FRM-40039

Hi all

run a form in Designer Forms 10.1.2.0.2 on Windows XP.

I'm getting same FRM-40039 so the default.env is the correct place for the .pll files to find. He has no copy of the .pll files in other directories and I m fully authorized reading, writing their etc..

More I added the same directory of the FORMS_PATH registry key (although this shouldn´be the problem, but anyway).

After still get FRM-40039 (and be in a State increasingly confused, to be honest) I tried the following:

I added ORACLE_PATH (same value as FORMS_PATH) in the registry and then I was able to run my form.

I have problems to understand this. On another client machine, it works fine without setting ORACLE_HOME in the register.

Any ideas would be appreciated :)

As frank said:
You must check again your FORMS_PATH to the default.env file in your installation of server applications.
Remember that launch that web forms module is completely different from the same module on client server or locally.
In the first case, your application variable will be sealed once, when you start your application server, and these variable must be included in your default.env file.
The varibales included: FORMS_PATH, APPLICATION_VARIABLES as confHome or applHome for java programs.

But for client server modules, your votre variable variable are implemented in your registry: FORMS_PATH, REPORTS_PATH, TK_ICON, etc.

The use of a generator of forms [9i] means, you must configure your Developer Suite as the server to be able to use the OC4J [Oracle container for Java] which is the only way to run a module on buiilder 9i forms.
If you need to change the default.env [and maybe a few other files inside locete: $ORACLE_HOME/Forms/Server, where ORACLE_HOME is the path of your installation of the Developer Suite]

After that, you will be able to run your form modules using your constructor.

    What pdf are you talking about?  What file WebUtil you downloaded?  Please be specific.

    Frankly, I would not use any document other than the one that is in the system of using Oracle Forms (articles: WebUtil and Checklist installation TIME configuration).

    The error with the libraries attached is probably because the webutil.pll is not found in the FORMS_PATH - at least this is the most common cause of this error.  The FORMS_PATH must include the directory where the webutil.pll and webutil.plx .  When did you get errors related to this: 1) opening the form in Forms Builder, 2) runs the form from the forms constructor or 3) the form of the Application Server (AS)?  In each of these cases, the cause is almost always a configuration problem.  If the error occurs when you open the form in the form designer, then you must update the FORMS_PATH in the Windows registry.  If the error occurs when you run the form from the generator of forms then you must update the FORMS_PATH in the default.env on your desktop.  If the error occurs when you run the form from ACE, then the FORMS_PATH in the default.env on the ACE needs to be refreshed.

    He vomits "FRM-40735 trigger fired unhandeled exception ORA-06508".

    It is a runtime error, so my best guess (since you said that you have created the package WEBUTIL_DB) is that the FORMS_PATH has not been updated on the ACE, or you do not have a compiled version of the webutil.pll (webutil.plx) on the AS or on your local workstation (if you run the form from the forms generator).  With respect to the WEBUTIL_DB package, you use the provided script to create the package?

  • A lot of questions of a model in Web Forms

    Hello, I recently installed in my Pc (Windows 7 Home Premium), home
    Database 11 g and forms 11.1.2.00 (64-bit) just for training,
    because I have one experience with 6i (Client-Server) and I wanted to see the new environment.

    I have my previous employment (unemployed now) a small (30 fmb) application to the 6i and want to run in the Web.
    I looked a little pdf "Upgrading Oracle Forms 6i with Oracle Forms 11g (E24478-01)".

    My fmxs and PLL is in the C:\Retail_app\bin folder.
    Also in this folder I copied EnableDisableItem.pll and rp2rro.pll
    Sources (fmb, rdf) located in the folder C:\Retail_app\Scr.

    When I open the web, it seems to me FRM-40039 cannot attach retail.pll library while opening the form shop.fmx

    I have search the forum for this FRM and watched error FRM-40039 post 32-bit to 64-bit migration. Please help.

    Here, a professional oracle says that we have to generate all the PLL in plx.

