Freezes BlueScreen & system: Windows 7 Sony Vaio brand new laptop

Hello

Recently I bought the new Sony Vaio VPCEB3QFX model. I got a screen freeze problem so Office Max it replaced with a new one, but the new laptop also has the same problem. Now I guess this isn't Sony VAIO issue, its Windows 7 or a driver like machine 2 problem may not have the problem.  From now on, I have 2 problems do not know if the two are related to each other.

(1) blue screen problem

(2) laptop freezes when & suddenly my laptop crashes I can't do anything same not ctrl alt delete. I need to restart the laptop using the power button / stop. I fear that this could damage the hard drive.

There is no recent changes on my laptop, it's a piece of the new plant. I installed a newer version of Avast antivirus that I downloaded from CNET. I am also having free Norton Internet Security installed, so I'm sure that his free of viruses.

Please suggest a solution as soon as possible as the laptop is still in warranty period.

Thank you

Paresh.

Hello

You will need to contact the Office of Max and Sony again that the issue is either this model computer, very likely.
or something that you added to the computer. As the 2nd computer has the same problem, it is probably
a hardware problem, BIOS, chipset, or driver than anything Sony is responsible.

Sony - Contacts
http://eSupport.Sony.com/us/Perl/contact-land.pl

Sony - drivers
http://eSupport.Sony.com/Perl/select-System.pl

You can try to solve the problem, but they are likely to say that it is something you have done. Even
If you could somehow solve problems you would still like the problem documented in case of
probably down the road problems.

Think video drivers especially if it may be others. Refer to the section of driver in my generic bluescreen
methods of troubleshooting below. BIOS, low and antispyway/antivirus/security chipset drivers
programs may also cause this. Check the resolution of the problems and when you get to the pilot and sections tests memory refer to the generic methods in the next message and then returns to the resolution of problems
If necessary.

Cause

A driver tried to access a pageable (or that is completely invalid) address while the IRQL was too high.

This bug check is usually caused by drivers who used a wrong address.

If the first parameter has the same value as the fourth parameter, and the third parameter indicates a runtime operation, this bug check was probably caused by a driver who was trying to run code when the code itself has been paginated outside. The possible causes for the error page are:

  • The function was marked as pageable and was operating at an IRQL higher (including obtaining a lock).
  • The function call was made to a function in another pilot, and that this driver has been unloaded.
  • The function was called by using a function pointer that was an invalid pointer.

    Hello

Have you recently added any hardware? Have you updated any drivers just before this started? (Check
Panel configuration-updates of Windows to see if all drivers have been updated it there all the time it started)
Main likely culprits are video driver, other great drivers, memory and antivirus/antispyware/security
products could be at fault as well as reader questions.

Would be a good idea to remove all power and remove and reinstall all memory cards and cables (on
both ends) - not only tighten - really remove and reinstall. Of course, if a laptop is what you can do
    Reinstall the memory.

Use the troubleshooter below and refer to the following message to drivers and memory when you get to
These sections and then back to the resolution of the problems according to the needs.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    BCCode: 50 0 x 00000050

    Cause

The BCCode 50 usually occurs after the installation of a faulty material or failure of
hardware installation (usually associated with defective RAM, such as main memory, L2 RAM cache or video
    RAM).

Another common cause is a defective system service installation.

Antivirus software can also trigger this error, as can a corrupted NTFS volume.

    Solve the problem

Solve a defective hardware problem: If the material has been added to the system recently, remove
it to see if the error recurs. If the hardware failure existing, remove or replace the faulty component.
You must run the diagnostics of material provided by the manufacturer of the system. For more information on these
procedures, see the user guide for your computer.

Fix a defective system service: Disable the service and confirm that this fixes the
error. If so, contact the manufacturer of the system service on a possible update. If the error
occurs when the system starts, restart your computer and press F8 at the menu character mode
which displays the choice of operating system. In menu Advanced Options Windows resulting.
Choose the last known good Configuration option. This option is most effective when it is only
a driver or service is added to the time.

