• Need button to start a new page in the form

  This novice needs help in advanced techniques. The form has two main areas in which users must complete; a subform called HeaderSubform, where the user selects a box (drop-down menu field), into a goal of Campus (extensible text field) and the goal to reach the goal (another extensible text field). The second part is TableSubform, a nested under the HeaderSubform subform. It's a fluid table where users between the many actions to achieve objective the objective. Add a button in the row of the table adds more than lines in the table if necessary. The table can cover several pages. In my mind, I call these two subforms, the 'zone '. Below the table that I have an Add a new lens when you click on the button that adds a new 'area', the HeaderSubform and the nested TableSubform, so the user can select another area, and then add the new objective, the objective and the table. Now it all works perfectly, but he has a problem.

  Problem: Suppose that the user starts on page 1. As additional rows are added to the table, the table could end up at the bottom of page 2. When the user clicks on the Add a new goal button a second new 'area' is inserted, but the area menu drop-down and the field of the lens could be on page 2 and the objective area and new table could be on page 3. Basically, I need the new 'area', always start on a new page each time the button Add a new goal .

  An image of the hierarchy is attached, but in general this is how it is implemented:

  It shouldn't be too bad...

  Select the HeaderSubform and access the object palette and tab Navigation.  Add a conditional jump, but by clicking on the "Edit" button next to the word "Conditional" and then the sign + at the top of the window that appears.

  Choose the JavaScript language.  In the 'Condition' field, type this expression:

  this.instanceIndex > 0

  It's going to say "when this is true, make this page break," where a "conditional" page break.

  Select pause 'Before', and where it says "To", select "top of Page" in the drop-down arrow.

  Basically, what this will do is whenever the HeaderSubform is NOT the first, stick it on the next page.

• Page numbers need to change automatically when users add a new page to a form fillable

  In the headers and footers, I chose < < Page 1 of n > >. My form is a long page, but I have a button that allows you to create a second page if the user needs. However, if a user decides to create a second page, the footer does not '1 1' '1 of 2' on the first page and then "2 of 2" on the second page. "" Instead, the two say just '1 1'. How can I change this so that when users add new page, it changes the numbering?

• Video end action - load new page

  How can I create/add an end action to load a new page, once a HTML5 video played?  Basically having a menu, play videos full screen and the browser to return to the menu of the host/principal at the end of the video page.  Need to do this in a browser to a Terminal, not use DVD playback software so that I can remove the screen controls.

• Adding pages to form via JS and models. Stop the text to copy to the new page

  Hello community,

  In the last days, I was doing a crash course in Adobe acrobat and JavaScript. One of our clients asked us to make a PDF form with fields to fill and a button that will make a new copy of the form.

  I have text fields, model, and javascript for the button to load the model.

  My problem is that text in the fields on the first page is copied to the extra pages when they are made.

  I did a ton of research and found a lot of answerrs talk about having the renamed domain. I've included the part bRename to my JS, and text fields indicate that they are a differnet name, but he always pulls data from the first page.

  Here is the script I use. I'm also runing Acrobat X standard.

  You can reset the fields on the newly created page. All fields on the page will have the prefix "Pn", where n is the number of the newly created page. Since your code adds the page at the end, the code to reset the fields that you can use after the code that generates the model can be:

• Add a new page to a completed form 1

  I have a 4 page form that has been completed. Now, I need to add a new page 1 of the information in the text fields. When I insert a page, it is inserted into the last page. I then move the page in the hierarchy until the correct position and get 2 blank pages. When I try to delete the first, I told myself there is no subform if the page cannot be deleted and the command completes.

  I think I found the problem with the form... you can confirm...

  For the page / subform 'GuestSysAccessReq' you have selected 'Previous next', 'Place' on the paging tab. And the rest of the Pages / subforms you selected "top of Page" as the value for 'Place '. And once again at the end of the 'guidelines' page you have selected "Top of Page-> Page1" as the value for 'Place '.

  I've corrected all pages / subforms to have the same value for the 'Place' on the ground as "Top of Page-> page 1" and then I added a new page and I might be able to move the page to the first page in the hierarchy. He did not add an empty page... I enclose the frm changed in the forum for your reference...

