Format of the region of the art disappeared in the iOS 10

There used to be a setting under general-> language & region-> region Formats: Advanced where I could put according to the language in which a date, time and number of currency should be displayed. This setting has disappeared and will allow me more English as a language main iOS have yet show dates, numbers, time, and local currency according to my French Canadian criteria (i.e. international standards).

For example, I get:

Tuesday, September 13, 2016 instead of Tuesday, September 13, 2016

$1 instead of $ 1 234,56 234,56

4,567.89 instead of 4 567,89

I was able to get both is 24 hour format under the Date & time pane, but since the update to iOS 10, we can define more formats on one language other than the iPhone's main language as the latest versions of authorized iOS. Why!

No doubt Apple forget it or have chosen to abandon it. Really a terrible decision as I had used for years to have my tongue of device in English language, region in Dutch und under advanced as language also Dutch. If Ha d had the days of week and months in Dutch.

  • format of the clock after upgrading to IOS 10

After the upgrade to IOS 10.0.2on my iphone 6 s the clock passed using two points using a format point.

Language and region are still like before upgrade: Norway.

I tried to change in various other regions which, to my knowledge, uses the same format of the clock, but there is still a point. Is there another way to change this?

    Hi, ferdinanden!

Thank you for reaching out by Apple Support communities. From your post, I understand that your clock is not displayed as expected in the iOS 10. Rather than see a colon, showing time as 07:32, you see just one point, displaying the time as 7.32. I would be happy to offer help!

There could be a few different things going on to cause this, and change your region has been a great first step to understand that and fixing it. Given that this did not help, try the following steps. Before you start, use this article to create a backup of your iPhone: How to back up your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch

    1. Replace it with another under settings > general > language and region. See if that allows you to adjust the way in which the clock is displayed. If so, revert to the language of your choice and see if she spends exactly the point again.
    2. Make sure that the value is automatically enabled under settings > general Date & time
    3. Restart your iPhone by following the steps here: restart your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch
    4. Reset your iPhone settings in settings > general > reset > reset all settings. This will not delete your personal data (such as your photos/videos, contacts, calendar of events, etc.) but it can reset it customizable settings (as the wallpaper / brightness, alert sounds/ringtones, the Date and time settings, etc.) to their default values. It will also remove saved passwords and Wi - Fi networks and all previously used settings APN or VPN.

  • MAC OSX 10.9.5: what is this strange file format in the open dialog box?

    Hi all.

I had never really noticed this, but I saw a rather unusual format in the dialog box open and I was wondering why it appeared she did. It appears in the file/open dialog box as follows:

    Screen Shot 2015-04-29 at 8.59.44 am.png

To be completely transparent, I had posted this image on my Twitter feed at @illustrator. Since then I have been in contact with Scott, but the Council was to reinstall Illustrator. If this had happened on a single machine, I would rather agree that this can do something, but since the discovery of this unusual format, since saw him on six Mac OS 10.9.5 and illustrator version 18.1.0 18.1.1

Can anyone else confirm that they see the same thing; or if there is a difference, that this format is actually. I suspect it's a bug but need confirmation by other users.

This is the plugin automatic activation suitcase. I turn it off and the odd file format disappeared. Means also my previous comment on past on machines WITHOUT the plug-in was incorrect, and I can confirm that after having double-checked the machine without a suitcase.

  • USB formatted on the windows computer and then loaded with the IOS El Capitan files does not work on the Windows computer

I tried to format a usb drive on my iMac home for use on a Windows computer. I tried to format it on the iMac with El Capitan and format on the Windows computer, but with the same question.  The files are corrupted and do not function correctly on the Windows computer at work.  The files are a combination of audio files and writing.  Is there a way to overcome this problem.  When I used earlier versions of IOS are not usability issues.

iOS is for iPhones and iPads, but you also state El Capitan, so I guess that's what you're talking about.