    But when I try to do, he told me FRM-91507 internal error: unable to generate the library.

    The expert also said that it is important that you make sure that the file locations are included in FORMS_PATH (default.env).

    My FORMS_PATH has 'C:\Retail_App\Bin; C:\Oracle\Middleware\FRMHome\forms; C:\Oracle\Middleware\FrmInst\FormsComponent\forms ".

    I do not understand what default.env means. I'm new to Web Forms environment.

    Also another question, because I'm Greek, the form builder environment is half English and half Greek.
    He does not say, 'Libraries attached' or 'Units of program' or in the Menu it says "Parathyro' instead of 'Window' I want everyone in English.
    Of course my application language is Greek, but I want to Form Builder to be English.
    My NLS_LANG is
    GREEK_GREECE. EL8MSWIN1253

    Is this wrong?

    Also I want to say
    When I opened shop.fmb in FormBuilder and go to the retail.pll of the library, then go to the properties of the library, to the location of functional PL/SQL library, he say
    Retail.PLL.
    It does not say C:\Retail_App\bin.

    I tried this.

    remove the shop.fmb library, then fix it again, when asked "Remove path? I said no, but when I tried to launch the application it says

    FRM-10221, cannot read file C:\Oracle\Middleware\FrmIns «»
    Error FRM-41810 menu creation.

    Preform Trigger raised an unhandled exception 'ORA-06508 ".

    I put messages in the trigger of PREFORM of shop.fmb,.
    relaxation begins...

    : system.message_level: = '20';
    message ('1');
    Create_Block_Rg; -There is a prgram of the Retail.pll library unit
    message ('2');
    : system.message_level: = '0';

    When I started the application again, it occurred to me message 1 and failure, which means that he could not even read the pll.

    Thank you all and wish you a good year (with joy and work).

    In short, the passage from one version to the other is usually easy. In many cases, all that is required is that your generate new 'X' files. In other words, you must use the compiler of forms 11 or the constructor to generate new FMX, MMX and PLX files. Also, you can't wait to use a pll during execution. Pll files should be generated in plx files. New files that results should be located in a path that is included in FORMS_PATH. For the time of execution (browser), FORMS_PATH is located in default.env. For the moment of conception (while working in Report Builder), FORMS_PATH is set in the registry in the same area that contains other entries for forms. Keep in mind that when I say 'DTC' this does not refer to the launch of the constructor of a form in a browser. Any time a form is running in a browser, its config from default.env.

    In addition, in most cases, I would not recommend that when you attach a library you choose not to delete the path. In other words, do not include the path when prompted. This is because if the path is chosen, the form will not work correctly if the application is moved. Instead, choose to remove the path when attaching and then make sure that the FORMS_PATH include the location of your libraries.

    So, to your accurate comments:

    1 FRM-91507 Internal error: unable to generate the library. It is usually the result of FORMS_PATH not defined correctly or not, including the path where the files of references. It was also reported this error resulting from setting NLS_LANG in some languages. This problem has been reported in Oracle bug 4131359. This bug has not yet been fixed. To determine if this is the problem, close the generator and try to set NLS_LANG to something like the following:

    AMERICAN_AMERICA. UTF8

    This can either be defined in the registry or as a Windows environment variable. After you set this value, restart the contractor or the compiler and retest.

    2. you said, ' + I don't understand what default.env + '. You should familiarize yourself with this file like you he will come back often. It is the configuration file that contains the environment settings used by the runtime of forms (frmweb.exe). In version 11, this file can be found here:

    C:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\ClassicDomain\config\fmwconfig\servers\WLS_FORMS\applications\formsapp_11.1.2\config

    In most cases, Oracle recommends that all configuration changes are made to in Enterprise Manager or Console WLS. The only exceptions would be if either of these tools fail to a configuration file individual or if you are using the type of installation of 'development '. Installation types are explained here:

    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E24269_01/doc.11120/e23960/install_screens.htm#BABCHIAF

    Add the folder to the FORMS_PATH in the registry will work well only for the form builder. Form the runtime, you must add the path (where you have your libraries, fmx, etc.) to the variable FORMS_PATH in default.env.

