Gap of Eve

I have physical standby and primary database in 11.2.0.2 on linux. This is used for purposes of learning and today I could see that the waking state is saying as "pending gap" but when I query v$ archived_log, I see that the watch is synchronized. I'm a little confused about this.

Primary:

Sys@Prim> select thread #, max(sequence#) in Group v$ archived_log by thread #;

THREAD # MAX(SEQUENCE#)
---------- --------------
1 117

Standby time:

Sys@stndby > select thread #, max(sequence#) in v$ archived_log in case of application = 'YES' group by thread #;

THREAD # MAX(SEQUENCE#)
---------- --------------
1 117

Standby:

Sys@stndby > select process, status, sequence # in v$ managed_standby;

STATUS OF PROCESS SEQUENCE #.
--------- ------------ ----------
CONNECTED ARCH 0
CONNECTED ARCH 0
CONNECTED ARCH 0
CONNECTED ARCH 0
MRP0 WAIT_FOR_GAP 50
RFS IDLE 0
RFS IDLE 0
RFS IDLE 0
RFS IDLE 113

Is there a gap?

OK, as said, 117 sequence seems to be of the previous incarnation.

Your database is currently looking for 50 sequence and a sequence gap 50 to 57.

You have backups of these archives? If so, then restore it from the backup on the primary and the standby will search automatically.

If this is not the case, use the roller before incremental YVERT backup method to get your watch synchronized.

You can return this Roll Forward Physical Standby Database using RMAN incremental backup | Shivananda Rao

  • ARCHIVELOG-gap - and Eve-primary data base: possible alert?

    Hello
like all our databases, we monitor our primary-eve-databases and with GridControl (10.2.0.4.0). What we need would be a metric or policy that creates an alert when a gap due to shipped not archivelogfiles.
Which can be determined by the message "Sequence gap rΘcupΦre in thread 1, sequence gap 14918-14918 ' in the alert.log to standby-database.
Is there a mechanism implemented in the GridControl to check if there is a gap?

Mr (FG) means that the MRP runs first plan and background not.

You would have started the MRP using 'Eve managed recover the basis of alter' which starts in the foreground MRP.

What is the version of database? Why it does not work the last 10 days?

There seems to be a gap that Eve is not able to pick up. Is the available 3366 sequence on primary or has she been saved, so that you can restore it to wait and sign them?

Yes, you can save the newspapers archived on the eve of database, which is copied manually from the primary.
If you want to apply the archived redo logs, then you must start the recovery process - redo apply (MRP).

If you archived redo log in the primary, he's not neccasary primary copy manually.

If you have GAP and archived redo logs have in the primary, then it is enough to launch again apply.
When you start MRP, if you have gap then MRP request archived redo of the FAL Server (primary) and resolve the discrepancy.
It is the resolution of the automatic gap.

    have you started with MRP?

    select process from  v$managed_standby where process like 'MRP%';
    -- if no row selected
    alter database recover managed standby database disconnect from session;
    or
alter database recover managed standby database using current logfile disconnect from session; -- real time apply

    Question2.
We set LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_1 physical standby? AFAIK, archive logs don't get generated in a physical standby
because the standby DBs ORLs are never used.

Value by default is LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_1 - is USE_DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST, that means if you are not ready to LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_1,.
then all archived redo log store in the Flash recovery area.

Archvied redo log isn't genereted database pending, ORL, Srl, if you add standby recovery logs.
When you use protection MAX Performance mode and not added database SRL then sleep by using the BDL.

  • FAL_CLIENT and pick up the gaps

    Hello

In my CARS 10.2.0.4, database under Windows x 64, I turned off sending newspapers and newspapers primer apply pending we needed to do work on the primaries that we did not want to be reflected on hold for awhile. Once we have completed the work, I re-enabled the sending of newspapers on primary journal apply to Eve and Eve read all the archives and became in sync with the primary.

Surprisingly, FAL_CLIENT in my watch is the value of a primaire1 and my all RAC nodes primary, TNS primaire1 entry points to node 1 of the database primary (ideally it should point to instances of database pending).

Now my question is that definitely my FAL_CLIENT pending is set wrongly, but he was able to read newspapers, once I enabled shiping rear journal (on primary) and newspapers apply (standby)

Can someone explain why intelligence extracted from the archives even if FAL_CLIENT is set wrongly?

FAL_CLIENT works only when there is a GAP - for example the sequence archive 102 and 103 have not been received, but all archives after 103 have been received successfully, and now sleep can get 102 and 103 if FAL_CLIENT is set correctly?

PS: FAL_SERVER standby is configured properly and indicates the main bodies.

If Data Guard works normal, synchronization of the primary process and Eve (LNS, RFS) will coordinate in the transmission. FAL_ settings work only when there is real and this GAP that you updated over her okay.

Heartbeat PING [ARC1]: Unable to connect on the eve "testdg. The error is 1033.

I checked the status of the listener, services are running, I was able to connect on the eve of the main database. Could not find the solution.

    Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards

    REDA

I use the alias tns for my settings. I have my old 2 nodes, the following:

    standby1. LOCAL_LISTENER = listener_standby1

    standby2. LOCAL_LISTENER = listener_standby2

I don't have the IP addresses of these parameter values. Here are a few tnsalias. Then in my tnsnames.ora Configuration file, I have these:

    LISTENER_STANDBY1 =

    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = host01-vip)(PORT = 1521))

    LISTENER_STANDBY2 =

    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = host02-vip)(PORT = 1521))

Tnsnames.ora files contain the same information on both nodes, just to make my life simpler.

It's just how I do it. You can certainly use the alternative method too.

    See you soon,.

What name should have the file password on the backup server?

On the primary server and the standby ORACLE_SID = primdb1. The db_unique_name = stbydb1 for sleep and db_unique_name = primdb1 for primary education.

    orapwd file = $ORACLE_HOME/dbs/orapwd.ora password = entries =

For this purpose for the primary, that he would be,

  • Identify gaps in logical Standby

    DB version: 11.2

To identify gaps for physical standby DB, I use the requests mentioned in the post below
StandbyDB is not synchronized with the primary

To check if a logic on standby and primary is in sync, can I use the same query? Do I have to consider other factors for logical standby when checking for gaps?

    Hello;

What part of this huge post! I think not, because this is not a logic of Eve.

On a logical standby database, ask DBA_LOGSTDBY_LOG view on the logical standby database:

    COLUMN FILE_NAME FORMAT a55

    SELECT
      THREAD#, SEQUENCE#, FILE_NAME
    FROM
      DBA_LOGSTDBY_LOG L
    WHERE
      NEXT_CHANGE# NOT IN
        (SELECT FIRST_CHANGE# FROM DBA_LOGSTDBY_LOG WHERE L.THREAD# = THREAD#)  ORDER BY THREAD#, SEQUENCE#;

The document data protection Concepts and Administration Oracle should have a 'Restore the Services of Transport' section on that.

Another, also run on the logic of the previous day:

    SELECT
      SUBSTR(FILE_NAME,1,100) FILE_NAME, SUBSTR(SEQUENCE#,1,10) "SEQ#",
      FIRST_CHANGE#, NEXT_CHANGE#, TO_CHAR(TIMESTAMP, 'HH:MI:SS') TIMESTAMP,
      DICT_BEGIN BEG, DICT_END END, SUBSTR(THREAD#,1,4) "THR#"
    FROM
      DBA_LOGSTDBY_LOG
    ORDER BY

How can I remove the gaps between songs itunes 12.5.1.21

  • How to fill a gap in the UK?

Greetings.  I'm working on a project of Garageband and I was wondering how we can bridge a gap between the two tracks.  I cut a part of the end of a runway and I want to connect it to the next track without changing all its place.  Hope it makes sense.  I could just find an answer to my research.  Thank you very much.

There are different ways to do you project:

Suppose that bar 15-17 is the range that you want to cut (bridge)

    Manually move

Make sure that all parts are cut at bar 17. Now select all regions beyond this 17 bar and drag them to bar 15 as an entire selection

    Markers of the arrangement

A more elegant solution is to the Arrangement of markers (follow ➤ display Arrangement track). However, this technique requires that you know how to use them. In the screenshot, I created a marker of Arrangement (named 'X') for the section I want to cut out (bar 15-17). If I delete this marker of Arrangement (select this Arrangement marker and press the delete key), that 'time' section is cut, which means that all regions after 17 bar are moved two bars to the left (without having to first select regions).

If there is any region at the bar 15-17, while the article is cut first by hitting the delete key, when you hit the delete command. Now you have to hit the delete key again and the "time" will be cut.

    Hope that helps

19/12/14 bug Firefox began to occur:

    • When having only 1 window open and opening tabs behaves normally.
    • However, when you open a new window of the space between the bookmarks (top) and tabs (bottom) spans all windows. Its boring.

So far only challenge is to just close and open 1 single window, or to use the module 'Classic theme restaurateur' and switch the tabs position from the bottom to the top, but all new windows will open the gap again.

    Image below.

Unfortunately, none of these options works, so far, use 'CTR' and turn the legs up (default) allows the opening of new windows without gaps.
Seems to be some sort of bug recently showing on CTR.

You will need to find a way to contact the developer to let them know.

EDIT: It seems to be resolved, seems a new version was released and the problem disappeared. Thank you very much for the help.

  • I want to pause gap between playing consecutive songs in iTunes. How?

An instant reading of the next song is very overwhelming to my ears and mind. I want a break or a gap between two songs as in the old readers of cassettes. How do I get there? any plug-in for itunes? or maybe another player altogether, with the support of remote read iOS.

    any advice?

It is actually not a setting to do this, but you could always put a song 'empty' (a track with no sound) where you want a gap, even though it may take some time depending on the amount of songs you have in your reading list.

You could always crossfade your songs on iTunes (in the Apple menu bar) > Preferences > playback and check "Crossfade Songs.

Then drag the slider to the way well before the end of the song, you want iTunes to crossfade them, and then click OK

    I hope this has helped

I'm not able to remove 1 inch gap, which came just after the installation of google toolbar. After that, I uninstalled Google Toolbar and Firefox respectively and there still, installed Firefox only, but the gap of 1 inch (1 row) remains just below the address bar of the browser. How to remove it?

Have you tried to disable the other addons? (Click Firefox > Addons > Extensions, disable all extensions one by one, but the Google toolbar and restart Firefox)