There are a lot of audio formats, many writing programs, so it is quite difficult to determine if this is a problem of format of file or a problem of disc format.

Even if it's an mp3 player, wmv or any other file extension, there are more for the 'format' of an audio file of the extension.

These designations are just wrappers that contain audio information. Audio information can be encoded in a variety of different formats and still be an mp3 or wmv. An mp3 player that plays on Windows cannot play on a Mac due to using a codec that is not installed on the Mac. Apple recently purged the operating system of older, obsolete codecs. As a general rule, VideoLan VLC can play most audio and video files on Mac and Windows.

Were what type of writing files? Word, Pages, TextEdit,...?

  • How to pass in HTML format in the compose window

I have normally compose messages in plain text and sign them digitally. However, on occasion, I would like to include a photo, so I want to switch to HTML format. The only way I found to do this is to change the account setting before inserting a composition window. I'd rather go to HTML for just this message, and do it from the compose window. Have a missed a feature that makes it somewhere?

Hold down the SHIFT key when you click on write, reply, or forward, and the format of the message will be opposite the one defined in the account settings.

If HTML is the default, you can change the Format of delivery under Options in the entry window, but you can't do the same thing if the default is plain text.

  • Is an mp3 player or how to turn the audio book format diminishes the quality of the mp3?

For some reason any two albums I've bought off iTunes and uploaded to iTunes without problem onto my iPhone. I turned them in audio book format. The quality of the file is important. I think they are in 320 Kbps. This quality will decrease once in an audio book format?

N ° you are simply changing the file extension.

If you're worried, try it first on a copy.

  • XML format for the export of result set by the user

    Hello

I would like to export my entire test sequence results in a new XML file. The format of the XML file is given and fixed.

My first attempt was to create a LabView VI to export data in XML format.

I read that there is no way to set the format with the standard version of LabView. But I have a suspicion that there is an upgrade so I can set the XML format by myself.

Does anyone know what update I need?

Or did someone knows how to export XML in a different way?

    Thanks for your help!

You're right that the current implementation does not do.

    You have two options:

    1. create your own plugin that analyzes your resultlist and generates the XML file

    2. create something late MainSequence which analyses the resultlist and generates the XML file

It depends on the scope of your project.  If there is one thing to type 1 and then option 2 would be easier.  If it's something, you use through multiple tests and then I'd go with Option 1.

In both cases, you must go to analyze thorugh the results list and generate code for XML.  I recommend keeping the algorithm in TestStand to browse the resultlist.  It is much easier and simpler.  Simply create a sous-suite that does and pass the list of results.

    Kind regards

  • 5132: "the format of the string is not supported.

    Hello

I'm listening channels of my new USB-5132 on the disk at the same time, using the c# example "scope: live stream To Disk.  I entered "0:1" (without the quotes) in the channel name box.  The result is the error "the format of the string is not supported.  Is there another syntax or example that will allow me to broadcast two channels of 5132 on disk?

    Thank you

    Penny

    Hi Penny,

    Channel string syntax

If you try an empty string or a string separated by commas (as in "0.1") do you still see this error?

What version of NOR-SCOPE do you use?  You can find it in Measure & Automation Explorer under software.

Also, I would be interested to know if you have other devices (besides the 5132) which show the same behavior.

  • How can I change the data format of the digital display of the digital meter?

I created a screen that uses digital counters to display data.  Each meter has its visible digital display so that the user can see the level accurately.  I have changed the format of the data from the meter to 2 digits of precision and want to display to have the same format, but there seems to be no way to do it.  The digital display is locked to 6 significant figures, which will be confusing for my users.  I know that this was possible in previous versions of LabVIEW, but was somehow lost to 8.6.1 and 2009.

I am aware that I could do some "work-arounds" with channels or replacing the digital screens with digital indicators, but it is not acceptable.  How can I change the properties of digital signage?

    Hi AEI_JR,

on the Properties dialog box, when you set the display format of the counter, you will find a switch to choose between 'Digital' (the default) and "digital display"...

