The calculation of the average value is ok but std and variance are bad and the results change with representation in an unexpected way. Everyone knows about this problem?   Hello Andrea,

  Here is a test for the configuration of your VI (entered I16, 16 samples), saved in LabVIEW 2010 SP1 and the new Subvi. It is relatively simple to adapt it to other configurations, but it does not reconfigure several nodes and constants on the diagram. Let me know if it will work for you.

• FPGA: Change the sinusoidal signal generator

  The sine wave in the FPGA palette generator, that's what I need to do
  but he can't exit do 'cosine', which is outside of 90 degrees. I need 120

  I discovered the hard way that LabVIEW 2011 has no records. After reviewing various options, I settled on the FIFO. The code presented here works well, but it is not save space on the FPGA to the wire using two generators of sinus with a phase difference in hard on one of them. For now, I'll use two sine generators, if this turns out to be unworkable in practice due to the relationship of phase adrift, then I'll look at it again.

  The frequency and phase of the compensating controls are fixed point numbers formatted in zero whole bit and a 32-bit word. Bed down while the loop is synchronized with the loop timed by the FIFO, FIFO of 18 ticks timeout is two more than the 2.5 MHz in a loop which is a ditch-16. The IF block in the lower part, while the loop cut update control up to 10 KHz, 60 Hz sines more quickly.

  I'm doing an app with Indesign. When I download the application with the Builder app everything works until the end, I don't get the files to download.

  I only get the option enable the user to simple editing. I followed all the steps on this forum to make things work, but it did not make sense.

  I ordered Adobe CC membership from a Dutch company Slim.nl (it is for students and teachers), they say it's full membership and I can download all the software.

  On the internet, I found an article that said that the Slim software of Adobe do not support digital publishing service. This could be the reason why the app Builder does not work?  I asked Slim.nl, but they say that I have full membership.

  Maybe someone can confirm that there are several versions of full membership.

  You launch the App Builder by going to the item Create App in the flyout in Panel of Folio Builder? Don't launch App Builder directly from the Applications.

  If you run the App Builder in the menu drop down and will always ask for a serial number then your CC subscription does not include simple editing.

  My iphone 6s had served 10 months and very well, starting this week, I continue to have this (loading icon displayed next to the 3 G icon) roaming issue once every day what all my apps have no data carrier suddenly then the signal is full(4/5-dots), my phone is only able to find roaming after flight mode reset. Someone knows how to solve or having the same case with that? is this problem just iOS?

• Problems with the generator of Folio for CS5 (Mac)

  I run Adobe CS5 Suite. I am currently developing an iPad app and run into a problem with the generator of folio. Previously, this computer doesn't have a generator all of folio. I followed the instructions on adobe.com and downloaded and installed the update producer folio tools (http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/thankyou.jsp?ftpID=5433 & starts = 5435) and then downloaded and installed the updated folio builder Panel (http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=180 & platform = Macintosh). When I open inDesign, generator of folio is still saying "an update Is had to use Folio Builder."  "Please click here to download the producer Folio tools."

  Try the following steps:

  1. on your mac, go to the Spotlight, search > uninstall Folio builder control panel - uninstall, uninstall producer Folio tools research - uninstall.

  2 then uninstall Adobe Air.

  3. restart your Mac.

  4. install Adobe Air

  5 re-install the Folio and tools Panel generator producer Folio.

• Table with the Kindle and generated content in e - pubs design problems

  I encountered a strange problem with e-pub files exported from 5.5 design. It's only a problem with the Kindle, but that in itself is a pretty big problem. This has to do with the way In Design creates tables of contents. As you know, the "Table of contents" function in In Design is what generates the NCX or navigation device in your e-pub. Our books, we also create a linked table of contents in the text of the book. Below is a string of code generated by In Design that shows a typical chapter opening header that is included in the NCX and also back to the table of contents links in the text. The first (toc_marker-10) id is automatically generated by the 'Table of contents' function and corresponds to the id used by the NCX. The second id (Morella) has been created by me using an anchor point and assigning a "destination of the hyperlink" which can bind an element in my table in the text of the content. Then this piece of text is a hypertext link (via as HREF) return to the table of contents page. As you can see, In Design puts the second id towards the end of the code and after the HREF that links to my table of contents page. This works very well on all the reading devices except the Kindle, which seems to become confused by the order of the elements in the code. Amazon said that because this second id comes after the HREF, the hyperlink does not appear on this text (Morella) and the connection breaks. The way around this is simple: just move the second id < an id = "Morella" / > while it comes immediately before the href tag and everything works. But that means getting into the e-pub afterwards and put away all instances of the problem. In addition, there is no consistency in order that design attributes to the elements in the present code. In some cases where the links have been created in exactly the same way, the second id appears before the HREF and the link works fine. It's just a bug or did someone knows if In Design actually uses logic to decide the order of the items below?