    How to get running with WebUtil 1.06 included with Oracle Developer Suite 10.1.2.0.2 on a win32 platform
    Solution
    Assuming a new 'Complete' installation of Oracle Developer Suite 10.1.2.0.2,
    Here are the steps to get a shape of small test running, using WebUtil 1.06.

    Note: Oracle_Home is used as an alias for your real oDS ORACLE_HOME.
    Feel free to copy this note to a text editor and do a find/replace on
    Oracle_Home with your real value (no slash). Then, it is easy to
    copy and paste the actual orders to be run from the copy of the memo.

    (* 1) * download http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/jacob-project/jacob_18.zip
    and extract to a temporary staging area. Do not attempt to use 1.7 or 1.9.

    (* 2) * copy or move jacob.jar and jacob.dll
    C:\webutile is the folder where you extracted Jacob and ends in ...\jacob_18
    CD C:\webutile
    Copy jacob.jar Oracle_Home\forms\java\.
    Copy jacob.dll Oracle_Home\forms\webutil\.
    Staging of Jacob is no longer needed and can be deleted.

    (* 3) * sign frmwebutil.jar and jacob.jar
    Open a DOS command prompt.
    Add Oracle_Home\jdk\bin in the path:
    set PATH=Oracle_Home\jdk\bin;%PATH%
    Sign files and check the result of success:
    Oracle_Home\forms\webutil\sign_webutil Oracle_Home\forms\java\frmwebutil.jar
    Oracle_Home\forms\webutil\sign_webutil Oracle_Home\forms\java\jacob.jar

    (* 4) * If you already have a pattern in your RDBMS that contains stored WebUtil code,.
    You can skip this step. Otherwise,.
    Create a schema for the stored code WebUtil and privileges to
    Sign in and create a stored package. Name of the schema "WEBUTIL" is recommended
    for no reason other than consistency based on users.
    Open Oracle_Home\forms\create_webutil_db.sql in a text editor and remove or comment
    the declaration of EXIT, in order to see if the objects have been created witout
    errors.
    Launch SQL * more like SYSTEM and the issue:
    Webutil IDENTIFIED BY password CREATE a USER
    DEFAULT TABLESPACE users
    TEMPORARY TABLESPACE temp;
    /
    GRANT CONNECT, CREATE PROCEDURE, CREATE SYNONYM TO webutil PUBLIC;
    /

    CONNECT webutil/webutil@rcci
    @Oracle_Home\forms\create_webutil_db.sql
    -Inspect SQL * Plus output for errors, and then
    CREATE a PUBLIC SYNONYM webutil_db FOR webutil.webutil_db;
    /

    Reconnect as SYSTEM and the question:
    Grant execute on webutil_db to public;

    /

    (* 5) * Edit Oracle_Home\forms\server\default.env and add Oracle_Home\jdk\jre\lib\rt.jar
    to the CLASSPATH entry.

    (* 6) * add edit Oracle_Home\forms\server\formsweb.cfg default insde:
    archive_jini = frmall_jinit.jar, frmwebutil.jar, Jacob.jar
    Archive = frmall.jar
    also add:
    webutil
    WebUtilLogging = off
    WebUtilLoggingDetail = normal
    WebUtilErrorMode = alert
    WebUtilDispatchMonitorInterval = 5
    WebUtilTrustInternal = true
    WebUtilMaxTransferSize = 16384
    baseHTMLjinitiator = webutiljini.htm
    baseHTMLjpi = webutiljpi.htm
    baseHTML = webutilbase.htm
    archive_jini = frmall_jinit.jar
    WebUtilArchive = frmwebutil.jar, jacob.jar, f90all.jar
    Archive = frmwebutil.jar, f90all.jar
    lookAndFeel = oracle

