Format text around the images interspersed on page

I'm doing a simple page to save and then use for other pages.

I now have a logo at the top center.

a navigation bar

and a word of Introduction.

I have an image on the left (under the word in intro) and got the text to the right of the image with a space between the image and the text. I also was able to justify the text and have little space on the right side f the text. Very clean looking.

Now, I want to have the same thing on the left.

So, I want a picture on the left, not at the bottom, but just on the left, a little below the bottom of the first image.

I want the text to be sent back on the left side of the image with the same amount of space between the image and text.

This can't happen. The text doesn't dress, the image does not place correctly.

I find this cs5 DW will be very difficult. I use HTML, because I thought I was doing well using CSS but all my pages go haywire. I know I need to better understand the CSS and tags, classes, etc, but really, how can I just make this a work page?

Thank you!

That's fine - but I can not enter something in these areas V and H. Indeed, in this Panel I can only select from the dropdown to Align...

Any ideas? Thank you

Clicking once on the image?  I guess you must otherwise have this window will not turn on.

BTW, I have a few books of DW I use, as well as Google search for more information...

Is there a book that gives useful information no matter who?

  • Could not find the wrapping of text around an image in Keynote

I see post of 2007 where you can't wrap text around an image in Keynote. Is this always the case? Hope not... very disappointing if so.

There is no tool to wrap text in Keynote. Text wrapping is a tool of print media to maximize space in the column in print, if that's what you try to do, use the Apple's Pages.

Keynote is a presentation of screen based application, (slide show) so there is very little use for the text wrapping.

You can do a work around, but it is not perfect:

    • Place the image on the slide

    • Place the two shapes on the slide, one for the area of text, image size
    • order click on the two forms;     to select both
    • Format > forms > subtract shapes;     will cut a hole in the greatest shape
    • Paste the text into the larger shape

    • format text

  • How to wrap text around the anchored object (image)

I quickly started to get account that I am not the mental giant I had previously thought!

Having recently made the switch to InDesign, I fight to pick up some of the different methodologies, and more still, the different jargon.

I read the section guide from Adobe on this request, and I feel none the wiser is. I'm sorry to you guys with what is probably a very trivial question for users over three years, but let's go even of evil.

I am trying to anchor the image object in a block of text, with the image of the text wrapping. While it seems to be in my ability to insert the object and to wrap the text, I have real problems to anchor this object in the right place.

What I'm trying to look like this: -.

Can anyone please help me, a simple "idjit" way how to do this?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

If the image is placed on the page:

Drag the symbol at the top right in a paragraph before that the first line is ignored when the text is wrapped.

I suggest to save all the settings (wrapping text, the position of an object of anchroed, etc.) in the Styles of an object as it makes it easier to do global settings later.

  • Wrap text around an image off the beaten path

Is it possible to wrap text around an image that is not placed inside the text box? When a column of text image overlays only partially?

    Hi Sascha,

You should be able to achieve the desired effect by placing the image inside the box and giving a compensation of the negative film.

The picture will overlap with text partially and skin will still work.

  • I'm unable to wrap text around an image.

I posted a typical page on our site with a photo, a title and some text.  I struggled for several days, trying to surround the text around the picture and leave a space between the picture and the text.  I have studied many books and tutorials on the css box model, but they are all so different in the words they use and the approach to teaching that my mind is in a fog swirl of conflicting information.

Our site is at www.endangeredspecies.com.  There will be thousands of individual pages on different plants with this same format that will be accessible by various indices Hypertext references.

You simply float your image left or right:

    IMG {}

    float: left;

    margin-right: 10px;

    margin-bottom: 5px;

  • How I wrap text around an image?

I love the last small images in my text but would like to have the text around them and make them anchored with the text.

Double-click the picture that you inserted in your email to open the picture properties dialog box and click on the appearance tab. In the drop-down list labeled "Align text to Image", you can select how you want to wrap around the image of the text.

If you insert a picture by using the Insert-> Image command is available in the menu bar and the toolbar in the composition window, this option will be available before the image is inserted.

  • How to control the number of lines of text below the image in the slideshow module?

    Lightroom 3.3

How to control the number of lines of text below the image in the slideshow module?  I have an image with 36 words in the caption field which exports like two lines GOOD.!  I have another image with 57 words in the field of legend who runs the page and shows only a VERY BAD line.  With 57 words I can't do the single-line text box small enough to keep the text does not spread out of the page.

    Ideas?

On the Mac platform and I expect similar under Windows, just hit enter or return key will not help. Instead, you will have to hit the keys Ctrl + Enter or Ctrl + return. This forces a new line. Windows may use a different modifier key. The screenshot below shows that it is possible. Unfortunately, you need to add the text via the caption or Description field in the library module.

    Hi threadsmith

    Method 1:

You can use the hardware and troubleshooting of devices and also the display resolution of quality issues. Check if this can help to solve problems -

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-hardware-and-devices-Troubleshooter

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-display-quality-Troubleshooter

See below the link assistance and control-

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/ways-to-improve-display-quality

    Method 2:

    Step 1 :
To resolve the problem, you can check if uninstalling and reinstalling then the display driver allows.
Also check if you have any exclamation point or cross the marks on the sides of display devices listed in Device Manager.

    a. click Startand then click Control Panel.

    b. click system and Maintenance, click Systemand then click on Device Manager.
Note If Control Panel is in Classic view, double-click System, and then click Device Manager.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click allow.

    c. in the Manager device, expand display driver, display devices, right-click and then click on Properties and on the driver tab, click Uninstall.

    d. When you are prompted to confirm that you want to remove the device, click OK.

    e. restart the computer.

After the computer restarts, the drivers will be installed automatically.

    Step 2:

If the problem persists I suggest you to check if you install the latest updated driver on the manufacturer's Web site to help you.

You can also check out the link below and check if you get an updated video driver. You can install updates in optional updatesvideo card driver.

    I hope this helps.

  • Cut the text from the image using the Pathfinder tool

    Hi all

I'm cutting text from an image in Illustrator. I use the version on a Dell XPS 12 CS6.

I have scoured the internet for instructions and have tried everything, but when I followed the same steps in Illustrator I don't get my desired result. I created the contours for the text, so that the image and text are on the same layer, grouped (and dissociated) and then I tried all the options in the pathfinder, nothing helps. I've done it before with an image, but for some reason can not get it to work this time.

I even tried to make the image in a clipping mask, so it would be a 'form' instead of 'image', but that didn't do anything either.

If anyone has any advice, I would greatly appreciate it that I spent hours trying to figure this out!

    Thank you!

    Erin

Pathfinder will not work with a path and a picture.

Instead, put your text above the image (it can be the living text), select both.

You can then use the button do mask in the transparency to cut your text on the image palette.

  • Text in the image reactive?

I have a problem with the text in a reactive image.

I create an image it reactivates in width and height and put a legend on it (in the container of the photo).

When I begin to change the width of the browser, the text jumps out of the container in the photo.

Bringing together two points does not solve the problem.

Is there a way to keep the text on the image (in the image container)?

    Any ideas?

Of course, it would be possible to create a text frame and place the image in the background of it, but then the image is not admissible height, which could spoil the mobile design.

Otherwise it would currently be impossible to create captions in images...

    THX!
