  It is not possible to install XP on your laptop.

  There is no sata AHCI driver for XP for models with N pentiumN/celeron processors.  Is there no drivers graphics Intel for Windows XP for this chipset and processor.

  The last specification chipset based Intel XP can be installed on would be one with a processor of 3rd generation with a 7 series Intel chipset.

  Now, if you want to try to add these W7 SATA AHCI drivers I zipped and attached, you can put it on the disk.

  I highly doubt they will work, but I guess you have nothing to lose by trying.

  Even if they do, you will always have the problem of no graphics driver.

  European driver Toshiba page provides all the drivers Win XP!

  The laptop supports an ATI graphics chip and the graphics card driver contains the SATA/AHCI driver as well.

  Then download the graphics of the page of the European driver Toshiba driver.
  In the package, you will find only the exe file run this exe file after the package was extracted, you will have to go to the SBDrv\SATA folder
  You will find the .inf file that is a SATA driver!

  Hi, I need help finding a driver AHCI (Windows XP) to my Elitebook 8570p. I want to use Windows 7 and XP on it, but I can't install windows XP in AHCI mode.   If you want to install the individual driver with the floppy drive then use your up/down arrow keys to scroll through until you find the Intel (r) 7 Series Chipset Family SATA AHCI Controller.

   

  Make sure that you scroll in both directions in the window, because a lot of people complain that they cannot find the driver in the window.  It's here - top or bottom of the initial view.

  AMD is different from that of Intel, a Sata driver is not required to install W7.

  I am currently running windows vista business on my sony vaio cr35g. I have a CD of windows 7 instillation and an image of a restore point that has been placed on an external hard drive. completed ID this restore point, id receive a 'blue screen of death' and the computer turns off.
  No matter what else it may be, I want to spend my SATA AHCI run this image of windows 7 because I know it works in AHCI, but I can't find AHCI or SATA in my bios settings to configure.

  Chipset drivers are not enough.  You will need to check with Sony to see if they provide startup AHCI drivers as the standard Windows 7 install process would have need of these.

  Please make sure that your Win XP disk contains at least SP2 but better would be SP3

  PS: If you use the SATA driver then the SATA mode must be on AHCI

  As far as I know that Vista supports already load the driver from a USB key, you can copy the driver to a USB and then choose the directory of the driver on this USB key. Vista should accept the driver and you are able to install Windows.
