gap unwanted in the header

Hello

I have a website at http://www.jonestownstables.com/ which has a gap in the header, and I was not able to close the gap. I have a division of container header with the header and the top of the header and the lower division. I use the upper and lower divisions to put a graph with rounded corners, the header. I can't understand why the above graph has a gap between himself and the header. I want to delete it. Thank you for your time.

Here is my html and css.

  • Gap between the header and spry menu bar (school project)?

    Hello I have a project for school and they want me to a dw premade layout html, with a header image, and a spry menu bar located in the header. Which I did, but there is this small gap between the header image and the spry menu bar and the header that I can't get rid of. There is no additional line break tag or paragraph in there, I have NO idea what is wrong, please help if you know. Thank you.

    Joint below is code html and css. Sorry there all text in dw premade in there too. Basically, I have also attached the css external to the spry menu bar, and the page just in case.

  • Strange gaps in the header and footer

    Im getting gaps in the header and the footer on some of my pages.  Sometimes, the gaps are filled with the background color of the column and other times they are the color of the body that is even stranger.  An example would be http://www.mojogar.com/pcRepair.aspx .  In IE8, I get a gap on the top but not the bottom.  In Firefox3, the gap is on the bottom and not the top.  ???

    / * This hybrid layout tips
    1. from the lateral columns sizing based on the em is based on the user's default font size, you can be sure graphics in the columns accordingly. Built correctly, it is more accessible to those who need larger font sizes, since the width of the columns remains proportionate. If this is not desirable in your design, just change the width of a pixel size and do not forget to change the margins on the div #mainContent accordingly.
    2. given that the sizing of the side columns in this layout are based on the font size of 100% in the body element, if you decrease the overall size of the text by using a font size: 80% on the body element or the #container, do not forget that the column widths will reduce proportionally. You can increase the size of the margins on the side of the #mainContent div, and their widths to compensate for this.
    3. If the sizing of fonts is changed in different quantities on each div instead of on the overall design (ie: #sidebar1 is a font size of 70% and #mainContent has a font size of 85%), this will change proportionally each of the overall size of divs. You can adjust the base on your final sizing of fonts.
    4. the #container div is not necessary for this layout to the width of 100%. You can use to create columns of fake or to limit the width of the layout.
    5. it is not necessary to have the width of 100% on the #container div since, by nature, a div takes up 100% of the available space. Therefore, here, if you want to reduce the size of the global container - leaving perhaps a bit of margin on each side - is already available for adjustment.

    / * Sidebar1″ tips:
    1 be aware that if you set a value for the font size on this div, the width of the div will be adjusted accordingly.
    2. as we work in ems, it is preferable not to use the filling in the sidebar itself. It will be added to the width for browsers compatible standards creating a real unknown width.
    3. the space between the wall of the div and the items it contains can be created by placing a margin left and right on these items as seen in the rule ".thrColHybHdr #sidebar1 p.

    / * margin-right: 0px;
    }
    */
    / * MainContent tips:
    1. If you give this div #mainContent a value of different size of the div # sidebar1″, the margins of the #mainContent div will be based on the font size and the width of the div #sidebar1 depend on the size of the font. You can adjust the values of these divs.
    2. the space between the mainContent and sidebar1″ is created with the left on the mainContent div margin regardless of how content div the sidebar1″ contains, the space of the columns will remain. You can remove the left margin if you want the #mainContent div text to fill the space of #sidebar1 when the content of #sidebar1 is complete.
    3. to avoid falling of float, you may have to test to determine the size of the image/approximate maximum element because this provision is based on the calibration of fonts the user combined with the values that you set. However, if the user has their browser game lower than normal font size, less space will be available in the #mainContent div that you see on the test.
    4. in the Internet Explorer conditional comment below, the zoom property is used to give the mainContent "hasLayout". This avoids several specific IE bugs that may occur.

  • Can I make the heads of uniform sizes with a guide?

    I'm doing the different pictures of my child's head all the same size to print and cut out a banner. Is it possible for me to create a guide to zoom all images so that they are homogenous?

    Work on the heads of their origins?

    A solution would be

    The bridge, go Tools > Photoshop > load files into Photoshop layers.  This will open all the images in a single document.

    Select each layer one at a time, right-click and do in the Smart Objects.  This will allow you to resize layer several times without affecting the quality of the image.

    Start with the smaller face and designate your master, because you don't want n none of the layers

    Add the size of the canvas so all of the cabin of images exist side by side.

    Drag a layer to the far-right, select all layers and with the active move tool choose distribute horizontal centersin the Options bar.  It is simply that you can see all.

    Turn on leaders (Ctrl r) and drag a guide from the rule at the top of the page and past through the eyes of your master layer so.

    Now select the next layer and use the free to resize according to the main layer and move transformation across the gap.

    It's one of those jobs in Photoshop just up there with basket weaving as a company of occupation therapy.  I love doing stuff like that

  • Help at the Gallery screen, completely covering the header

    Hello

    New in Muse and try to give a sense the parameters of.

    For the life of me, I can't understand how to integrate a gallery full screen and have my header show through.  I'm sure this is a simple adjustment that I'm missing.

    Creates a standard header on a master page (menu, image, rectangle, text box box)

    Created an inside page based on this mask (which is in turn based on a controller of footer)

    Widget slideshow fullscreen slipped to an inside page

    When I preview the slideshow, if I maintain full screen setting, it covers my head

    If I drag the slide show on the lower edge of the header, it disables the full-screen layout and a gap appears on the bottom of the slide show outlining the footer and background

    How can I make sure that the slide show retains the attributes full screen while exposing my head?

