printing of forms embedded in web page

Hi all

This is my first post and I need help.

HP Officejet 8615

Several doctors and dentists have forms on their web page for new patients complete nested.  I can't get these forms to print.

I tried to print the form on the web page = unsuccessful.

I tried to save the form on my desktop and printing = failure

I run HP diagnostics and printed a test page correctly.

My computer:

Windows 7 Pro 64-bit with SP1

3.00 gigahertz Intel Pentium G3220 processor

6 GB OF RAM

Adobe Acrobat 9.0 Standard, updated

All the MS Security updates installed. Kaspersky Anti - Virus installed. Updated, returns clean scans.

Malwarebytes Pro up to dated and back analyses.

I have no problem with my computer or printer, but I can't get these nested forms to print.

Any Suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Ideas and thoughts on the subject...

You mentioned the word 'Acrobat' - this makes me think that you're dealing with a PDF form?

PDF format can be tricky.  The forms that look OK may or may not actually be something the printer can translate into the language of the printer and spit as actual print on a page.

You could try to print the PDF as in Image - it is a proven method to print PDF files that can be stubborn and does not otherwise print.  See below...

Things that are PDFS:

PDF file do not print

Quick fix | Print PDFS into image. Acrobat, Reader

PDF file print (2)

Check your PDF Viewer in your browser > Options

Example of

Firefox > tools > Options > Applications >

Portable Document format (PDF) > select use Adobe Reader

Adobe Reader download

===================================================

If you get desperate and you can SEE the form you need on the screen, you can use Snip to take a screenshot of the form, save the file as an Image and print that.

Snipping Tool - Windows 7

Snipping Tool Windows 8.x

If you can get the saved format, regardless of the format, in Word format and then maybe save this Word in a new PDF file - and Word use built-in fonts - then you may be able, download the file to print.

You can automate using the Greasemonkey extension and a userscript.

After installing Greasemonkey, a monkey icon should appear in the bar of the add-on. When you are on the page that you want to change, click on the little drop-down menu and choose new user script change the URL so that it will match all your checks and add an asterisk (*) at the end (this option is also available in the Tools menu; ALT + t to see if necessary.)

You can choose any text editor as your code editor. Then add above the line of code below the block of metadata automatically inserted. It should be applied automatically when you reload the page.

  • Photosmart HP: HP Photosmart printer will not print anything other than a Web page

Someone please help.  I'm so frustrated right now.  My printer has stopped printing another thing than Web pages.  If I try to print a word document, there is nothing to print.  She acts like it is printing but nothing goes on paper.  If I try to print a pdf file... I got the text, but for most of the lines of the text.  The only thing I can print now is Web pages.  It is zero logic.  I have reset the printer. I unplugged the printer.  I deleted the printer.  I have readded the printer.  I tried almost everything what I found on these sites and nothing works.  I noticed it would not print this past Sunday and I finally had the time to watch tonight and I can't fix it.  I thought I ran out of ink or something, but these are all fresh cartridges and the printer test works.  Also, as I've shared it it will print Web pages.  Just nothing else that me is not good when working on papers for my master's program.  Help!

    Hello @sdock,

It is a great place to get help! I read your post and see that you cannot print of all applications on the Mac, but you can print a self test and on the web. I want to help you solve this problem.

I tabled this document with a few additional steps that you can try to solve this problem: "Printer offline" or "Printer not responding" Message (OS X).

Let me know what printer you have and the type of connection, if you have any additional questions.

You can click on the "accept as a Solution" If the problem is resolved and the 'Thumbs Up' for my effort. Please hold me. Good luck!

  • print the contents of the web pages of android Tablet

When I try to eprint from a web page, the web address line prints very well (with a bass line which reads: "sent from Samsung tablet"), but nothing about the content, even if print all preview shown on the page that I needed. Help, please!   The content of the web pages is an attachment and if so, how do I get an attachment to print?

    Hi TurboLady,

Thank you for the update.  I appreciate it.  You read the document.

The best way to print the content of the site is to print the web page using the browser in the HP ePrint app.  Please download and install the shop HP ePrint from the play of Google Mobile app . For reference, I have included the HP ePrint Mobile App FAQ document.

Please let me know how it works for you.

  • HP 1217 starts printing VERY slowly. A web page took 15 minutes to start printing!

My HP1217 takes a LONG time to start printing. A web page took 15 minutes. A 5-page report took 10 minutes.

That this has something to do with the pages visited on the computer? My computer is about 4 years old. It isn't real fast, but is not true slow either. It runs Windows 7.

    Any guidance on this?

I can do something for this speed?

Wow! I have reinstalled drivers, restarted the computer, restart the printer, and it seems to work perfectly. Maybe it was the drivers...

  • Does not print unless I refresh the web page of the printer

Photosmart Premium CN503A with iMac OS 10.7.2.  Driver deleted and reinstalled through system preferences > print and scan.  The printer made a kind of upgrade software wireless this week.  (However, the problem before this event).