  • Format of the crop sensor / subject remotely / calibration full AOV equivalent framework

While using the crop sensor format, how can we adjust the distance of subjects to have the same field of view (AOV) in return, full frame, assuming that the current focal length in use has already been evaluated in order to take into account the standard of 35 mm film? I have the EOS Rebel SL1.

    character_stops wrote:

Yes. I'm sure that the camera I have is the smallest format. That's why I think I need to experiment with several lenses to see how everyone reacts. I think that the format of my camera is 2 x 3, but I'm not completely sure.  After my image size more great cameras in Ps, I chose a preset of the photo, and it converted to 2 x 3 inches. Would this mean a culture factor much more than 7.5?

Do not confuse "cropping" in Photoshop with the "culture lens/sensor factors" for your camera.

Photoshop (and many other software image) have a number of current relationships preset image for purposes of culture aspectg. Choice 2:3 in Photoshop will make the area of the whole image that is produced by your camera. Then, you can resize a number of common paper sizes... 4 x 6 inches, 6 x 9, 8 x 12 inch and 12 x 18 (or 13 x 19) inch... that all share the same images of proportions.

If you choose rather the proportions 4:5 in the truncation of software tool, some of the longest axis of the image will be deleted off the coast, but you can then resize the image to fit other common paper sizes such as 4 "x 5", 8 x 10 inch, 16 x 20 inches.

There are also a few formats of common paper who don't exactly conform to one pre-defined aspect ratios, for example 5 x 7 inch and 11 x 14 inches. These are somewhere between the two.

Your camera has a ratio of 2:3 (not 2 x 3). This has been fairly uniform among the 35mm film SLRs and was postponed to digital, too (for the large part... There are a few exceptions). The actual size of your camera sensor is approximately 15x22mm. The so-called "full frame" cameras also have a 2:3 format... is about the actual size of their 24x36mm sensor.

In other words, the same proportion (IE ' side short vs long side ") is possible in different sizes (both in the sensor format or the movie... and printing of paper sizes). Don't worry too much on this subject the reference to large format... Which seemed to have been mentioned just to demonstrate that there are all kinds of "lens factors" that you can get caught up in the calculation, but this does not really much.

Focal length does not change. 50mm is 50mm no matter what.

But a 50mm lens on a format behaves differently than it does on another format. On your camera with sensor 15x22mm is a 50mm focal length lens acts as a nice "short telephoto.  Put the same focal exact on a digital point-n-shoot which has a very small sensor and it can behave as a very powerful, long telephoto.  If not, put this same 50mm on a digital camera to 'full frame' and it will act as a 'standard' lens (that is, not wide or Telephoto). Or, put this same 50mm on a camera film of medium format, which has an image 60x70mm area and this will be a lens wide angle. Finally, put it on a film camera of large format as a 4 x 5 (... equal to approximately 100x125mm inches) and the same focal length of 50 mm behaves like an extreme wide-angle.

You say you have a kit lens... I guess it's a zoom. Probably an EF-S 18-55mm lens and an EF-S 18-135mm lens. You also have a 50mm 'first' (not a zoom) EF lens. If you set the zoom EF-S 50mm it will give exactly the same angle of view as the lens EF 50 mm Prime. The only difference is that the EF-S lens is specifically designed for smaller sensor cameras, while the EF lens is designed to give an image circle large enough to cover the area from a towards full frame camera.

Yes, it is true, because they do not need to produce as big a circle frame EF-S or "cultures only" lenses designed for use on small photo sensor can be smaller in size, lighter and less expensive than the lenses made to cover the full frame sensor image area.

If your kit lens is a 18-55mm, on your camera that provides a variable angle of view ranging from the wide-angle moderate standard to short telephoto. If it's a 18-135mm kit lens, which gives a little wider TV, a moderate telephoto.

    I hope that makes sense!
