Frames/borders colored HTML?

Hello everyone!

My trials and tribulations of web design continue: I'm trying to understand how to add colorful borders of an HTML table.

(preface: I'm a long time print designer desperately trying to learn web design - I know almost nothing about the coding, I'm using GoLive CS2 and I am a 'point - & - click')

I have here the basic web design:

http://www.solardata.ca/

and I want to look like this:

http://www.solardata.ca/solar_data_design.jpg

Is it possible to color the borders/frames of HTML tables in GoLive?

I tried to Google answers, but I have a lot of success.

I initially attempted to create this using CSS objects (and prefer to do it with CSS objects so that it's a liquid plan), but the Adobe "Classroom in a Book" is severely lacking to explain how to customize GoLive CSS objects - so I don't have to do a complete mess to search and try different options.

Thanks in advance!

It seems a bit "dodgy" for me well - like making things appear correctly in the dark days at the beginning of "desktop publishing."

Maybe it's my ignorance, but I guess that's how HTML works...

Sound a little 'old scool' way, but it works

I woud have been using 4

  • How directly crop multiple instances of a PDF document in Indesign without using frame borders

    Hi all

    I filled an Indesign document with PDF to help merge data (CS5.5).

    I would like to increase the size of some of them by inserting a page next and put some of the PDF on each side, with a proper culture.

    Surely, I can do this by duplicating the framework and using the edge of the frame to crop.  However, it seems to require a certain hack, to resize the image and maintain the balance of the PDF.

    Ideally, I would be able to crop each copy of the actual PDF file * in Indesign *, but when I try this (deliberately avoiding the Original 'Edit'), it seems to open the link of the PDF in Acrobat and no cropping will then be applied to all instances of the PDF file (I'll avoid the phrase 'destructive', as of course cropping in Acrobat PDF (sometimes notoriously) is not permanent).

    Is it possible to make the crop without use of the frame borders and make several copies of the PDF file?

  • 7.2 conversion to 2015-> 'filter of origin not available' message-> strange borders on the table and anchored frames

    I just convert my 7.2 files to FM 2015 and got some ' original at least a... graphics filter imported by reference... not available..' messages.

    When I looked at those files, I found that several anchored frames were heavy black borders that I could not change and a few tables had borders hatch cross thick strange I could find the same information on.  I guess it's some sort of error condition report, but have not been able to find information about the attachment.

    The affected files tend to be older originating before 7.2 FM

    Any ideas on how to approach the issue?  See photos.

    fm-strange-table.png

    I think that both are indicators of conditional text. FM has always used a hatch for the cells in a table. 2015 thus uses an anchored frames border color.

    You can control conditional text at the book level now, in order to hide these is an easy solution: 2015 FrameMaker: conditional text at the book level. Adobe Technical Communication Suite 2015 | Adobe TV .

  • How do you turn off the coast of the coloring layer to animate?

    Hello!

    I've updated to animate and onion skin frames are color coded. Anyone know how to disable this option? I can't find an option to do so, and unfortunately it fills completely the previous and future frames with a solid color that darkens the Interior details of the images really, really bad. I understand how this could be useful to animate solid forms such as stick figures, but it killed my workflow.

    Thanks for any help.

    Hello

    I want to just inform you that animate CC 2015.2 released a few days back allows you to change the colors of onion skins of your choice. In addition, this version includes the following

    Please update your copy of CC animate to the latest (15.2.0.66) using your Creative Cloud Desktop application. Logout & Sign - in in case you don't see Animate CC 2015.2 in your creative cloud application.

  • How we customize CSS to use in the region of HTML?

    4.2.1 - the model 25 (sensitive) theme - default application.

    Hello

    I have a request of white single page, in which I created an HTML region and adding an HTML table with 4 columns that shows some data. However, I would like to customize the CSS so that I can add good borders, colors, fonts, etc. for this table table. My question is

    1. I went to settings-> cascading style sheets and it shows nothing. I have the option create. I need to create a new CSS? I thought it should be just the case of adding my own class in an existing css file

    2. If I modify the CSS that would affect all applications? I just want to change my request specifically.

    3. can we use CSS added to my html region?

    Thank you

    "configurations"? What/where is it?

