  I have pondered this mystery for years, especially since their the Gaming area 2005 upgrade.

  It seems to me if you are willing to make this kind of improvement to the game Zone, you would find the value in the pursuit of improvements.   I guess that QA must be on the back-end network operations.   I firmly believe that the game of Backgammon (and all games of the game Zone) are what they are and will never change unless they are third-party games that someone other than an employee of Microsoft updates.  PopCap, office, for example, supplies a lot of the games and if they update one, very well.  I doubt that Microsoft will, however.  I love to be wrong, but if the problem has been so long, I don't hold any hope.

  In any case, these forums cannot deal with MSN issues.

• Why microsoft has so many technical problems with the Gaming area?

  The site is down a few times more than 72 hours in a row.  There was opportunities, that the site went down every other day for a week.   The page that opens after the servers have been can be improved.  Error messages its users the impression that this is a technical error with their equipment.  This only promotes the frustrations of users because they spend hours trying to solve a problem that never existed.  Players are NEVER kept in the loop. Updates on Facebook are not and some who are regular users of the game area are forced to explore other sites of games because of that.  Microsoft has the best games around.  It would be a shame if they lose all their followers to a competitor.