• Why every new page I do suddenly appear in a website has become a popup? It's something new and a major PITA!

  It was that, when I clicked on a link in a Web page, a new page opens. Now, since the last update, nothing happens... THEN I see at the top of the page that Firefox has blocked a "popup". But these aren't popups, they asked new pages! To see them, I now allow all popups on almost all sites, which totally destroyed the value of the trainer because it allows pop up windows!

  I appreciate your efforts to protect us, but in fixing things that were not broken, you broke them.

  So please tell me how I can substitute your hotfixes without having to deal with 'em, whenever I click on a link in a Web site!

  (You also made it almost impossible to use any program that requires Java, but that's a topic for another thread!)

  Normally, the Blocker allows the actions triggered by the user. Certainly if you click on a link, it should not be blocked, unless there is something very strange about the link (for example, it is not a normal link but runs a very unusual script).

  Is it possible that you have installed an extension that changes how popup works block - or who joined popups to links? You can review and configure, disable, or remove extensions here:

  Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > addons > Extensions category

  Typically, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.

  Alternately, you could test mode without failure of Firefox. It is a standard diagnostic tool in order to avoid interference by extensions (and some custom settings). More info: questions to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode.

• printing of forms embedded in web page

  Hi all

  This is my first post and I need help.

  HP Officejet 8615

  Several doctors and dentists have forms on their web page for new patients complete nested.  I can't get these forms to print.

  I tried to print the form on the web page = unsuccessful.

  I tried to save the form on my desktop and printing = failure

  I run HP diagnostics and printed a test page correctly.

  My computer:

  Windows 7 Pro 64-bit with SP1

  3.00 gigahertz Intel Pentium G3220 processor

  6 GB OF RAM

  Adobe Acrobat 9.0 Standard, updated

  All the MS Security updates installed. Kaspersky Anti - Virus installed. Updated, returns clean scans.

  Malwarebytes Pro up to dated and back analyses.

  I have no problem with my computer or printer, but I can't get these nested forms to print.

  Any Suggestions?

  Ideas and thoughts on the subject...

  You mentioned the word 'Acrobat' - this makes me think that you're dealing with a PDF form?

  PDF format can be tricky.  The forms that look OK may or may not actually be something the printer can translate into the language of the printer and spit as actual print on a page.

  You could try to print the PDF as in Image - it is a proven method to print PDF files that can be stubborn and does not otherwise print.  See below...

  Check your PDF Viewer in your browser > Options

  If you get desperate and you can SEE the form you need on the screen, you can use Snip to take a screenshot of the form, save the file as an Image and print that.

  If you can get the saved format, regardless of the format, in Word format and then maybe save this Word in a new PDF file - and Word use built-in fonts - then you may be able, download the file to print.

• Redirect to the new page of pl sql / process page?

  Hello

  I'm working on a page with a form for users to download the data.  When you press the "submit" button, it runs a process Page.  After the process is complete (i.e., to insert a new record of DB) we need to create a branch to a new page with treatment notes (defined in the process).  I tried to save the notes to an item on the first page and then configure a branch that fires "to submit, after treatment...". ' and includes notes in the industry, setting the value of an item on the new page.  It works in part but seems to truncate the value of the notes.  Is there a limit to the length of the string that can be passed via a branch page?

  Or is there a better way to do it?  Maybe there is a way to branch directly in the process?  If so, it would be easier because I wouldn't have if all goes well define a page element, just to pass this value along to the new page.

  Agree with the suggestion of fac586:

  The value of the item on the new page can be defined directly in the process, or later without including the value in the branch (make sure that the direction is not clear the session state in the target page). Even better would be to give notes a structure to put them in a collection and displays them using a report.

  Here's how you can do if your process is PL/SQL:

• Adobe Form repeat subform each Page

  Hello Adobe Forum,

  I am a SAP user and creates a form Adobe (my first). I posted this in a SAP forum, but have yet to receive any comment whatsoever, so I thought that maybe it's better to go to the Adobe experts themselves. I have a problem with Adobe and am just spinning and spinning try different techniques to make it work. Advice would be greatly appreciated.