    If you're referring to components shared > Cascading Style Sheets, whereas these are files that they must be downloaded initially. If the file is small, enough it can then be edited in place, otherwise the file must be modified outside the APEX and downloaded again.

    I need to create a new CSS?

    It depends on.

    I thought it should be just the case of adding my own class in an existing css file

    Integrated APEX and the CSS theme is located in the Directory of the Virtual Image, not the shared components and cannot be changed through the App Builder. Theme/built-in CSS rules can be overridden in several ways.

    2. If I modify the CSS that would affect all applications? I just want to change my request specifically.

    Shared component CSS only affects applications that make reference to this style sheet.

    3. can we use CSS added to my html region?

    Yes. If the CSS is reusable in applications or on multiple pages of an application, a CSS file in the shared components or an external location is correct implementation. It can be referenced in the page templates required as described above, or from the new File URL property page template APEX 4.2.

    If the scope of the CSS is limited to a single region or page, then a CSS file can be referenced to be used on this page using the CSS properties of the page.

    The best way to apply style sheets in the page and region specific small is simply to enter the page Inline CSS property.

    I have a request of white single page, in which I created an HTML region and adding an HTML table with 4 columns that shows some data. However, I would like to customize the CSS so that I can add good borders, colors, fonts, etc. for this table table. My question is

    Why are do you this rather than create a report of the APEX? What's completely static data? In this case, the best approach may be to accompany the rest of the application by copying the HTML code for a model of appropriate report, thus getting the theme of the APEX THAT CSS applied automatically.

  • Eliminate borders link in IE/Firefox

    I'm working on a new website that can be seen at http://www.aronwiesenfeld.com/TEST/HOME.html (currently the page biography and Contacts is always empty). I'm working on a Mac using Dreamweaver CS3. Everything look at how my client wants what it in Safari and Opera, but said, it is borders colorful around some of the link as the upper-left navigation links or images of buttons more 'work' and 'Back' in the section 'WORKS' at the bottom left. I also get a gray clear edge even on the Mac in Firefox when I click any link of the image with the mouse.

    I have a common external CSS attached to all pages which is attached. I'm obviously not an expert in CSS - I usually work entirely in Flash... can I eliminate in IE and Firefox?

    Thanks in advance.

    Try adding-

    an img {border: none ;}}

    in your CSS.

    And you can greatly improve your CSS like this-

    {body
    background-color: FFFFFF;
    margin-top: 0px;
    left margin: 0px;
    }
    a: link, a: visited, a: hover, a: active, a: {emphasis
    text-decoration: none;
    border: none;
    }

  • Why firefox 15 displays the hex of size for the html data that make up the page?

    Windows 7, 32-bit
    Firefox 15.0.1 update Friday
    Java 1.7.0_07 Friday update

    Management forced a Java Update and restart on Friday. When Firefox started it auto-updated V15.0.1. He had problems immediately; the previous session tabs disappeared all and any page with Flash no longer worked (everything was OK before the two updates).

    In the recommendations, I created a new profile, copy only on bookmarks and files with name of user/authentication of the previous profile. When manually reopen the necessary tabs, pointed out that any Sonicwall firewall and Panasonic Netcam both display only a blank page with one or more hexadecimal numbers on it.

    Efforts to repair since included completely remove Firefox, the plugin Flash and current Java to run in safe mode, disabling all extensions/plugins, running in a completely default new profile with nothing carried over, try with and without hardware acceleration, etc. The behavior does not change. It does not matter if I go via http or https for devices that support both.

    JavaScript IS enabled, and the script _no_ blocking is in place; JavaScript works on other sites that use it.

    IE9 on the same PC works fine, so it's apparently not a system problem

    Looking at the page source shows that hexadecimal numbers are the length of the data in the row or the piece of HTML code, including the following javascript code. The Sonicwall sets up a larger number (2ea) on the line of the display source page that corresponds to the size in bytes of the code in the following lines.

    The Panasonic apparently sends the length of the data in each row if it provides a hexadecimal number for each line of HTML in the source display.

    What would make Firefox interpret the data incoming size as displayed, but only for certain pages or peripheral? I can visit other sites that have javascript and they work; a source of these pages view shows all the lines with just a hexadecimal number.

    I'm not sure that line, you try to change here. I would say to make the changes in the file "general.css" under folder "styles" to the KC installation folder (xxx\web server\KCenter\Styles). Here, in this file, try to find the tag 'background' and set the value of color under 'background-color '. I hope it works for you.

