it is not necessary.
  2. A second form that will accept e-mail address of the secondary contact and any other contact information you want to capture through this process.

  The thing is that, once you have these two forms saved, you add a form processing step to the first form called Post data to the server. In this step, you fill in the details for the second form, including making sure to map the secondary e-mail address field on the formula 1 to the e-mail address field main form 2. The URL must be the action url POST for the secondary form, you can get the details of integration. You also need to add your SiteID and the form name and also a variable to disable cookies for this presentation (elqCookieWrite). The final URL should be something like this:

  • My organization is 1886, you will need to replace it with the code of your Site
  • My name of the secondary form is Alt2, so you have to replace with your name of secondary form
  • elqCookieWrite = 0 provides the secondary form will not attempt to associate the session with the ElqGUID (cookie)

  In the secondary form, make sure you have updated contact - form dataprocessing step.

  Now when submit form 1, you will see a presentation to both forms, and contact information submitted to form 2 creates a new contact (or updates an existing one) with no link with the course/session cookie used to submit the form 1. You can add these contacts to a shared list, enter them in a separate campaign or program or something else, you could do a presentation of normal form.

  One caveat to remember is that as this person has not submitted the form, you have collected not technically no permission to contact them, you need to set some rules will apply in your area (your use case seems to be for existing customers which is usually OK, but you should still check).

  I have a long form LCD with a button at the top that I use to fill in the form with the test data.  Then this button has a whole bunch of "rawValue = _" of statements.  But some of the fields in the form use global data binding, and the button won't just fill in these fields.  So, I always fill in these fields manually whenever I want to test.  Can someone tell me if there is a way around this?  Thanks for any help.

  Just figured out the answer myself.  The issue has been one of the issues being filled was a yes / no radio not button who was in command of "xfa.host.resetData" in it.  So whenever this radio button is checked, the function resetData will prepare the fields in this section, and then of course everywhere elsewhere due to binding global data.  I have removed the function resetData and the problem resolved.

  I have a PDF form that one of our employees has to be completed on a regular basis.

  There is a 'product' - text field, which is present on the form several times, which will contain the same information.

  From now on, my colleague has fill all these these one by one manually. But with the copy - paste, it doesn't take more than a few seconds.

  However, to facilitate work a little, I want to it to be able to simply fill out one of the fields (can be a specific, must not be dynamic) and all the other 'product' - fields automatically takes the value of the field of this first.

  How can I accomplish this?

  I noted the possibility of JavaScript controls.

  I am familiar with basic JavaScript, however never used it for PDF files.

  Any help and pointers would be appreciated.

  This isn't a problem with script. Just give each field of the same name. Once the field names are the same, a change in one will be to another. For some reason that it does not work with standard HTML forms, probably the reason why you ask.

  In my first tab, there is a field of the person and beside that there is a button called RESEARCH, my search button there is a trigger when you press the button, and there, I can see the code do_key (execute_query), when we pressed this button, then the values of the fields automatically fill.

  My question is I want to make 2 not database fields and the information on the basis of the other domain that is already full when you press the button. Can someone tell me what trigger should I use to fill my newly created filed on the basis of the field already populated...

  Try a process "After Header".

  Write your "select into", something like:

  Select login_data

  in: P1_LOGIN_DATA

  of apex_table

  where the...

  Of course your page P1_LOGIN_DATA Articles needs to exist.

  I also suggest writing your process (PL/SQL) as a PL/SQL block, then beginning by BEGIN and ending with the END. This gives you the ability to make exceptions...

  It will be executed before the page is rendered, but after on the parameters that you have (possibly) linked through another page (through a URL).

• FDF import fills all the fields

  We are trying to fill a PDF file with an FDF file, but does not all data. On the file PDF are validation javascript and dependencies on visibility controls.

  When fill us the document with Acrobat XI and export the data to a FDF and try to import this file the problem already occurs.

  Is this the cause of the problem as I hope, and is there a way to circumvent this problem, without having to remove all the javascript on all fields? Or y at - there a way to remove all scripts easily?

  Who can we help or point us in the right direction?

  You can set actions in the field using a FDF with a way including being JavaScript, but I think that it would be better first run a script like this and save the form modified for use with the importation of data from field. This script deletes all scripts that Validate and calculate all the text fields in the document and defines read-only:

  You can run this code from the console (Ctrl + J) JavaScript, or mouse event of a temporary button, etc. If you have other scripts, attached to events and other types of fields, modify the script to accommodate.

  Lets not talk about database right now, I just want to know how to take a variable in PHP, right in the form of livecycle designer.

  I've seen a lot of things like submitform() using http post, etc., but I can't make it work.

  If you want to fill in the LiveCycle Designer form, then you will need to go with the data file.

  The data file can be an XML file or a database or WebService.

  You can't fill out the PDF from a PHP script directly. Is what you can do, a LiveCycle process created in Workbench and then call the PHP application process information. The Livecycle process will merge the data with the model and the PDF back to the client application.

  There is another feature in Acrobat PRO you can import an XML file directly to PDF, but it's a manual work. You cannot link to a PHP Script.

  I create a request for rental of a local community centre which has a Hall and an area of land/land to rent. Most people only need 1 or the other, but sometimes they need both at the same time.

  On Page 1, I have 2 lots for rental costs: 'Hall_Rental_Fee' and 'Grounds_Rental_Fee '.

  In Page 3, I have 1 field called "rent".

  Is is possible to take the value of the full field of Page 1 and copy it to 'Rent' to Page 3, and if the two Page 1 fields are filled out, for total 2 fields and put this value in the field to the Page 3?

  Or is it totally impossible and I would just bring an extra field to Page 3 for the 2nd field?

  Any help is greatly appreciated.

  It's actually very simple. You can use set the field to page 3 to be the

  the sum of these two fields. If one of them is empty, its value will be

  considered equal to zero and therefore have no influence on the

  result. And if both are filled, the value will be the sum of them.

• Fill in the field based on the data entered in another field

  I'm working on a document that will have benefits at levels above prices. In the column below, there are individual fields for each of the services options. The cost of participation for these options will depend on what the monthly dues, which is the value entered in the upper part.

  Assuming that my range of monthly dues are $ 100, $125 and $150, I'm looking for a script that I can customize for each subsequent field that would, I'm assuming that do the following:

  • Get the value of the primary field "PlanBenefit01":
    • If the PlanBenefit01 value is "$ 100" enter "XXX"
    • If the PlanBenefit01 value is "$ 125" enter "YYY"
    • If the PlanBenefit01 value is "$ 150" enter "ZZZ"

  I guess it must be entered in the "properties > compute > custom calculation Script" as a recent alternative was the article for the field. If Yes please confirm. If not, kindly provide me with advice on where you want to insert this?