    Thanks in advance for your help

    In case anyone cares, I understood the question.

    When I created the original master page header, I should have created a new layer so that it contains the header elements for later use on subpages

    Once I created a layer for the header on this master page, I could take him to the top of the slide show full-screen

  • iOS 10 mail for iPad lack up/down arrow in the header

    Put JJust to upgrade to iOS10.0.2 on my iPad. There no message before or after the arrow in the header. How to make a comeback?

    Hey there, oldregistrar!

    Thank you for using communities of support from Apple! It seems that the Mail app on your iPad on iOS 10.0.2 does not display e-mail messages in its entirety. I'll be happy to help you.

    Force an application to close on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch - first of all, use the following instructions to force it to close the app email, and then restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch - never underestimate the power of a good restart.

    If these steps did not help, which is / are providers of email, what other measures have you tried?

    When I send any email it adds the header at the top of the email to transmit information. According to other posts so I put in view. Headers | Normal, that they will not be added. It does not work for me. I tried setting to view | Headers | All and then return to normal. No change. Using Thunderbird version 38.3.0 on Windows 10. I can select and remove the information from the header manually, but it's a pain. The only other option is to send as an attachment that does not add the header information, but prefer not to use this method. Any suggestions? Thank you.

    It's 5 lines. I have a lot of people who want to be part of the sent emails, but complain about the shipping info. The 5 lines personally doesn't bother me. I miss understood believe the news of transfer, 5 lines may be hidden if notice | Headers was set to Normal. I have to select and remove before the transfer or copying some individuals simply not in on emails transferred. Thanks for your help Zenos.

  • Whenever I try to open an e-mail previously sent or received, even if the header is ok, its actual content is replaced by another sender mail, even.

    It seems that the content of some (not all) of my received emails (already checked this as read) is somehow removed and replaced by the contents of the e-mails to another shipper, essentially the same sender. How can I solve this problem and relieve my other email content?

    I've attached a picture that proves my point: although it is obvious that the sender is Ms. Lia Buda and the email is in Romanian (in the header of the mail is written above) content in the preview below pane was "stolen" by an email from another sender, Mr. Precious Ngwu, an affiliate with whom I am in English. Can you help me to restore the right content in the right headers?

    Thank you

    In one of my firefox browser, the header/footer margin setup parameter is inches, I need to change it to milimeter to inches. Your help is appreciated.

    As far as I KNOW Firefox displays the metric or Imperial depending on the type of paper selected for printing. If you are using A4, you should get millimeters/metric.

  • Is there a way to disable the function where firefox opens a new tab when you scroll a click in the header bar?

    Is there a way to disable the function where firefox opens a new tab when you scroll a click in the header bar? This feature in conflict with my program of multiple monitors (display fusion) since this program allows you to change your current active window the monitor 1 monitor 2 and vice versa BY clicking the header of BAR SCROLLING (or whatever you call the highest part of your window). With firefox, I can't easily change my active window between monitors because instead, it opens a new tab.

    If the window is maximized, you can then switch this pref to disable the display of the tabs in the title bar:

    • browser.tabs.drawInTitlebar = false

    You can open the topic: config page via the address bar.
    You can accept the warning and click on "I'll be careful" to continue.

  • How to increase the size of the header bar so that I can view the topic more clearly?

    I can not clearly see and enjoy the themes that I download as the header area is very low. How can I increase my header with objects area less covering the bottom?

    You need to activate the toolbars to make them visible.
    You can have an extra available with the extension toolbar Classic theme restaurateur.

    To see more of the Persona, you can set a minimum height for the navigator - Toolbox with the code in the file userChrome.css or using the Stylish extension.

    Add code to the file userChrome.css below default @namespace.

    @namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* only needed once */

    #navigator-toolbox { min-height:200px !important; box-shadow:ThreeDShadow 0 -1px inset; }

    The file userChrome.css (UI) customization and userContent.css (Web sites) are located in the folder of chrome in the Firefox profile folder.

  • Receive messages, but only shows the header, not opening messages

    Yesterday, all of a sudden, download my emails, but only the header appears. No message. I have the two incoming POP and IMAP, both do the same thing. If I double-click on a message, a new window opens - no message - just the header. If I go on more, then Classic view - then I can see my message. But NOT if I put the classic view for all of the programming. That freeze the program.

    I can click on whatever I want on different messages, but nothing happens to change the header since the first message I tried to display. I can delete messages, but not to open them.

    She also took forever to download an email attachment in IMAP, but not messages from POP.

    Using Windows 7, this happened to the previous version and just upgraded to 38.0.01 to try to fix it. No luck.

    Is it possible to go back to an older version of Thunderbird and have this job?

  • Double click on a message header opens in a tab with totally different return email but the header of an email, the body of the email is empty, how to fix?

    Emails sitting in my Inbox is open a few days normally. Double clicking on it opens a tab that is referring to the clicked e-mail header, but here's a header and a completely different email details and the body of the email is empty. For example by double clicking on an e-mail from results of Tesco in 'Tesco' display in the tab but the header below shows ' of: TalkTalk'

    By clicking on "Options" and selecting "Display remote content" does not solve the problem.

    Incoming emails will open normally when they first arrive.

    This feature seems to apply only to a few emails at first, but it becomes general.

    Uninstall and reinstall Thunderbird (ver 31.6) and the problem persists. OS is Windows 7

    How can I overcome this?

    Make sure that compact you the folders on a regular basis.

    2. At the bottom of the screen, pop open the option ' show/hide toolbars.
    3. Select "Menu Bar".
