• Gateway DX4870-UB318 - new video card

  I have a Gateway DX4870-UB318 computer with Intel integrated graphics.  There is a slot PCIe 3.0.

  I just buy a new PNY GE Force GT video card 2 710-gig.   This card requires only a power supply, I have 300 Watts.

  When I isntall the map, it freezes at the screen to start the BIOS for a few minutes, until he finally arrived with a screen showing the details of the card - just what kind of card it is, memory, etc..  Let it sit longer, does not seem to get further along the boot process.

  If I remove the new card and return to the integrated graphics card, it works again.

  I installed the latest version of the BIOS for this PC on the site of the bridge, hoping that could help or give a few additional options - such as secure boot power off, what could be the cause, based on some of what I read.

  If anyone has this problem, I have now received a response from PNY.  They indicated that I would need a card not in line no UEFI.  Unfortunately, the BIOS on this computer will not support this card.

  They recommended the GT 520.  I don't know, but it is possible, it is the last of the cards that don't require UEFI.

• I'm unable to change the video settings on my TV connected to my computer laptop nv55s Gateway via HDMI.

  I have a laptop Gateway nv55s and I used a Slyvania 32 '' lcd Tv and my secondary monitor via a Hdmi cable.   Where can I get an update for my video card driver?

  My Roxio software gives me problems when burning to a DVD. I get a message that says that I need to improve my video card driver, and once I had a sent error blue screen auto reboot my machine.