    A problem of antivirus software:
disable the program and confirm that this fixes the
error. If this is the case, contact the manufacturer of the program about a possible update.

Fix a corrupted NTFS volume: Run Chkdsk /f /r to detect and repair disk errors.
You must reboot the system before the start of the analysis of disk on a system partition. If the hard drive is
SCSI, look for problems between the SCSI controller and the disk.

Finally, check the system log in Event Viewer for additional error messages that might help
identify the device or driver that generated the error. Disable the cache in memory of the BIOS
    could also resolve it.

AHA! It already showed that I have subscribed to all of the folders, visible and missing, but after a combination of clicks (not sure what sequence of refreshment and subscribe and OK), they are all back.

    Thank you! Very useful.

  • What is the HP Digital Imaging Monitor? Apply to my operating system, Windows 7?

What is the HP Digital Imaging Monitor? Apply to my operating system, Windows 7? I want to remove the icon from the task bar (toolbar in the lower right corner of the screen) that I never use it.

Picardjc wrote that "Digital imaging monitor is part of the HP software that communicates with your HP printer. This program allows to read the inklevels, get an out of paper message, scan from the device to the computer and so on. It is not necessary, but it will restrict the use of printers if you delete. "Understood. But for my printer HP Officejet Pro 8000 A809a, what is the purpose of having the digital imaging monitor icon in the taskbar Windows7 sp1 of the Notification area (aka system tray)? My A809a is NOT an all-in-one that includes a scanner; It is simply a very good printer. When I start to print something, if you need ink or paper, that information is displayed on the screen of my computer. So I ask again: why is the icon of monitor digital imaging on the taskbar? I clicked on at the time of this icon (I not print anything, but as usual, the printer is turned on), and nothing happened. R.N. (Roger) Folsom _ P.S. below I'll post some other discussions (with links to their locations) of the digital imaging monitor, I discovered before finding this site on which I am writing. There are a variety of opinions on what makes the digital imaging monitor. HP Digital Imaging Monitor is for HP director system tray access. This is necessary if you want to use the buttons of all-in-one on a HP printer all in one to scan documents or transfer photos from a camera manually. Closing the icon monitor HP digital imaging in the Windows system tray can cause the HP all-in-one to lose part of its scanning features and not the connection error message. In this case, you can restore all functionality by restarting the computer or by starting the HP digital imaging monitor. [Edited] 03/08/2011 14:05 - edited? 03/08/2011 14:08 Yes, it is safe to remove. In my view, it is usually in the program group under start / all programs / startup. Simply navigate under the Start button, right-click on it and delete! If it is not there, then remove it from the registry: run regedit and go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and delete it from the list in the right pane. If she is not there, then try hkey_current_user\\software\\microsoft\\windows\\currentversion\\run it's better than using msconfig and uncheck it. In my opinion, msconfig must always be set to Normal startup. Your printer will always print without that annoying obstructive utility called Digital Imaging Monitor. Ciao! Thank you for your help

Hello UH and thank you for your message.

I'm sorry I don't really understand what you are doing, you develop applications with Visual Studio 2008 and then deploy it on Windows CE or use directly in windows THIS? (I ask that, because Visual Studio is not supported on Windows CE: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=7940)

In addition, what device OR do you use? What is the fat of your project?

    Thanks for the responses,

My flash drive which was a backup of my system windows has been accidentally immersed in water.  When it is dry can still be used without destroying my USB port?

    Hello

Put it in a bag of rice for a few days or more. -seal the bag.

If you remove all the moisture, it shouldn't affect the USB ports if nothing is
possible. Usually it is not a problem if the moisture is removed.

    I hope this helps.

    E4500 @ 2.2 ghz

    is it work? for this?

First of all, check here if your system is compatible:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/upgrade-from-Windows-Vista-XP-tutorial

Second, consult the website of your computer manufacturer to see if they have the necessary drivers for your system to work with Windows 8. It is not likely.

    5. in 'owners' define yourself as an owner (if it is not defined)

    6. click on 'Ok '.

7 configure yourself: make sure you clickt on the box "Total control" (allow)
