  I have 64 bit Windows Vista with the Service Pk 2 on my Dell computer. I used Windows Mail successfully several months I got the computer, including the sending of a large group of a newletter mail each week.  Last week, I did some cleaning and some names removed from my Contacts folder.   Somehow, I managed to set the message board in the Message Viewer from Apple Mail to zero height (Classic view) and so the detailed content of the message selected in the list is not visible. The "handle" - a grey point is palpable but not draggable and so I can't resize the messages pane.

  If I switch to the display of the 'new' unconventional columnar messages the far right of the column is not and while the little by dragging the slider appears (looks like a vertical bar with an arrow attached left) it's so powerless.

  That seems like a reproducible bug for me. I can create an account on the Mac, but I don't know any incantation which will remove.

  OK I found a solution of sorts, although I'm sure that it is just a workaround for a bit ugly of coding.

  The problem seems to be associated with having bars scroll either off or on auto-paraitre, which is the default behavior that I was using.

  Because when I went to the system preferences/general and changed "Show scroll bars" Always, I was then able to enter the 'point' in the 'Classic' messages display panel and resize the preview pane.

  I still cannot resize the preview pane in the mode of "unconventional" or "column".

  I'm trying to export groups from my list of messaging windows in Constant Contact.  When I export, export my address book complete, which is about 25 different groups.  Is this possible?  I have seen similar questions in the past and really hope that Microsoft has found a way to work it.

  This is because you use Yahoo Webmail and not an e-mail client. You don't say what you're trying to do when you see this message, but maybe it's what you need.

  I had this same problem, the idea of Bruce Hagen I tried and it didn't work. So I tried to know how to reset a file association using Google and someone, in response to a question, pointed at the Windows registry altogether different, more precisely the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT section.

  So I took the .pdf subkey in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT, make a backup (export) and simply deleted. I then associate a random file of PDF of Adobe Reader again and guess what:
  Now it works again in Windows Live Mail! Yoohoo!
  Looking at the key later, I also saw that the content had changed, for example he says now a Content Type and in the "standard", there is "AcroExch.Document", like some came with 'assoc .pdf' in the command window.
  This makes me guess that Windows 7 is perhaps a bit 'sloppy' when reassociating one type of file, because this happened to me after that I removed an older version of Adobe Reader (Adobe Acrobat Reader 6) and installed the latest version.
  I really hope that this will solve the problems, others here! It really saves me a lot of frustration here! ;)

  This problem may occur if the Outlook registry key is corrupted. When other programs try to use the Simple MAPI Outlook interface, they cannot retrieve the required information from the registry.

  You must first remove the corrupted Outlook registry key, and then perform an operation to detect and repair to ask Outlook to re-create the key. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Click Startand then click run.
  2. In the Open box, type regedit and press ENTER.
  3. In the registry editor, locate the following subkey in the registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Clients\Mail\Microsoft Outlook

  If you access Gmail via your browser, it won't work. The mailto prompt is looking for a default mail client.
   
  The easiest way is to simply start a new message and then attach the file. If you want to try to make Gmail default, that would work, but no guarantee.
