[FWGEN] [SQLServer JDBC Driver] Taking setting error. Unknown host

Hi all

I have a problem that I can not understand it. I have a connection to SQL Server successfully.

I created a template, but when I try to take the items through the bone, I get:

ODI - 26174: connection to the base is not available.

java.sql.SQLException: [FMWGEN] [SQLServer JDBC Driver] Error establishing socket. Unknown host: XXXXX

....

It's impossible. To understand what is the problem, I created a procedure using this logic diagram of connections and wrote: select * from dbo. AAAA

Just as I guessed that it returned OK.

As a solution I created the table under the model manually, using this in my interface and successfully obtained the datas in this table.

If you have an idea, why can't I use model while the database server is OK?

I think it comes to jdbc versions are different or anything.

Thank you

Umit

Hello

I found the solution.

It comes to RKM.

  • Informix JDBC Driver error: could not load JDBC driver class

    Hello

    I have problem when I try to install between ODI and IBM Informix database.

    First I just tried to create the new database server in the physical Architecture by choosing "IBM Informix JDBC Driver" but I got the error ' could not load class driver JDBC ".

    After that I tried to download the JDBC drivers on IBM site, put them in ODI_HOME/oracledi/agent/drivers / and follow the instructions in the documentation

    3.1.1 adding additional drivers and tools Open to autonomous Agent and ODI

    Studio

    ODI installation includes a set of DataDirect drivers for the following technologies:

    Oracle, Hypersonic SQL, SQL Server, Sybase ASE and DB2 UDB. If additional drivers

    Open tools are needed, they must be added to the autonomous Agent and ODI

    Studio:

    ¦ On UNIX/Linux operating systems, go to the following directory (not created

    until after ODI Studio is started for the first time):

    $HOME/.odi/oracledi/userlib

    This folder contains the file additional_path.txt which allows to declare

    additional files or folders outside of the /userlib directory where the ODI

    Studio acquires its libraries and drivers. In the additional_path.txt file, add

    the following for the Standalone Agent path:

    ODI_HOME/agent/oracledi/drivers /.

    The error appeared again. Could you please help me?

    Thank you

    The problem is resolved.

    Though according to the documentation, must be the path

    ODI_HOME/agent/oracledi/drivers /.

    at the end of the text file, the comments in the file indicate to

    ODI_HOME/oracledi/agent/drivers / *.jar

    After I successfully connected to the Informix configuration topology and use it as a source for the ODI Interfaces.

    Designated operational entities the above exception occurs when the database is unavailable and weblogic attempts to create the connection to the database using the file descriptors in turn that is causing the files too many error messages.

    Please feel free to correct me.

    Thanmks in advance :)

    It occurs when the database is completely down.
    But it could happen if the database is blocked and you try to create a large number of connections.

    Sudhakar salvation, you must use the exact client version when possible; your JDBC driver problem is not related to the version of the client...

    The customer is not used by the components Web J2EE for example the Foundation Web Services (Shared Services), RA Framework Web (Workspace), EPMA Web, financial reports, Web planning, Web...

    If you use these components, it is used by the part IIS of EPMA, HFM and FDM.

    Your DBA confirm that you use indeed to connect the correct listening port? If the telnet test works you will see it go with a blinking cursor. When it fails, you receive the message: "could not open connection to the host, on port: XXXX...". ».

    I don't know why you encounter the error but I don't know of the following:

    1. this forum is not appropriate for SQL * Developer questions.
    2 or questions on the code from SourceForge
    3 or Microsoft products.

    It seems unlikely that this has nothing to do with Oracle, so I recommend that you find a forum related to the driver if there is. Otherwise, you can try SQL * Developer forum, but I would be it is not more than a dozen others on the product trying to do that.

    There is one thing to go too far. You won't push ever that a lot of data in memory at a time, which seems to happen due to the vector between the two. The amount of objects that must be created would be already staggering.

    Best is to use a result set and browse results instead, treat the rows one at a time, or maybe a batch. Who will use only as much memory as necessary to keep a line / a lot of lines in memory unless the driver not just preloading of magic.

  • java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.mysql.jdbc.Driver

    Hello

    I know it's a very common problem and I've read a bunch of solutions on various forums, but I still can't get mine to work! I hope someone can help?

    I'm relatively new to Java and the learning process. I use JDK1.7.0_09 on a Windows 7 operating system.

    I loaded the file mysql-connector-java - 5.1.22 - bin.jar Mysql down and placed in different directories of different and set the classpath accordingly, but little matter that I always make the same mistake! 4

    Here are the details and settings that I have right now:

    JDK1.7_09 is installed in - c:\program Java and I set the path to:

    c:\Program files\java\jdk1.7.0_09\bin\

    (This seems to work OK, I can compile and run simple programs with no problems)

    The file mysql-connector-java - 5.1.22 - bin.jar sits in many places at the moment which is located in the jdk1.7.0_09\lib\ directory. So I set the CLASSPATH:

    SET CLASSPATH = % CLASSPATH; C:\Program files\java\jdk1.7.0_09\lib\mysql-connector-java-5.1.22-bin.jar

    Here is the file that compiles OK: (just a test downloaded)

    import java.sql. *;
    Javax.sql import. *;

    public class dbdemo {}

    Public Shared Sub main (String [] args)
    {
    Connection Conn = null;

    VR;
    {

    String url = "jdbc:mysql://***.***.**.***/***";
    Class.forName ("com.mysql.jdbc.Driver");
    Conn = DriverManager.getConnection (url, 'root',"" ");
    System.out.println ("connection");
    }
    catch (System.Exception e)
    {
    e.printStackTrace ();

    }
    Finally
    {
    If (conn! = null)
    {
    VR;
    {
    Conn.Close ();
    System.out.println ("Database connection complete");
    }
    catch (System.Exception e) {/ * ignore the narrow errors * /}
    }
    }

    And here's the result (each TIME)!

    You should not put things into the JDK lib directory.

    I would say (just because of simplicities) put the driver jar file in the same directory you are trying to run the code of (which resembles the users / public).
    Try:
    Java - cp. ; MySQL-connector-java - 5.1.22 - bin.jar dbdemo

    This will ensure that the JVM is not pulling in a classpath also.

    Customer tested versions: 12.1.0.1.0, 11.2.0.1.0 (bth client versions raises using the same error)

    Solution: put tools::preferences:database: Advanced: use driver OIC/thickness false

    Is this a bug or a feature? In previous versions (3.xxxx), it worked perfectly, but I found some messages describing this error with the first versions of the adopter of the 3.xxxx.

    Thanks for all the relevant answers :-)

    This is a feature.   The version of the Oracle client must always match the JDBC version using SQL Developer.

    that is if the SQL Developer runs 11.2.0.3 JDBC, then your oracle client must be 11.2.0.3.

    Unfortunately, it is not always clear what version of JDBC SQL Developer is provided with.
