framerate and big movieClips

I have a question about big movieClips.

I have a movieClip with large trees and bushes which slides on the screen to simulate a movement.

Flash uses all encompassing of movieClip, or areas inclusive of all the small pieces in the movieClip in terms of how the framerate gets bogged down as anime the movieClip.

I am trying to determine if it is more efficient for me to break this movieClip into every tree and Bush movieClips that all get dragged around independently, and if I get a better framerate.

Or the Flash playback engine already deal with this so I would achieve the same framerate so be it?

Any idea would be appreciated.

Flash doesn't matter to decide on the framerate you see. Is your cpu and gpu that can bog-down for the management of large or many graphic elements.

There is probably no benefit to break a large movieclip in several more small. However, if you are on the translation of movieclips, allowing their cacheAsBitmap property can result in significantly improved performance.

    Hello Heatherbp.

    It's probably because games are running in low resolution.  There are a few things you could do on your screen and specific games.

    First would be to change the resolution, in which the games are running, this is usually found in the video options.  However, these options are not all games.

    The second option will depend on your monitor, if you use a desktop display it will likely options to stretch the image to fill the screen.  Even a laptop usually has something similar, although it can be controlled by software so it will not be controls on the front of the screen.  The documentation that came with your laptop should see him explain how do that Paul Smith - MVP Windows Desktop Experience for...   • 'unknown' and big question mark on my network card

    I get an 'unknown' with a big blue? on my map network between my computer and the router.
    I already did the following:
    Restarted
    Reset router password
    unchecked some v6 button
    not all users connected
    just abot all I've read about this.
    It will go away for a period short and low and behold he came back.
    What is it?

    I had the same big blue mark on several of my machines and know that the bonjour service is not installed on any of them - all clean installed Win7, Win2k8R2 and Win7Home.  The only thing they had in common was RealTek network cards (or at least that's how they are marked in Device Manager).

    If your NETWORK card is a RealTek PCie or similar, you could try going to Device Manager and click on the Advanced tab of the RealTek network device.  There you should be able to navigate down to an entry labeled "priority and VLAN.  If activated, try to define this VLAN enabled.  I could do this fix on 3 of my machines with RealTek NIC and it seems that the problems of mapping network disappeared.

    [I'm not saying that the bonjour service is not causing a? mark for others, but I got no Hello on my machines.]  The fix above eliminated the? all cards on all the machines in my network].

  • With the help of text and buttons movieclips as buttons to point to the same layered framework?

    I'll have a terrible time with the 3.0 AS and animating CC 2015.2 in this project.  I was given a suggestion, but now I'm so confused output errors that I hope to get answers from you advanced people.

    The project is similar to this:

    Identify the Structure of the trees

    Framework 1 - nothing selected, visible instructions

    Frame 2 - Select sheets by clicking on the image (tree top or bottom) or text, leaves description becomes visible

    Frame 3 - branches select by clicking on the image (tree top or bottom) or text, description branches becomes visible

    Frame 4 - trunk select by clicking on the image (tree top or bottom) or text, description of trunk becomes visible


    Suggestion is:

    Do the video clip of each region of image tree and drop it on the layer smaller on top with alpha 0%

    Create a badge of the clip, and then tap on timeline with each framework has put in evidence and description

    Make the text button, then tap chronology framework with each has put in evidence and description

    Trunk frame – more small area place top layer

    Branches Frame - smaller than the leaves but superior to the place of the trunk between the two

    Framework of leaves - most square of the area on the layer under the Branches

    Can anyone offer any suggestions?  I used to program 5.5 Flash with Actionscript 2.0, but difficulties with Animate and Actionscript 3.0.  I don't know if I have to use swaps or specific images, but when viewing, he travels all frames without stopping even if each image as the AS command stop ();

    Yes, if your buttons or movieclips, overlap one on top Gets the default click event. So, if you decide to create separate movieClips or separate buttons, be sure to give everyone an exclusive space.

    One approach I've used in the past for such things is to open the work, the tree in Photoshop then "cut" art into segments and put each segment in a different layer in Photoshop. Then you can import that art directly in to animate and each layer will import under a separate post. Then you can combine them into a movieClip to a work of art on the stage. From there, you can select each segment and each a movieClip or button you want.

    How to make (you can) I change the movieclip in an existing frame.

    I created an arm with 3 clips,

    • the upper arm,
    • the lower arm
    • the hand.

    But the hand must change shape, pointing, at rest, etc...

  • Problems with variable framerate and a specific codec

    Hi all!

    I recently downloaded the trial version of Premiere Pro, to test whether I should spend my editing software. (I used before Vegas)

    I am happy with the results I get, there are only two major questions:

    I record Gameplay, using Dxtory and codec 'PICVideo MJPEG 3 '. My PC is not a beast, but do I have to be more than enough for the tasks I want to do (running a FX9590, 980ti GTX and 16 GB of Ram).

