Format QuickTime exports with the wrong project settings.

Hey there.

I have a problem when exporting mov. files. Basically what is happening, it's that my project settings (exposure, color balance, shadow / highlights) are not the same after exporting they are in a project. They seem to have some changes applied, but they are significantly reduced. I checked the export with different format and it works fine.

My settings are:

-QuickTime format

video codec - Motion JPEG A

quality - 100

Cadence - 25 fps

Firstly, the field Type - low

I need to keep this format and codec, unfortunately, so here is what I can do to apply the settings of my project?

Any help will be greatly appreciated, because I spent my whole day trying to find an answer.

Kind regards.

  • PE4 file export giving the wrong field order

In PE4, when I run the file - export with the following parameters:

    General/File Type: Microsoft DV AVI

    Video/compressor: DV PAL

Key and record/field image: first high-field

It creates AVI OK, but GSPOT watch the AVI is lower field first, not upper-field first as specified in the settings.

Why?  Is this a bug or selecting DV force LFF (If Yes, then why isn't the UFF option grayed out in the settings?).

What I'm trying to do is to create some small side projects as AVI, which will be finally import into a comprehensive final project.  The source files for the subprojects are mpgs from a HD camcorder, to make them high-field first (UFF), and so I use the PAL Harddisk predefined project which is expected to be the source files UFF.

Since my final project will include UFF mpgs and these subprojects AVI, I ask to be UFF also, so that I don't have to reverse selectively field orders etc.

    Is this wrong?

    Thank you

    Dave

Yes, Premiere Elements will take care of the order of the fields when exporting to DV - AVI format, if you use a video of the UFF in the preconfiguration of the UFF «Hard disk, Flash memory camcorder» project

  • all my prints are coming out with the word 'project '.

I use an iMac with Mac OS 10.6 (snow leopard).

I to printers connected by wi - fi: Office Jet Pro 8500 has more and LaseJet CP1525nw color.

With the 8500 has more each impression is correct.

But with the CP1525nw, each print comes out with the word 'PROJECT', no matter the settings (the option "watermark" is already 'OFF' on the print settings, etc.).

This happens not only with the microsoft office for Mac (Word or Excel), but all prints (for example, work online with my bank account, if I chose to print a statement, he will come out with the word "PROJECT". Even if I save it in PDF format and open the PDF file using the preview or any other PDF reader, it always come out with the word "PROJECT").

How can I solve this problem?

  • Impossible to debug the example provided with the SDK projects

    Hey there.
Just recently I started learning the SDK AE. After reading the first two pages of the Guide to the software development kit, I decided to try to build/debug examples of projects in visual studio.
I tried with the model project "Skeleton" and with the "Resizer effect" project, but the two I can't seem to make it work.

I set the environment variable AE_PLUGIN_BUILD_DIR for the correct path, and I also made sure visual studio debug using AfterFX.exe
However, if I try to launch the visual studio debugging (F5)... nothing happens. After effects opens, but nothing happens after that.

I checked my output log and... Well well full of messages like:

Can someone tell me what I'm missing?

Well, it is normal that if you launch AE in the debugger, nothing different happens if you launch AE normally. Which means that you must create or load a project and apply your plugin, so you can stop in the debugger (unless you want to catch global initialization, which is made on the loading of the program).

With regard to the PDB messages in the journal, which is quite ok, as the Adobe dll plugin obviously would not come with debug information.

The plugins you've compiled are born actually in the correct path? They are available in the menu effects in AE? It is the first thing to check, because when there is not this plugin, debugging is not available :-)

I interpreted your question so that your .aex files are actually present and visible on EI, you just can't break into the debugger when one of them is used.

So for your plugin, you must make sure that it contains debug information, otherwise you will not be able to debug.

Please check the following settings for your project in Visual Studio:

"C/C++" - "Debug Information Format" value "Program Database"

"C/C++ - preprocessor"-"Preprocessor Definitions" string contains the "_DEBUG" set

"C/C++ - Code generation '-'Runtime Library' is defined is ' / MTd ' or ' / MDd" (this is the most common error when unable to debug!)

' Linker - debugging - 'generate debugging information' set to 'Yes "".

    Hello

  • The rendering is essential prior to export with the SOUL?

    Hello guys!

My sequence has red and yellow lines. This means that I have to go to the preview. I don't want to make because I don't know the result in preview (I did the same thing with other projects)

She must be rendered prior to export with the SOUL or not?

I don't know, but once I forgot to make the effect of stabilization of deformation and the blue line appeared on my images...

    Hi Yiotal,

You shouldn't have to make before you export a project either through the integrated version or autonomous of the SOUL.  If you got a blue line in your film, this must be a bug in PP/SOUL.  I got errors, export projects when using the AE projects related, so output bugs exist.

Rendering is for smooth playback when editing (especially the clips with a red bar.  Any decent system will well with the yellow bars).  Even if you make everything before exporting it, never use make files in the output (i.e. make sure that the "Use Previews" checkbox is disabled).  I did some tests and the quality of the image you get when you work with files of rendering is less.

