You might hope that the owner might be able to locate the iPod Touch, if it

Unit is able to access and use internet FindMyMac/iPhone.

You can report the device that you have found to the local police;  don't know if they

could help or would help to unify the product with the owner. Some info on

How managing an iDevice found may be contained in support topics, like:

• If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch is lost or stolen - Apple Support

The topics generally appear in a search:

https://DuckDuckGo.com/?q=How + to + report + iPod found ++ & t = ffsb

Generally most lost objects are reported to local police, since

Apple itself doesn't seem to have no way to contact the owners of a

directly lost product. -These CSA discussions are for the most part, users

like you, who are volunteering to help others; without compensation...

We have therefore no channel special contact Apple on a product lost.

Serial numbers and identification of a product will not be

the topic thread and will be deleted. as a support policy.

Sorry that I am of no use to help you return the iPod touch 5

for the owner. He or she may be able to find it, if they enable the features in

the device and in any other Apple device to follow.

"Find my iPhone is the only way that you can follow or locate a lost device or missing.

If find my iPhone is not activated on your device until missing, there is no other

In any case... good luck!

  • iPod Touch 5 Gen - iOS 9.3.1 lightning connector issues - with accessories

Has anyone seen a problem using iOS 9.3.1 on an iPod Touch 5th generation with lightning connector devices?  Specifically, I use the iPod in a cradle of scanner which connects via the connector of the lightning, until iOS 9.3.1 the cradle was visible to the application, but once it has been updated the scanner loses communication to the iOS device and application.  IPod charge and connect to iTunes, no problem, but refuses to see the cradle, I have another iPod on an older version of iOS, which connects to the cradle even without problem.

To try to find, I've updated the iOS to 9.3.2 beta fault from the site of the developer, this problem has now fixed the issue with the cradle.  I can't that assume Apple broke the connection in iOS 9.3.1?

Sometimes an iOS update breaks compatibility with accessories. Since then, he has worked with next beta which seems to be the cause.

All yo can do is to continue using the beta until the version is rejected in the pubis.

Have reported the problem to Apple to ensure that the beta version is not yet revised to cause the same problem?

  • iPod touch will not got to some Web sites - "Safari cannot open the page because the network connection has been lost."

Safari refuses to go to certain websites (facebook.com, youtube.com) on my iPod Touch and instead displays this error:

S afari cannot open the page because the network connection has been lost.

The bubble at the top where I typed in the URL doesn't change, it always says "facebook.com" or something else.

No matter where I am, so it won't get fixed by resetting my home Wi - Fi router. Other sites load fine. I have reset the iPod, too, by pressing the sleep button and one on the front (whatever it's called) until I see the apple logo. I also did 'Story clear and data Web site' in the Safari settings.

I searched the web and found a number of threads that start with similar complaints, but I can't find one where the problem has been resolved in fact.

    Thank you!

  • problems updating iPod Touch iTunes sync and lists 9.3.2,and playback on the iPod

I updated the iPod touch and iTunes and as a first step, I lost all my library because the update iTunes but that is fixed, I had back ups. But when I synced my iPod touch, I had to delete and synchronize the contents of my iPod which has ruined all my playlists in iTunes in sync because the iPod could synchronize only half of the songs because of the error 54. Who sets, restarted the laptop and iPod but because of this, the iTunes playlist had the sync iPod songs. Fixed by re sync several times, I'm always short 4 songs on my iPod to my main playlist but some songs that appear on the iPod do not play, I can choose them but they do not play then shows no played piece. When I get a song to the playlist which works module to the top next just shows that the song only, even if it has been selected by the Shuffle Playlist button. Also some songs on the iPod is not the correct album cover, I'm guessing because of error 54 *, and these songs are often unplayable. All right back on iTunes is just the iPod for now.

The following steps below should fix things, assuming that all the content you want in your library.

(If it is not see recover your iTunes from your iPod or an iOS device).

    1. Backup device.
    2. Restoration as a new device.
    3. Restore the backup that you made earlier.

  • iPod Touch 6th Gen Home button

    Hi all

So I bought a new iPod Touch 6th generation. The Home button has been simply insensitive requiring a heavy click to do anything. Too strong and I would like to invoke Siri. I had to press in the exact Center.

Apple replaced just that far unfortunately this replacement too is faced with the same problems. Be disabled I do not press hard and light clicks are / have never had a problem with my iPod Touch 5th generation or 3 iPad.

So I'll call Apple again, I check with other owners in case of sensitivity of the button Home has been changed.

    See you soon.

I had a 6th gen for a year or so and not noticed who need additional pressure on the home button.

You use the Apple's music subscription service?

When looking for your music on the iPod?

How you want your music on your iPod?

Music synced from iTunes or through the Apple music should appear in the music app.

  • iPod Touch 5th Gen disconnects during synchronization

I can only assume that it is a question of OS.

The problem is that every time that I try to sync my iPod Touch a few seconds in the progression of synchronization

all my logout of devices USB (keyboard, mouse, iPod, etc.), then immediately reconnects, it happens only when I put my iPod Touch to sync.

    Things I've tried:

    -Reinstalled iTunes

    -Reset iPod

    -Restore the iPod

    -WiFi Sync (same result)

    -Restart the PC

-Moved to copy music from different HARD drives and SSD

    -Used 3rd party software

-Synced album by album instead of all at the time (longer works for a while, the synchronization of time more the chance of what happens)

One thing that I noticed but have no idea what to do with that when it happens, in case the Viewer, I get a specific error.

Error_usbehci_4 - a time-out occurred while waiting for the host controller EHCI interrupt on answer Async ahead Bell.

    -Try a different USB cable

-Inspect the dock connector of the iPod for contacts bent or missing, foreign material, contacts corroded, plastic cracked or damaged.
