Format setting flash8 avi video

Hi Im using flash 8 to convert an avi amination to post on YouTube. Can someone give me the correct settings to use when the options before the publish. Also, I need to find these settings for clarity and the large file as I'd like keep compressed.

Advice would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Do not use Flash to compress unless you don't have any other compression software. Export to an uncompressed AVI file and then compress him with other software. Flash8 is too old to have Adobe Media Encoder so it is not really ideal for compression.

If you have no software to make a compressed MP4 (there are free stuff out there) I find that YouTube does a good job with WMVs. You can still download the old version WMV9 , which is a little weird (the user interface), but very exceptional WMVS or enter the most recent Microsoft Expression Encoder 4 (free version is done pro H264, WMV). Even after the expression encoder is out, I continued to use the old version because it worked better, even if the user interface is weird.

If it's essentially a one time thing I wouldn't mind compress for you if you give me the source or an uncompressed AVI file (zipped up hosted somewhere online). Let me know if you want to do and I'll send you a PM.

    Hi Michael,

    1. This only happens with a particular file type?

This seems to be a codec problem. Some files supported by Windows movie maker again you will need to install a codec before you can use the files in Windows Movie Maker.

You can use your favorite search engine to download and install a non-Microsoft video editing software to convert the file into a format supported by Windows Movie Maker

Note: The use of third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

Thank you for the follow-up.  I'm not sure I correctly interpret what you wrote. Please let me know if the following is everything is correct.

The Canon PowerShot G9 is over. But you have files MotionJPEG.avi of what you want to change. Is this correct?

These MotionJPEG.avi files still not important in Premiere Elements on your computer.

You now have a new camera, the Canon PowerShot G15. This camera records with AVCHD (MPEG AVC/h.264) video compression and has a .mov file extension. It seems to offer 1920 x 1080 at 24 progressive frames per second and 1280 x 720 at 30 progressive frames per second. What are you using it to record from this camera? You should do very well with this video, as long as you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer with Premiere Elements. If necessary, we can review the following project settings.

If I'm correct till now, what do you do with the MotionJPEG.avi that you kept? What is the format for them, that is, they are 720 x 576 16:9 or something else? With the above information, I'll be able to give you a good answer.

Thank you. Congratulations on your new camera.

It is not that there is a problem in Windows 7, it is more likely that you don't have just the installed CODEC the video file is saved with.  You will need to find a source, download and install any CODEC no MS yourself. You can use GSpot to identify CODECs used in AVI files. An alternative to downloading of many individual CODECs is to install FFDSHOW instead. Some media players like VLC and Media Player Classic also have internal CODECS and support for a wide variety of video and audio file types.

  • Bangla fonts does not appear when I export my flash file .avi video... Help!

I'm trying to use bengali fonts in flash pro cs6. I have the option "use the device font" allows you to use bangla text font. otherwise the police becomes all dispersed. I posted a question about this in the forum but got no answer.
But the main problem is that when I export a flash (bangla fonts containing) file in the .avi format video file... I do not bengali in the video fonts. English fonts are okay in the video file... but bangla fonts simply disappear. They can be seen when I test the file flash in the flash from adobe, but they disappear just in the .avi. file
What can I do about it? I have an urgent task, and I'm just stuck with this stupid problem.
    Help, please.

You must incorporate the police to ensure that it will be used.

  • Best setting for creating video in LR

    First of all I isn't about creating a video of Raw still photos in LR.   Actually two different subjects;

    (1) issue with MP4 - I have news for all settings, the formats to do this.  I created a MP4 1080 p with music and it worked well on Win7 OS but not on XP or Vista... The audio has not played correctly.      I might be able to live with that, but I would like to know if it would solve the audio problem to create 1080 p or 720 p? a compromise in quality? ... I'm a real beginner in this field...     Photos videos I've ever seen were not good quality, but this created high quality.

    (2) another question - what format/arrangement in LR to create a DVD with audio that could be played in a unit not Blu Ray... I want to be able to use a large TV with DVD player...    Can I use video to create or make a slideshow with audio and what setting...   I know I have to do some reading...    I'm a little under the gun to get treatment results and since I have so many pictures, they will be good for this sort of thing vs. providing JPEG images quite normal.

    Thank you.

Regarding playback of video files on different operating systems it is more dependent on the player you use and the video card, as the OS that you are using. On windows systems windows media player must manage HD formats as long as your video card is up to, if you have problems to download VLC media player (just google it) because it will play anything you throw at it.

Video output LR is very limited (and in my opinion a waste of time), if you really want to integrate still images into a video format would do you better to use a video editing rather than the release of LR application. For the best quality of still images slideshow, you'd also better be showing slideshows directly using LR itself or PDF as same HD video will be just far corresponding to a photographic image quality always. If you want to mix still and moving images, then I would crop and export as TIFF 8-bit images and import them into the application where you can have a lot more control over editing video. On Mac, i-Film is good enough for basic video editing. Unfortunately on windows you can really buy a request the free windows application is useless. The elements of Prime Minister is a pretty good choice.

If you do not want to use the video exported directly from setting LR HD is 1080 p or 720 p and it would require a Blue Ray disc play properly. HD 1080 p gives a format 16:9 with a maximum width of 1920pxs, 720 p 1280 x 720pxs. To make a standard DVD, you use the output 720 x 440 (rather than two HD formats) and then will need you a DVD authoring application to actually burn the DVD.

In addition, I have an a couple of tests on the HD output LR slide compared to using elements of Prime Minister. I'll post to Vimeo and put links once they show themselves. One point emerges immediately, even without sound, the slide show even is 20% larger LR only emitted by elements using the parameters of compression recommended Vimeo in both cases. Played on my machine directly the Elements version also looks better, if this will show also online I don't know until they have downloaded and rendered.

Here is the version of LR... .play to full screen and you can see the problems.

Here is the version made in elements of Prime Minister, which is much better (and a smaller file).