    I hope this helps!

  • Try to export images to the h.264 format, but trouble with the heavy compression artifacts. Help please!

    Hey there,
I'm trying to export my short 10 min of Premiere Pro in the codec h.264 for Vimeo and Youtube. The problem is that whenever I try to export, there are some heavy compression artifacts in the exported file. For most pixelation and sound/colournoise. I have no idea where it comes, as I tried even to export an uncompressed avi, and then import it's an avi to export such as H.264, once again, nothing has changed. The artifact occurs on clips of same each time and disappear for the duration of the clip as well, really weird!
    Any help is appreciated!

I downloaded the video compressed with the objects here: heavy in first Pro CC 2014 - YouTube compression artifacts is a good example to: 03:59

Otherwise I could export to Final Cut Pro X, but I can't import the AVI, suggestions?

Do you use the youtube preset for h.264 for encoding?

If this is not the case, try it.

you use "use previews" when encoding?

    If so, try without preview.

    What bitrate do you use?

you will get more detailed and faster, help if you explain your more detailed export settings.

  • The aid project settings

I work for a construction company, and we were filming some of our own images for the security training.

We have an online training site where employees follow security courts, and the format that our videos must be in this Web site is flash.

I was wondering what my project settings should be when I create a new project in first?

I kept the default for DV-NTSC standard, but looking at some of our final flash videos, they are not the best quality. This has something to do with the project settings, or is it just the quality of the images we upload (some of the DV tape, some from a digital camera) and what we export as?

I'm used to DV-NTSC, because that's what I've used in the past when I took a class news where we have exported everything on tape for use in our newsletter (because it was for television).

But as everything we do is on the computer, I wonder if I should choose a different setting... If it would make a difference in quality.

The parameters of the project should be based on the format of the images I'm importing? (as I said, we use a DV tape, or digital files from a flip camera... so what settings should I use for them?)

Advice/tips would be appreciated! Thank you!

I choose one and stick to it.

The old band miniDV camera will produce images (with screenshot), pre can be used perfectly, for a NTSC DV (SD) project.

The new camera will produce images that has a higher resolution, because it is HD and instead of Capture (as you mention, in real time), you will import only the images. With later versions of pre, there should be a Preset Flip/Mimeo, which should work fine.

I would not mix images, but it seems that you are trying to do and that they are just trying to choose a camera and stick to it for each project. I would try that Flip images/files in a project Flip/Mimeo and judge the quality of output. Do not use this film in an NTSC DV (SD) project, but one is designed for the Flip camera.

While Sony has probably the best glass (can be very important), SD (Standard definition), so is not only about 1/4 of the resolution of the Flip, with glass of lower quality. This increased resolution could make up the difference of glass, in general terms. For videos on safety, could never see the differences in lenses of these two cameras, but test for yourself, with the good Preset for each camera.

    Good luck

  • How to choose the right project settings?

I am new in taking video and modifying them. I bought a Sanyo Xacti HD camcorder and a lot of clips in my last trip. The clips are transferred to my count and have the format. Depth of MP4 1280 - 720 1280 and 29.97 frames per second.

I want to create after having been released on DVD I can show on my TV 16:9 (PAL Netherlands)

When I create a new project, I choose the seetings and I don't really know how to choose!

Should what project settings I choose in the settings I see that 30 fps under NTSC systems. Is there somewhere a general explanation how?

    Help will be very appreciated!

    Greetings Willem

Before the NTSC in PAL, I think that there are other major considerations.

    1. you save the 16:9 720 p 30 1280 x 720 at 30 frames per second, using the MPEG-AVC/H.264 codec). Seems to me you are dealing with what they call "AVCHD Lite". If so, there are major problems of basic editing in first Elements 7. See the FAQ of Steve Grisetti

    http://forums.Adobe.com/thread/454585?TSTART=0

    2. your comments suggest that you want to create the widescree of DVD-VIDEO (16:9) of your timeline.

    3. so, first and foremost, I would determine if you can successfully bring your video in Elements 7 first and export the DVD-VIDEO in NTSC system, before thinking on the conversion of a video NTSC a PAL end product.

    4. as a general rule, you select the preset of the project (new project dialog box) to match the properties of your video. Once done this will not stop you changing predefined export later. In the case of your NTSC by Sanyo 720p30 video, I suggest the project (new project dialogue box) = NTSC HDV HDV 720p30 preset. Think the project defined by default as a template from which you can edit your video. Although this 720 p is a variant of AVCHD, I would suggest the HDV category since there is no preset under AVCHD 720 p. Note that the descriptions on the right which you have set the preset.

    5. in Share/disc/disc, in the dialog box burn, and then select the preset: NTSC_Widecreen_Dolby DVD. If it's all completed successfully, then we can talk about conversion of NTSC 1280 x 720 16:9 for a DVD VIDEO PAL (720 x 576 25 fps with a flag from 16:9 to stretch the video on screen after the encoding).
