G277HL Acer text looks blurry sometimes?

I recently bought an Acer G277HL monitor.

However, the text seems sometimes blur. It seems to vary, but especially in browsers, steam messages, etc. as well as some games.

I tried to clear Type, and which did not help.

I have solved the problem and found a few useful things.

Turn off the OD of the monitor mode. Gave me the weird contours.

Disable "FXAA - Anti Aliasing" in NVidia Control Panel.

Activate / configure ClearType.

  • My text looks good in dreamweaver, but blurry in the web browser. Help, please

I'm a Web page noob and I am doing this for my sister and I would love to help with that I've got a fact wrong here.

Essentially, the problem is that the text looks good when I design in dreamweaver, but is blurred in browsers (safari, opera). I tried different front styles and sizes, but the text seems still blurry.

I have included a screenshot of dreamweaver CS3, a screenshot of the page in safari and the html file.

If anyone can help I would really appreciate it I want the text look crisp when I publish the site.

    Thank you

I think that it is a case of the Safari text rendering problem. Safari makes light text on dark background look horrible.

If you load your page on a test server for debugging, you can use browsershots to see screenshots of your web page in different browsers and platforms.  My guess is that your page looks probably fine in FF, IE and Chrome.

I had the same problem - could not believe my eyes on how horrible and blurry Flash Builder looked on my new Macbook Pro w retina.  Through she had suffered since last week and have just discovered this work around that someone figured out for Eclipse that also works on Flash Builder (guess b/c it is built on Eclipse).  Here is the link to the bug report that shows the work around (thanks to Brad Hudgeons):

    https://bugs.Eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=382972

Here is a cut and paste from the bug report in the case of the above url is deleted:

Here's the workaround: Do "Show package contents" on the Eclipse.app. Edit Contents/Info.plist. Just above Place this: NSHighResolutionCapable

Instead of Eclipse, display the contents of the package on Adobe Flash Builder 4.6.app.   After you change the Info.plist file, go to the Adobe Flash Builder 4.6.app and reproduce.  It will create an Adobe Flash Builder 4.6 copy.app.  Delete your original Adobe Flash Builder 4.6 and rename the Adobe Flash Builder 4.6 Adobe Flash Builder 4.6.app copy.app.  Then launch Flash Builder - you should see the text which is much clearer.  The graphics on the user interface are still unclear but at least the text should be crispy.

  • Blur or blur text... sometimes

    Hello

We are currently working on an online project, where we have several projects Captivate created by different authors, using the same model.  When one of the authors published its draft, the text does not appear as strong.  Blurred or fuzzy is the best way to describe it.

The strange thing is, if I take the same project file and publish it on my computer, the text seems fine.  It is not a question of quality of the screen, as published by me and other project files give on all computers, and those published by its look blurry or fuzzy on all computers.

We use Captivate 4 and Windows XP, and we publish for Flash 9 with HTML.

    Any thoughts or ideas?

    Thank you

Try to start Firefox in Safe Mode by pressing the SHIFT (Mac: Options) button to see if that helps.

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

    • Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.

You will need to close and restart Firefox after enabling/disabling this setting.

You can check if there is an update for your display driver graphic card and search for hardware acceleration of related issues.

Try to assign layout.css.devPixelsPerPx 1.0 (default is - 1) on the topic: config page.
If necessary adjust the value by 0.1 or 0.05 (1.1 or 0.9) until icons or text looks right.

You can open the topic: config page via the address bar.
You can accept the warning and click on "I'll be careful" to continue.

If you can't do it via Firefox then try to create a user.js file in the Firefox profile folder and put this line in the file.

"AppData" (XP: Application data;) Mac: ~ / library. Linux: ~/.mozilla) is a hidden folder.

Sorry to be slow getting back to you.  Notifications of the Forum do not seem to work for me.

I didn't find anything exactly like your situation, but maybe one of system fonts is damaged.  See if the following can help.

Right-click on an empty area of the desktop and select Properties
In the Properties window, click the tab "appearance".
In the appearance window, click on the button "Advanced".
In the Advanced window go to the menu drop down under ' question: ' and select 'icon '.