  It really doesn't seem like a problem of Kindle. InDesign creates an EPUB file, not a Mobi file. It is designed to create an EPUB that will pass validation.

  Creating the EPUB MOBI file is a separate issue and not something that InDesign must concern itself with.

  At this stage of development of eBook (early on), it is quite well provided you will need script or manually change some CSS and XHTML to adjust the vagaries of different devices.

• Problem with the generation of multi-sinus wavefrom of random phase using PXI-5412

  Hello

  I am trying to generate random phase multi-sine waveform using the PXI-5412 14 bits 100 M/s AWG on LabVIEW8.0.

  The version of LabVIEW8.0 for the PXI-5412 comes with a sample VI on multi-tone waveform generation. When I tried with a different combination of frequency and amplitude, there is no problem with the sample VI.

  Because I need the phase to be random for each frequency component, I had tore the tone cluster containing 3 elements, i.e. frequency, amplitude and phase, which feeds the generator of signals, and rebundle the cluster with elements of reading a CSV file by using a loop, a fixed value amplititude and a number of random phase of the frequency generated by a random number (formula lournies elements (: pi - 2pi x r). When the waveform multi-sinusoidale generated on the PXI-5112 100 MHz Digital Oscilloscope, it was pointed out that the waveform would change with the tested frequency range.  However, the amplitude of the wave is always ~1.4V (guess that's always default to 1 V x sqrt (2)).  There is no question also when testing the same combination of frequency and amplitude by using sample VI without modification.

  Please find attached the VI of the sample, snatching up to the version and the CSV file I used. Is there something wrong with the table 1 d of the cluster of 3 elements that I built and assembled causing the signal generator to ignore the value of input amplitude and, possibly, the input value of the same phase (as it seems that the amplititude is always set to the default)?

  The other question that I found on the two sample VI and ripped version is on the news of sampling.  The waveforms appear on digital Oscilloscope PXI-5112 always default to 10 cycles no matter how changed the sampling frequency and the number of samples.  For example, if the frequency is 10 Hz, sampling frequency is 1000 Hz, and I put the number of samples to 10000.  I'm supposed to get 10000/100 = 100 cycles.  However, I could see 10 cycles no matter how, I changed.  What should be the correct way to change the number of cycles?

  1 phase unit is in degrees (-180 to 180), no - pi pi.
  2 standardize Waveform.vi always normalize your amplitude of the signal. You can remove it to use your desired amplitue, but must make sure that it is not above 5412 spec.

• Anyone having problems with the new iPhone LTE connection 7 on Verizon?

  I am now on my iPhone second 7 with Verizon. I had four phones for me and my family. I have now had issues where I have no signal in the same areas where my signal allows to be strong. I can't solve the problem with the activation/deactivation of the airplane and then mode again in normal mode. My phone will rest with no signal for 5 minutes, then going to LTE with three bars. I also had the problem where I had only 1 x signal, while my son standing right next to me has LTE. And he had the same questions, where I'm on LTE and it gets no signal. I use to have LTE where I live and work all the time, now it's spotty at best. Apple has replaced me and my sons iPhones but not luck. Still do. Any ideas or an any other suffering?

  (1) go to settings/cell phone/cellular data Options/enable LTE and select ONLY the DATA. This seems to solve the problem (as a temporary solution) for most of the people affected by this problem. The bad part is your request might not be as clear (since they cannot use the highest LTE signals) and you can make calls and data at the same time. But it does not solve the issue.

  (2) there are rumors (but you didn't hear that from me that we only are not supposed to discuss beta software program Apple in this forum) that the new version of Apple Beta for iOS (which also includes an update of the software carrier Verizon to 26.0) seems to solve this problem. So, there's a light at the end of the tunnel.

• Problem with the volume on Satellite Z30 control - A

  I have a problem with the analog output sound on my A - Z30 (internal and line/headphone speakers). If for example I play music I see a clearly weak signal volume on the fader control of volume in my Win 8.1 source volume control. But on the master fader, I get a completely saturated and distorted signal. Even down to the time source and output does not help... it just sounds horrible.

