Linksys N900 EA4500 speed problem
Hi guys,.
I recently updated my ISP one up to 55 Mbps service (new modem - cisco DPC3008). I did some speed tests and what goes directly from modem pc my reaced 57.27 speed down and 10.72 upward.
When you browse the EA4500 router I can get 10.50 down and 3.73 upward. I read through a few recent discussions to go to the router configuration and
-Prioritation media-settings-the downstream bandwidth is fixed at 10945 kbit/s.
I tried to change to 55000 since I'm now up to 55 Mbps. In addition to the support WMM is defined on IT. I checked to see if the router is in need of an update of the firmware and the unit shows the firmware is uo to date. As soon as I leave the screen and return only the bandwidth is changed to 10945.
Does anyone have an idea on how to get the router to Max which will result in the modem?
Thank you. Bruno
Thanks to FurryNutz. Problem solved

Once more a question and then I think my router is perfect
I have some IP cameras on my WiFi network.
When I want to see them out I had to do a virtual network on my old router.
When I go to Conectifity > Advanced routing
I see that NAT and RIP
Static routing is not the same as in the old router.
But how I do on this one?
Thanks for the thought.
Hi taxikemperman. I agree with what proposes FurryNutz. You need to forward ports to access the cameras remotely. You can also register for any server domain so that you can easily access the camera outside your network. I would also say that you set a static IP address on each of the wireless camera, so you can correctly determine which cameras, you are trying to access.

Primary WRT1900AC &; comments networks on the same Radio channel
Hi - Newbie here.
The main network and the network of comments on my WRT1900AC occupy the same 2.4 GHz radio channel, regardless of the selection of a channel or using AUTOMATIC channel selection. I want to change this scenario so that the primary network would occupy a channel (say, Ch. 11) and the guest network would occupy a different channel (say, Ch. 1). I fell in my attempts.
Change channel from the main network (for example, Ch. 11-Chapter 6) goes well, as checked the WiFi Analyzer application on a separate shelf. For each network channels remain separated (Pri @ Ch. 6 & Guest @ Ch. 11) for about 2 seconds, then the guest network dutifully follows the Canal of the primary school where the two, then, reside (Pri & comments @ Ch. 6). This second 2 delay leads me to believe that the two networks can be separated with success and coexist on two different channels, but only if the adjustment is made.
I use the latest update of Firmware (Version 1.1.8.161917), and almost everything works perfectly. I haven't checked for a situation similar to the 5 GHz band, but imagine that a cure for 2.4 GHz could be translated to a 5 GHz problem if it exists.
Please do not hesitate to me flood with your knowledge. Thanks in advance.
Did a live chat with an environment of "agent" tonight, and, after some initial stumbles and a bit of the discussion on the issue, the agent said that "it's like that" and that the user doesn't have the ability to change the channel for feedback network. Only I could answer that, unfortunately, Yes, the user makes, but in order to change the channel of Guest network, you had to change the channel of primary network.
So, for now, 'that's it!
Guess I'll have to wait for firmware open stable source to be released so that I can flash and dig a little deeper into the router. Until then, I'll just scratching my head about the counterintuitive to have practice two networks on a radio band occupy the same channel, possibly generating interference of the internetwork.
Thanks FurryNutz for your patience and your help.

Failure of the session! Please log in again
Hello
I get an error "failed Session! Please sign in again"whenever trying to change my router settings. Even when I try to put it on dynamic IP address static IP it says failed session and I am automatically disconnected. To change the settings of the router, I always need to reset, and then use the parameters of desire first installation, after that is not allowing me to modify one of these.
I already tried updating firmware twice but nothing happened.
Router E1200
Model V2.
Any Suggestions or troubleshooting.
Thank you

PC 3 Party security software Configurations
Disable all antivirus programs and firewall on the PC during the test. 3rd party firewalls is not usually necessary when using routers as they are effective on the blocking of malicious incoming traffic.PC Web browser configurations
What browser do you use?
Try Opera or FF? If IE 8, 9, 10 or 11, test value and mode of compatibility again.
Disable any security browser addons such as No Script and Ad-Block or set them to allow all Pages when it is connected to the router.
Clear all caches browser.
Don't forget to log on to the Admin account on the router.
Try disabling these features in Chrome:
Top right corner, few bars options > settings > settings (left) > see the advanced settings.
Uncheck the box for these:
Use a web service to help solve the navigational errors
Use a service forecast for complete searches and URLS typed in the address bar
Predict the actions of the network to improve the performance of page loading
Activate the protection from phishing and malwareI tried all these solutions, but the same problem persists. Nothing else except these?