  In my content area, I have three subforms. The first subform is placed, the fields must be placed correctly. The second subform is basically a header table for the subform third, i.e. the data lines. Subforms all three are enveloped in a subform that is transmitted.

  Why would you do it like that? Well, the table in the third subform has levels of control so he merges as well this way lines, when the first lines of the column are the same...

  

  So the first page of my document would look like this... which is what I want.

  

  H is repeated for each page. So it is on the master page. It's easy.

  1 the "subheader" and should be on the first page. This method works.

  2 looks like a header for the table, but it really is it's own table due to formatting requirements and values are dynamic. It of pretty, but appears only in step one.

  3 is the data table. It works very well also.

  Page look great. Page two looks like this... I can't part 2 above repeat for each new page.

  

  I tried many approaches, but nothing seems to work. I have really need to stick with the levels of control and which prevent me from having a beautiful table with a header that repeats. Maybe I approached him fundamentally wrong?

  Here is my layout in case that helps to explain my problem at all. I really appreciate any help, it's the last hurdle in my form and then it's done. I don't know that a seasoned Adobe person can quickly see the err in my ways.

  Not a solution, I'm very attached, but it works. I created a second page and put the table on the master page header it and down a bit of the content area. I would still force the subform to simply repeat, but I have to go.

• Need a way to clear a form on the current page and not the entire form...

  IM new to Adobe Acrobat and worked on the conversion of some of our OmnForm 5.0 form PDF file, I've created a form that contains a button to clear the form.  It works very well!  Now, I created a template in the PDF of the current page and then created a button to spawn a new page of the model.  Creating the page works as well.  The only problem I have is that the clear form button clears the entire form.  I need the key to erase only the current page.

  I'm a relative newbie when it comes to script.  I can understand generally simple scripts when I see them, but to create new groupings still isn't my forte. HE's researching the resetForm method, but it seems that there is no option to move the current page to him? (As I said I am relatively new to java scripts).  If anyone has the directions on how to do it I would be very happy.

  I have 4 pages my_form, works very well. Now, my new requirement is as below,

  (1) add a new page in the interval of 2 & 3, says new page name is NEW_PAGE_2.5

  (2) bring / move to a subform (for example, his name is my_subform) of PAGE_2 to NEW_PAGE_2.5

  Here my_subform has a lot of areas, its about 60 flds, all are drop-down lists

  Just in the test environment, what I did is, I selected the my_subform on PAGE_2 and dragged to NEW_PAGE_2.5 fallen here, pls. Let me know is safe? the next steps I need to do (I am aware that there is a script object with the function at the level of my_subform and couple of validations of the small, I'll check if they r in good shape or not)

  Yes you can move the objects on the form, Yes, you will need to update your scripts.

  You can also try to use the following...

  The target "_blank" opens a new browser on the top of the form with
  the URL specified in the first argument. The original browser is always
  running with the form behind the new browser. Development may be postponed and
  between the two browsers with the mouse.

  The goal of '_top' place of the new URL in the current browser, but displays
  on top of all the frames that have been put in place. For example, if an HTML element
  page is divided into two frames with the running form on the chassis of the left hand,
  and if the form publishes a WEB site. Call SHOW_DOCUMENT using the target "_top"
  the new URL takes all the HTML page, not only the framework of the left hand.

  Finally, the target of "_parent" replaces the parent or frameset window with
  the URL. It displays on top of all executives who have been implemented, a large part
  as does the "_top". If the reference is in a window or a top-level frame,
  It is equivalent to the target "_self".

  I guess this would be a checkbox.  I am looking for a way to create a user, select Create a new page when the user runs out of space in the text box that is given.  So if possible is a way to create a new page with a text box continuous when the user selects create it a new page check box.  Thank you.

  Yes, if you create a new page in the designer of the LC (page 2) and deselect the number of minutes, so that when the form is displayed at the start, it is not an instance of the page. While the click event of the button would be:
