  I would like someone to tell me if there is a way to load a html or php page into flash as a movieclip without actually navigating from the flash player (using getURL code). Basically, I wonder if there is a way to load a html file, just as we load movieclips and perform all of the functions of html page.

  N ° Flash can only supports displaying html in textfields and only a very limited number of html tags (look to the top of the TextFields htmlText property).  To view a html/php file is therefore not possible.

  This weekend I was helped a lot with a problem, I got on php: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/420710?tstart=0

  However, I had downloaded the site a week before and now Google index the old pages with extension html (http://mysafety.be)

  I have included "not to archive ' and 'no index' metatags, but the amount indexed with html continues to climb and no pages with php extension are being indexed.

  This means that I have to keep alive all the html page with no - archive metatag and redirection to the version of php.

  Suggestions, please?

  You can place a file named ".htaccess" in the root of any folder, and the server will use the directives in the file to control how it serves pages for the client.  There is a full set of controls, more can be found by Googling "htaccess", probably you do not want to read, but among them is the possibility to do a server for any extraction of page redirection, allowing you to automatically redirect all requests for *.html to *.php.  Which is nice, is that you can send a header with the redirect than direts search engines to adjust their indexes, called a "301" header.  It specifies that the requested page has moved permanently to the new name of the page.

  On several of my sites, I have this redirect used - the .htaccess file contains the markup like this.

  RedirectEngine on

  Redirect 301 xyzzy.html http://www.example.com/xyzzy.php

  You need not do anything.

  'foo.dwt' can be used to create HTML, or PHP child pages.

  If you really want to do, however, you can rename foo.dwt to foo.dwt.php
  (using DW Files panel) and allows dajuster DW pages accordingly.

• I need help to get Dreamweaver to recognize html and php files and htm files.

  I have a site legicy and it is prohibitive to chane the names of .php file. So I try to get Dreamweaver cs5.5 to interpret the htm and html files that are including php.

  I'm under XAMPP as my test server.

  I have the index.htm file and it displays all of the links as broken and will not work in live mode view with php includes. However if I rename .php file the file analysis correctly in dreamweaver.

  Is there a work around that?

  I was able to get the host to work Web site by editing the .htaccess file to use this code, but it does not work in Dreamweaver.

• Create html page /php that looks like a popup window

  Is it possible to create an html / php page that looks like a pop-up window? On my site, I would like to make a link to the videos of miniatures. My current effort has this work but in a new window, it seems not very elegant and I would like to create a page more in line with a pop-up design. This page to a specific size, has no navigation toolbar; no location toolbar; No status bar; No menu bar; no scroll bar and no. resize handles.

  If possible can someone show me how... or an alternative? Link on the page pop up flv video which closes when popup loses focus.

  Not sure if you want a typical pop-up or a viewer window.

  If you look at this test page, hit the music player opens a pop-up window.  But the video player opens in a viewer window.

• Problem with HTML and PHP form...

  Can someone help me please...

  Im a beginner at Web design and have created a few sites only, but when it comes in contact with the page it always have problems me. I know this must be a simple process but not for me lol.

  IM so frustrated. I finished the site transferred, but the contact page will not work. I download the two html file containing the form and the php in the folder file root on the server (which supports php), and again, it won't work. I went over and over the script but I can't see where im going wrong.

  Please someone take a look and the two files one see if they can pinpoint where im going wrong?

  You should really check Forms To Go. I use this software to treat all of my forms. I can easily apply validation, configure the e-mail settings and redirect to a thank you page using its graphic interface without having to write a single line of php code. The unregistered (free version with limited functions) will do everything you need.

• Dissallow HTML in PHP form?

  I ran into a very annoying problem. On my site I allow people to post comments on videos like Youtube, but unlike youtube some users have taken advantage of me and began to type html in comment and then when they post the bed site HTML code and they can add links and distort things.

  Then... I know you can dissable HTML but I have no idea how to. I use a server behavior insert record. Some people give me the code, but nobody tells me where to put it. So if someone could help me with this, I would be very grateful.

  To answer the original question, the simple way to remove all the HTML from user input is to use the PHP strip_tags()function.

  Just put this at the top of the script:

  Get rid of the following line:

  It is useless and contains a deprecated code anyway.

• Changing HTML to PHP

  I'm working on my first site DW. I was reviewing a post by a person who asked about the use of HTML on certain pages and PHP on others. The notice was to use PHP throughout the continuity. After thinking about this abit, I determined that in the future I'll probably have to add PHP.
  
  Now to the question... I started the website in HTML and have gotten a good ways in there. Is it possible to convert the site in PHP now... or do I have to start from square 1. Please keep in mind that I know what is PHP, but have absolutely no experience working with him... and I do not have the site in the code, but in "Design Mode".

• Adobe Muse - the unexpected HTML to PHP query response

  I am trying to download my Adobe Muse via Upload site to the FTP host. I checked all the information, including my domain name has been entered correctly, but I get this error message. I contacted my hosting service support through service and they checked that all was well at their end. Why I get this error and how can I change it? My site does not at all.

  

  Thanks for your help. Now, we know the problem: we have tried to work with 'domain.tld', but our supplier it redirects to "www.domain.tld" with a 301. If muse get - the 301 instead of the test file.

  If this problem occurs, use the URL after the redirect.