The default value must be fonts: Tahoma and size 8.  If those who are not your settings, change to make them so.  If not, try another font.  Not all fonts will allow you to use 8 point type; I wouldn't not much bigger.

If your setting is already at 8 points Tahoma, open a text editor that allows you to specify fonts (e.g. Microsoft Word) and see if the police Tahoma works correctly.

    Malware:

You must have a version recent (2 or 3 year) an application of antivirus with current updates (i.e., not later than yesterday).

Download, install, update and run both of these free applications.
    MalwareBytes Anti-Malware
    SUPERAntiSpyware

You don't need the paid versions that work all the time.  Just make it a practice to update and scan your system on a regular basis.

    1. are you referring to the size of the font for a specific application?

  • Text looks terrible in Acrobat MS Windows 10

I recently installed Creative cloud including Acrobat DC on Windows 10. When I view a PDF file on the screen, the text looks terrible. It is pixelated and one alias. Text seems also thinner than it should be. Meanwhile, the borders are pronounced slightly more than they were in Word. Images don't look like much either. I looked around a framework of anti-aliasing, but cannot locate one. I have attached a picture for comparison. (Not sure if it will let you see full-size however).

    Acrobat.png

So, is it just an easy setting I can fix it, I'm missing? PDF files used to look great in DC on Windows 7. So is this a problem of Windows 10?

    Thank you.

    Hi PaulFAubin,

Could you please open the file > properties > fonts and check to see if the fonts are included.

Open "Edit > Preferences > Page display" and see the text smooth for laptop screens / LCD is selected.

    Kind regards

  • Have 11 items. Do not burn the videos HD on DVD in HD looks blurry. Help

Have 11 items. Do not burn the videos HD on DVD in HD looks blurry. Help

    laboratory TIMC

Thank you for the important troubleshooting information.

You put too much on a single disc DVD spec'd to 4.7 GB / 120 minutes and compromise the quality of the final product NTSC DVD-VIDEO on a DVD disc widescreen by doing this. You should work with a not too much lower than the max 8.00 Mbps throughput. If you want to try to get everything on a single DVD disk and your Player supports DVD disc double layer, then use a DVD disc double layer in burn it to disc. The DVD double layer is spec'd to 8.5 GB / 240 minutes. That might work for you.

Your chances for a better quality product are significantly increased by

    1. divide the project on two discs DVD-R 4.7 GB / 120 minutes

    or

    2 put the project on a DVD-R disc 8.5 GB / 240 minutes.

If you try the project two discs DVD-R 4.7 GB / 120 minutes, consider the following scenario. Take your project current 2 hours and 9 minutes and make a copy of it (first elements Editor File Menu/save a copy). Then the copy to change the contents of the 1/2 and burn the rest with a menu appropriate to disk. With the other copy, modify the content of 1/2 and burn the rest with a menu on the disc.

But I suspect that the of DVD double-layer disc should be your answer if your Player supports. Most should.

If please consider and let me know if you see problems in the proposed plan.

    Thank you.

  • While on mobile sites and can not zoom the text is blurry

on sites that recognize me as a mobile site, or use mobile sites, when I can't zoom in I have no problem with the beta 1 freeze or force close. But the text is vague and will not erase upward. While using the usual browser can't display anything it will freeze.

He also made mobile recovery force closed twice today.

The blurry text could be linked to the freezing problem - looks like text rendering could have locked up before he finished to redraw the text. There are also a few known bugs in Firefox that brings the text to look bad on Android, for example: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=600103

  • Text slightly blurry

    Hi guys.

Cp9 using, is it possible to make the text in absolutely crisp text captions? It seems a little fuzzy at the moment. There may be a setting or something I'm not aware of?

    Thanks in advance

If you publish to SWF or HTML5 format (unfounded) then these legends get turned into PNG files when you publish on.  This text is called static text, because it cannot be changed during execution.

If the text is provided by inserted variables, it is called dynamic text and sometimes that will look a little crisper when running.

One of the "stuff" is NOT to allow your content to be resized by the user during execution.  Thus, you should NOT use the scalable HTML option.  You can also try the quality parameters of slide framework optimized or higher using 24-bit high quality instead of JPG.

At the end of the day, generally should settle for less than perfect.