    (1) However, my CPU is not able to maintain a constant framerate (no matter if it 30, 60 or 120, still dips down by 1 or 2 fps every few seconds)

    I also tested with Plays.TV (which is basically a worse version of shadowplay Nvidia). It records to a variable framerate as well.

    When I put the files in first pro, I notice that the sound is out of sync, after 10-15 minutes. It is not much, maybe not even for a second, but makes the useless video file. My solution was to put the videos in a tool called "hand brake" and re - encode with a constant flow. works perfectly fine, but it's literally the same as rencering 30 GB video. It takes forever.

    (2) this isn't really a problem with the first only, but I'll give it a try, maybe I'll find someone here who has experience with this: to simplify: MJPEG files are previewed first rose. No idea why, every codec I've tried so far worked. (PICVideo devs do not respond to me, even if I paid a f * cking much for their software)

    using a codec different would be an option, but I have not found one that offers the same quality/performance/file size - level yet.

    Body is not designed to change VFR (Variable Frame Rate) so problems... the conversion at a constant rate is the solution

  • Label name and help MovieClip

    Hello guys I wonder if you help me. I am a beginner in Flash and do not know if this is possible.

    Basically. In my concert to have two MovieClips. MC_1 and MC_2. When I put the mouse on MC_1 I want her to play a "label".

  • LoadMovie and custom MovieClip class

    Hi, I am trying to create a custom class of MovieClip with loadMovie, but it does not work.

    I created a symbol and script action clip from movie-related, such as:
    class CustomMovieClip extends MovieClip {... custom functions to set the behavior, onMouseMove, delivery, etc...}
    It works all fine until I called a loadMovie instance, try to change the shape.

    As I searched, I thought that loadMovie can ruin you if you something like mc.onPress =... but
    What is the case for a custom class? Hope not.

    Solved the problem myself. I write it here so others can find it.
    Basically, you can do loadMovie directly an instance of the CustomMovieClip class.
    It will mess up all the methods that you have defined in the class.
    Workaround is to perform loadMovie to a variable in the class.
    Complete working example is here:

  • When will it be possible to navigate in the components of small and big day in the calendar with the arrow keys and PgUp/Dwn?

  • Unable to assume the new framerate and reverse images

    Hello! I have some footage shot with a frame rate - and I am changing to a higher cadence via "film" in Adobe Premiere Pro. Everything is fine up to that point, but then when I invert the images through 'Speed/time' he throws entry points and so the part of the clip is not present in the timeline panel (it shows as cross in areas where I applied transitions). When I visited the images, sometimes it comes out as just a single image for all the video games or it play a little and cuts off to black.

    Hello Chad,

    As change the speed and the cadence at the same time, the elements have to do with the rendering order (AKA change the hierarchy of effects processing). By nesting you can cheat the rendering order to get the specific effect that you want. Other effects, such as blur and masks, change the stacking order in the effect controls panel can change the order of rendering for a very different effect.

    You can get different effects when changing the rendering order. The effect that you want to remove requires a change to the rendering order. This is a very interesting topic, but it is not a whole lot of info on this subject. It is spoken quite a bit more in the realm of After Effects.

  • Masking and unmasking MovieClips

    I have two images on top each other and when you click on the small image to enlarge the picture shows.

    But how to make the image to return to the smaller image when it is clicked on the cotyledon.

    If you want to make the others appear and make disappear you should probably use the visible property rather than the alpha property, especially if they are sitting on the other.  If you use alpha and they are sitting on the other, you are always clicking on one located on top, because alpha is not make disappear.

    Then you do what you say you want to do, make the user has clicked one disappear and the other appear...

  • Problems with multiple framerates and Blackmagic Decklink 4 K Extreme reading

    Recently, I exchanged by AJA Kona card for extreme Blackmagic Decklink 4 K in order to get external followed in DaVinci Resolve.

    I work in a 1080 p 23.976 project that includes a 29.97 SD and HD images. Loading these images of 29.97 FPS in my layer source footage, I meet regularly with frozen reading (the triangle of game in my toolbar becomes a symbol of the square and stays that way). From there on, I am unable to playback images in any scenario and requires a complete closure of the system to return to normal! The problem is apparently BOUNCING, with successful reading happening sometimes.

    Images of 29.97 was DVCPRO, I tried to transcode to Prores to solve problems. No dice. I think it's a problem related to the inability of the Decklink to manage several rate display on the fly, but wanted to present here, too. I also experienced delays intermittent sync on my monitor.

    You should not have problems with Blackmagic manage several formats on the fly. However, I believe that the problems of reading frozen that your description is related to the Desktop Driver video 10. I suggest rolling back to 9.3.3 for now. Blackmagic now turns on this issue.

  • Button interavtivity and unlock movieclips

    I use flash cs5 with as3. Within the scene, I'm working on, I have 4 buttons to animate different objects and one of these ("door button") leads to go to the next scene. I want to force the user to click on all the other buttons before the "door button" allows them to go to the next scene. If the user clicks the button on the door until all the other buttons user clicked there should be no results. Can anyone please suggest any specific forums or discussions of source that may be able to help me with this script?