  Here we can see that the (extreme right) music player delivers a signal of low volume, while the master fader (left) receives a 100% volume distorted signal.

  I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version of the drivers for my sound card. But this problem is very persistent. It seems that something pulls the signal up, but I can't find any control that turns off.

  I'm not completely sure when that started, but it can be connected with the beginning of the use of a USB headset. But I already uninstalled this software once again, but that did not help as well.

  I can't configure my NI9481 correctly so that the relay and switches are available in a picker of IO control. I tried to use the example or 'Switch Connect - 2 Channel.vi' to test the relay, however I generates the following error: "-200069: specified device is not a valid switch mechanism. This inclines me to believe that the examples of the switch do not work for the 9481.

  If I go to MAX, highlight the NI9481 and select 'Test panels... '. "I can't open/close the relay using the GUI.

  I am currently using a chassis OR cDAQ-9172 8 slots which houses 2 NI9239 ADCs, 1 DAC of NI9263 and a NI9481. I'm trying to use the relay (9481) to toggle the analog signal generated by the NI9263 to be read by the NI9239. I was able to create analog signal and scanned it by the NI9239s without problem.

  Can someone shed some light on what I might have missed when you attempt to configure the 9481...

  I could find the correct example that produces the effect I was looking for. For those interested, this is the 'write dig Port.VI' found in the examples of NEITHER.

  I need to create a digital signal to trigger a camera, but I have a problem with the configuration of my lines or exit lanes. I would not use that line output to trigger the camera. (I use a card NI PCIe-6353). LabVIEW is telling me that the number of lines in the channel does not have the number of rows of data:

  Possible reasons:

  Specified read or write operation failed because the number of rows in the data of a string is not the lines in the channel.

  If you use the digital waveform data type, make sure that the number of lines in the digital waveforms is the number of lines in the channel. If you are using Boolean data, make sure that the dimension of the array for the rows of the data is the number of lines in the channel.

  I got it to work by changing the "data format" "binary not signed" OR by plugging is not the "offset" for the Square Wave VI.  I think that the default "offset binary" data format works correctly if there is a negative value.

When I run PS-script with my computer, I have backup of disks virtual Machin in the container "snaps-disk", without problem.

  Now I have a new task "automatically make the process of creating backup of Virtual Machines (VM snapshots). I tried to use automation module (overview). Can I change my PS script for the 'Automation' module and create folders (see Ann 1 - records (make backups of virtual machines) _Azure_Automation).

  I need to make a backup of Virtual Machine 'bosard' in the cloud 'cloudnet. "Bosard" on the disc size ~ approximately 90 000 000 000 bytes (total size of the default drive size 127 GB/136 367 309 312 bytes)

  1. I start files to make a backup of Virtual Machine disk (see annex 1 - files (make backups of virtual machines) _Azure_Automation))

  4. the process of backup copy 1 (see Appendix 2 - process log file copy) automatically stops and complete to copy the part 1/3 bytes copied 28311552000only. Important: The size of my virtual machine disk ~ on 90 000 000 000 bytes.  (Maximum possible) of total capacity of the disk where the Virtual Machine is used - 136 367 309 312 (127 GB). (See picture 2 - stop backup copy 1)

  5. I have Virtual size 1 backup - 28311552000bytes, when the size of my VM - 90 000 000 000 / 136 367 309 312 bytes.

  Problem 2:

  6. after the termination of the process automatically makes copy backup 1, records (see annex 1 - files (make backups of virtual machines) _Azure_Automation) automatically start (see picture 2 - stop backup copy 1) and folders automatically create new snapshot Backup 2 - name - bosard - osdisk_07.10.2014_07h31m33s.vhd (see annex 2 - process log file copy, image 3 - stop the copy backup 1 & Begin copy backup 2 and 5 - backupStore_Azure (process)of image)

  7. I pressed "stop" and stopped the process of copy and folders (picture 4 - I stopped the process of creating backup 2 & records). And how result I had size Backup 1 and 2 = 0 bytes (see image 6 - backupStore_Azure (I order records))

  Note:

  1 problem 1: the process of backup of virtual machine does not complete and stops automatically.

  2 problem 2: the process of creating new second backup starts automatically. And as a result, we do not have the backup of virtual machine, when I use the 'Automation '.

  3. my conclusions

  I think that:

  1. my PS script for Automation (files) is not correctly. Then I need your help, how to fix this.

  2 may be the module "Automation" is not working correctly. And the module 'Automation' needs repairs and settings.