    Note - It is always advisable to make a backup of the original file before you make any changes.

  • graphic block obscures text frame, even if the text is on a higher layer

    I have a page of photos, each in its own framework and each with its own text block containing the caption for the photo. Behind all this and covering most of the page, I created an image of basic graphics in which I placed a picture as the background. I've done several times before, as recently as last month. This time, for some reason some unfathomable background obscures the text captions, as if the background was on a top layer (but it isn't). But he isn't obscuring the photos, only the legends. Another strange thing: InDesign error text in excess, which is clearly not. I tried to juggle the autour layers to see if that would solve the problem. No dice. The only thing that makes visible captions is to completely remove the graphic block. I tried just using a fill color in the frame, instead of the photo in the background, but the result is the same. I also tried to reduce the opacity of the fill/photo, but all that is to reduce the color in the white frame (the color of the page), it doesn't make transparent. I can make the image smaller, and this makes the text 'behind' it visible. But the color/background < rectangle > is the purpose of down in the layers list. It just does not behave like that. One last thing: I can go to the layers palette and hide the rectangle of <>by clicking the eyeball, but she is hiding it, it does not show the text 'behind' she captions. I suspect that an update shifted to creative cloud can be loaded here.

    You have the text wraps not enabled for your background image, it pushes the text out of the text frame, which, of course, is causing overset text and you you see is not the text more. Select the inage background, choose the skin for Windows and click the more to the left to turn it off.

  • Sort by color (infographic) attribute?

    I saw this page, although I have not tried to implement the example into a running flash file:

    http://help.Adobe.com/en_US/FlashPlatform/reference/ActionScript/3/FL/motion/color.html

    I want to know is we suggest:

    (1) I create a grid or a polar grid of circles or square random, at random in the fact that they have random colors

    (2) I push every random color defined at the point of the function call (I created the function init myself) init() in a table so as not to lose the color values

    (3) I then click on a button and the interpolation square or circles in a position in the order of their value of Hue on a color wheel so that they are sorted and arranged like a rainbow.

    How is this achieved?  I know that this seems to be a classic question that has been done before, but I'm just now move to do this kind of thing who me.

    The answers to this question will be useful.  Thanks in advance.

  • What happened to the grids of the frame?

    I use InDesign CC 20141 and I can't find frame grids. They are mentioned in the PDF documentation and here https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/using/frame-grid-properties.html#change_frame_grid_proper ties, but I can't seem to find the signs that are spoken. Thank you.

    Any tool that creates images can create frame grids.

    As long as you're drawing and not to release such a tool, it maybe the text tool, it the cursor loaded, maybe one of the frame tools you may click the arrows until in´crease the number of the raws or down, or use the left and right arrow keys to decrease or increase the number of columns.

    By default, the distance is the default tray for the columns on the master page.

    Some images as polygons and stars would increase the number of corners, with these tools you must click on the space bar to switch between the grids and the corners too long that the cursor is not released.

    This may belong in the forums of PS, but I'll start him - working on a book cover with a background image to EPS of a marble texture, making his appearance in the evidence, too much flesh-colored or dew to hue. Simply pass the tint more to a warm tone, absence of shades of roses, how to start? a I stay in ID, or has to go to the PS?) EPS images, format, are not ideal, he said, but that's what the Editor provided, opened originally in Illustrator. This may be very inaccurate, without monitor callibrated, but I just try first to get in the stadium of the right hue, by simple methods.

    Basic, but thank you.

    Luca

    The format of the image should not affect color values.

    I just did a little experiment, and maybe there is a way to 'false' you need to do in ID make a form which covers the area that you want to move and fill it with a sepia, and then set the object of mode for the shape to the tint in the merger effects Panel. You can vary the intensity by adjusting the transparency slider. This will affect everything below the new form, however, so perhaps more encompassing want. I also got lucky with a global movement giving the picture frame fill color, and then by setting the image itself to multiply (use the direct Selection tool to select the image within the frame and to change the mode in the effects Panel), but I found it much more difficult to control the color this way.

    My choice would be to use Photoshop where you have real control and can isolate the transfer to the specific if necessary color bars. Lack of a calibrated monitor is an obstacle, however.