The printer, close the iMac and the router does not work for print orders.   The print queue log shows that the printer is connected, but the jobs do not print.  Finally, without printing, the connection returns to idle.  I can get the printer to answer by clicking printer setup > Show printer web page.   Stop the printer and I must refresh the web page several times before the printer has finally complete the work.

I am very disappointed by this printer.

We will restore the print system:

-Go to System Preferences > Print & Fax
-Right (or control) click in the rectangle listing your printers and select Reset Printing System.
WARNING - This will remove ALL your printers!
-Select the sign more to add a printer. Search for the printer, select it, and wait until the button 'Add' becomes available. Until it clicks.

  • Cannot print e-mail messages and web pages

    2 problems:

    (1) I use Windows 7 and Windows Live Mail, and a printer Samsung: recently, I have been unable to print emails.  I had to copy the e-mail message, and then paste it into a Word file and then print the Word file.

    (2) when I try to print a web page, nothing prints, and I get the error message: "there was an internal error and Internet Explorer is unable to print the document" I can't see the web page when I select print preview mode, but it will not be printed.

I would be very happy to help these printing problems.

    Thank you

After following your instructions, I always had the same problem - could not print, e-mail and pages of the site.  Then I started thinking that maybe there was a problem with my printer (Samsung ML 2950 series).  So I uninstalled my printer driver and then reinstalled with updates from the Samsung.  Now I can print emails and web pages.  Once I knew that the problem was not due to Windows Live, the next step was to focus on the software of the printer.  Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

  • Passage of variables of form to another web page?

I have a screen to select the simple parameter that calls another web page. When I ask the variable of the form in the page of detail (request.form ("app_sts")), the values are always empty. I looked at this for hours and can't get it to pass data. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance. Steve

The code for setting program and retail prgram is attached:

You have your method of the form to POST. If you want to pass variables, you need to change the GET method.

  • SME by embedding into Web page

Hi, I was experimenting to add rich media end animations for Web Blackberry sites.

Unfortunately, SME does not appear in the object tag that I placed on the Web site: http://www.xs2theworld.com/jw/xs2.html

When I connect directly with my "BOLD" for the small business, it works: http://www.xs2theworld.com/jw/xs2.pme

I've also never seen an example of an SME in a Web site, although it is mentioned in the docs of Blackberry that it should work. Someone at - it a trick?

    With sincere friendships.

    Jan Willem

    Hi Jan,

To incorporate a small business file correctly, you must make sure that a MIME type that is named 'application/x-vnd.rim.pme' is configured on your web server for file types ".pme", and you reference this MIME type of the OBJECT element in your page content.

Here's an example of how you can define your OBJECT tag:

    http://www.xs2theworld.com/jw/xs2.pme" type="application/x-vnd.rim.pme">

  • How do associate you a PDF form to a web page?

I HAVE THREE PDF FILES THAT I want to link to a page of my web site. I LOOKED UNDER ALL THE LISTS drop-DOWN MENU and don't see any reference to this subject. Is there someone who can explain to me the process?

Link you to them in the same way link you to any other page.

    Mode code:

    In designer view:

Select the text you want to turn it into a link.

Insert > hyperlink, then point to your pdf file.

  • Computer Windows XP will not print web pages.

    original title: IMPRESSION of NIGHTMARE

IM ON XP; MY PRINTER DOES NOT PRINT WEB PAGES, IVE TRIED BU (PRINT FULL SCREEN), IT SHOWS ONLY A PAGE OF A4 INTO TWO HALVES SEPARATE PORTRAIT. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP.       PS IT PRINT IMAGES OKAY.

Web pages are intended to be displayed in a web browser, not printed.  Depending on how the designer of the web page was coded, a web page may or may not print in a useful way.

There are various utilities that can help.  For example, if you have a recent version of Adobe Acrobat (not Reader), you will have a tool to "convert web pages to PDF" in the context of Internet Explorer (v. 6 and later versions) and some versions of Firefox.

  • Paper to print web pages

Impossible to print the paper copy of the web pages of IE10 on my officejet pro 8600 printer wireless (Wi - Fi).  It will allow me to print to a PDF file, fax.  Before that I could with IE9 and a J6480 officejet which was connected via an Ethernet cable at the time.  I can print anything else (word, excel, e-mail, etc.) with the exception of my browser.  I press the file > print > select printer (Officejet pro 8600 (network)), and then print.  Some of my web pages have a button print a Page, and even that does not work.  My OS is Windows 7

I put the program (IE 10) to run as an administrator, even if I am logged on as administrator! Right-click on the IE icon on the taskbar, right click on Internet Explorer, click Properties, on the shortcut tab, click Advanced, and then check on run as administrator. Now, I have no problem to print now. Problem solved.