    (* 7) * Oracle_Home\forms\server\webutil.cfg edit and add:
    Transfer.Database.Enabled = True
    Transfer.appsrv.Enabled = True

    (* 8) * start the OC4J instance

    (* 9) * start Forms Builder and connect to a schema in the RDBMS used in step (4).
    Webutil.PLL open, make a 'compile ALL' (shift-control-K) and generate PLX (Ctrl-T).
    It is important to generate the PLX, in order to avoid the FRM-40039 indicated in Note 303682.1
    If the PLX is not generated, the library Webutil.pll must be fixed with
    path information full access to all who wish to make use of WebUtil. This is NOT recommended.

    (* 10) * create a new WBF.
    Open Webutil.olb and subclass (not copy) the Webutil opposes the shape.
    There is no need to subclass the WebutilConfig object.
    Attach the Webutil.pll library and remove the path.
    Add a logon trigger IT with code
    NULL;
    to avoid having to connect to a RDBMS (optional).
    Create a new button on a new canvas, with the code
    show_webutil_information (TRUE);
    in a trigger WHEN BUTTON PRESSED.
    Compile the FMB to FMX, after doing a compilation-All (shift-control-K).

    (* 11) * under Edit-> preferences-> Runtime in the form designer, click the "Reset to Default" If
    the "Application Server URL" is empty.
    Then add '? config = webutil' at the end, if you end up with a URL of the form
    : http://application-tier server: port/forms/frmservlet? config = webutil

    (* 12) * run your form

    Note: If you want to use Jacob and you can configure jacob too, if you follow the above mentioned instructions.

    Finally, mite update frm FF 3.6 at 14 for html5 (on the work of google last updated frm 3 to 5 services dint). will be history, bookmarks, site prefs etc be preserved? probably used to active connections. extension & plugin compatibility is not really important.

    also, so simply, I hit update and do, will that opera-like "Firefox" menu appear or I have to do a clean install to get it?

    If you do the update of in Firefox bookmarks, preferences, history, etc. will be there. Active connections should work for most as well. The majority of your extensions and the plugin should work as well, but you may need to update after the update of Firefox.

    On Windows XP the menu Firefox is not by default, but if you want you can always enable it by going to view > toolbars and unchecking the menu bar

    According to Microsoft error setting:
    Error message: "side-by-side configuration is incorrect."

    The machine is missing the correct C++ runtime components for your system type. (x 86 or x 64).

    Installation of the next update solved the problem.

    Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x 86)

    I did the installation of the c library ++ and all ok thing.

  • FRM - 40603:Records is no longer reserved for the update. Query for changes

    Hi I have a form that has been developing 6i and upgraded to 11g form work well in 6i, but when I try to do the same function in 11g get this error

    FRM - 40603:Records is no longer reserved for the update. Query for changes
    When I commit this execute_query (for_update); It is the form to clear values when it loads, the error comes when I try to delete

    How can I do this

    Action: If you want to change the block, you will need to re - interview.

    Captureerror3.PNG

    I use When-Timer-Expired (WTE) trigger

    You have a 'relationship' defined between the blocks of your master and detail? If so, simply update your master block and the block of details will automatically be re-interviewed. If you cannot use a relationship, then you can use can create a timer in the trigger that updates the database, then in the trigger When-Timer-Expired (WTE) you can go to the retail block and run a query. For example: / * the sample on change trigger * /.

    DECLARE
      timer_id  TIMER;
    BEGIN
    ....your code here that performs the update....
      /* Now create an instance of a timer */
      timer_id := Create_Timer ('upd_detail',1,NO_REPEAT);
    END;/* Sample Form Level When-Timer-Expired trigger */
    DECLARE
      timer_id  TIMER;
    BEGIN
      -- Find the timer first
      timer_id := FIND_TIMER('upd_detail');
      IF NOT ID_NULL(timer_id) THEN
          GO_BLOCK('DETAIL_BLOCK');
          Execute_Query;
      END IF;
    END;
