Forms Central

I have Adobe Acrobat Pro 9. I would use Forms Central. Should I upgrade to Acrobat Pro XI? What is the cost of upgrade to Pro XI? What is the cost to add Central shapes?

Hi Kandre,

Adobe FormsCentral is an online Service. Therefore, you do not upgrade to Acrobat XI.

No, if you do not use FormsCentral its disappearance will not affect you.

  • Is there an alternative Adobe Forms Central is included in his suite cloud Creative?

I'm an avid user of Adobe Central forms, as well as the software Adobe Creative Cloud... But have not fully explored more cloud creative beyond what I use every day (dreamweaver, fireworks, etc.).  I was wondering if there was an alternative within the software I already have and who would replace Central form.

  • Forms Central: can I print a form?

I made a form in Acrobat XI and transferred to the central forms. I filled myself as a test and I can't seem to print the answer with the fields filled - as it appeared just before hitting the submit"" button. I NEED to be able to do with this particular form. I can't use the 'details' and print that because I need to be able to print individual responses EXACTLY as I set up the form. Am I missing just the way to do it, or is it not an option? If it is not an option, I'm afraid I'm stuck on how to distribute it.

When you look at the response table in FormsCentral, you should see the "Save as PDF" button in the toolbar. If you click on that it will create a form and it will be downloaded. You can then open and print it.

  • I want to create a form in Acrobat Pro XI, but if I try to make a new form, it opens forms Central.

I don't want to create a form in this application, because it will not go away.  How can I get around that?  Is it possible to disable this option, so I can create the form directly in Acrobat Pro?

With a file empty? It is possible... You can Ctrl + Shift + T to create a blank page and then add the form fields, as I've described.

    Hi Ion,

    Forms Central is longer now.

    FormsCentral

A trial version of forms used to be installed as part of Acrobat PRO XI Central desktop application.

It is no longer available and is not included in Acrobat DC, however, you can always create PDF using Acrobat PRO from DC forms.

  • Central forms it is part of cloud creative, right? If Yes...

.. then why can't apply logic rules when adding questions/categories? I just added a few drop-down menus and I want to apply some rules of logic for some options, but the flyout window says that logical rules are available only to paid memberships.

Forms Central is not part of the creative cloud. You can go to https://www.acrobat.com/formscentral/en/pricing.html to sign up for membership forms Central.

Thank you very much for your help! TY

    Hi rilanab49377272,

If you have Acrobat, you will use the component shapes on the tools Panel to add interactive form fields to the PDF document. If you do not have Acrobat, you can download a 30 day trial of http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html. To help you get started, here are a few topics help on the use of forms in Acrobat: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/topics/forms.html.

  • How to create a customizable form?

I am currently working on the provision of a website in Muse for my company J - TEK PC then I'm doing a form like the one on HP or DELL sites that allows to select different options will take you to a single page of extraction. How to make a customizable form?

    Hello

If your customization includes features that are not currently offered by Muse-shaped widget, then I suggest you create your custom form in another application such as 'Adobe Form Central' or "Jotforms" and then use the embed code of the form created in your muse site.

    Hope this helps

  • What is the best software for this matter of form?

I have a project for which I think Adobe have a solution, but I want to assure you that I have buy the correct software. I searched the forum but quite impossible to find the right answer.

I want to be able to create a form that can be completed electronically, has captured for analysis of the data entered and then be able to print a paper copy of the completed form.

What I understand from what I have read so far, I can create a form with Acrobat and distribute it in PDF format. Once the form is completed on-screen and submitted, the data will be captured by forms Central where I can analyze it. The person who completed the form and then print it as I need a signed paper copy. The completed form by e-mail, in which case it is completed on an i - Pad and can be sent to a place that can print?

Finally, I need about 750 of these completed forms. Forms Central allows only 500 participants by the form, I think, but, with the right subscription can I distribute 2 identical forms and then export and merge data in, said Excel?

Or Livecycle will do all what I want.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

With the basic plan of FormsCentral, the maximum number of answers in the table of responses at one time is limited to 500, but you can earn more if you export the responses and remove some of the table. If you get the plan, this number increased to 5000. So the question is to know if you think that you will be able to export before the response table fills up. But there is also a buffer zone so that all submissions over 500 are always saved, they are simply not shown until you remove a part out of the way, so no data is lost.

Users will be able to present, print, save and email if you wish. They use Adobe Reader on the iPad, which is not the default PDF Viewer and cannot be made the default display.

  • Distribute the form using the internal server

I created form forms central and exported in PDF format.

PDF distribution options that I distribute and collect the response email and acrobat and internal server using the network or shared folder.

When I select the internal server, it pops the network folder selection step.  When I send a test on the tracker form, it shows that the form was sent using email attachment and no server.

Any ideas how to change the mode of distribution?

    Susan

I think that if you want to use an internal server, you do not use central, but regular acroforms forms and your own server scripts. The scripts of central forms are not available to get you on your own server. (I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong).

  • Acrobat XI - creating forms

Hello, managers Forum Adobe... I watched a video on your site recently which showed the facility to produce forms in the latest version of Acrobat Pro.  It will take the place of this feature that debuted in InDesign CS6?  I had heard that InDesign form production capabilities were not yet refined and wonder if Adobe soon abandoned this way of production for an easier way in Acrobat Pro XI.

    Thank you very much.

I assume you mean forms Central for Acrobat, which will be distributed with Acrobat XI. It's another way to create forms that are not compatible with the existing methodology of Acrobat form. CF has absolutely nothing to do with the method of creating Acrobat forms InDesign.

The InDesign method works very well, but does include all the features bit that Acrobat has developed over the years. But these questions can easily be changed with the features of forms in Acrobat Pro. The main thing missing in the InDesign method, is that you should always open the PDF you create in Acrobat Pro to record as a player that is compatible for recording forms. The biggest advantage is that layout of forms can be much more accurate and can include more capable more refined appearance in InDesign. (You never had the tools to create a look that is refined in Acrobat.) There is no way it will be abandoned. It is one of the most popular features in InDesign CS6!
