Gateway requirements customize advanced door Type

Hello, I'm in trouble with R-Gateway... first of all I haven't found a Board of R-gateway to post my question, sorry

I started to adopt the "DOORS linking example" as follows:

-added a LabVIEW project as a document with [Covers: DesignReq], PAST.

-Adding attributes to DOORS connecting example Req-tag (which must be used instead of the Type of the object) and Req - No (which should be used instead of ReqID)

Now 3 documents in R-Bridge configuration: DTH of DOORS, DOORS SDS and LabVIEW project

-changed the type object Type SDS = requirement and requirement ID = ReqID Req-flag = "O" with ID = Req - No. requirement, PASSED

-changed the type DRS of object Type = requirement and requirement ID = ReqID Req-flag = "O" with requirement ID = Req - No, FAILURE (DTH requirement status from "covered" to "not covered" Note: the DOORS objects are related with links "refers to")

Try narrowing... pedal return

-changed the type DRS of object Type = obligation to Req-Flag = "O", SUCCESS

-changed the type DRS of requirement ID = ReqID = Req - No ID requirement, FAILURE: coverage lost again.

I can't understand the problem. Hoping there is someone out there who is familiar with the bridge R I look forward to hearing from you soon =)

Thanks in advance

RZM

RZM,

If I understand your message, I think that what you have to do is add an extra attribute to the Req - no requirement and specify its id as the label. Then you can use $l (it's an L) to display the label instead of $i to view the identifier. Please see the screenshot below:

With this configuration, your graphical view will look something like this:

Simply remove the "ID: $i and label:"and all that appears is SRS - x.

  • Programmatic access to project Gateway requirements

    Dear LabVIEW community!

It's a way to access the data in the gateway requirements by programming project, LabVIEW? To get, for example, the ID of the requirements in the proper format (as can be done in the gateway requirements himself--right-click on the obligation and select copy to-> LabVIEW Description reference)?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello

Unfortunately, to access the data of the gateway requirements in LabVIEW is not possible at this time.

    Thank you

  • Relative paths of the gateway requirements

So I am using requirements gateway for a little while now and I are one of several developers to use, or one of the many people now the documents it contains.  We keep the Gateway project control requirements of source code with the documents and the project code in that respect.

We met one of the problems was that this gateway requirements is configured as an absolute path if the path is not under the gateway requirements project path.

Let's say I have a directory like this structure.

    \Requirements Gateway\ Q:\Project\Project [x]

    [X] Q:\Project\Project [x] \Project Documentation\

    Q:\Project\Project [x] Code\ [x] \Project

When you add documents to the gateway requirements project it will add them however travel.  So if another developer gets the source on the V:\ drive control then it can not find documents or code.  We found that you can manually change the path of the documents to have a relative path by editing the .rqtf file manually in a text editor.

Finally the problem.  This solution does not work for code TestStand or paths of LabVIEW code... why?  If I replace "[x] [x] Code\ \Project Q:\Project\Project"with"[, \Project[x] Code\ ' in the .rqtf project file and then open the project, it will say file not found.  The file may have been moved or deleted.  But all the documents that are configured to have relative paths work fine.

Can someone tell me how to get access roads-related work for LabVIEW and TestStand code in Gateway requirements?  Thank you.

    Hooovahh-

It is currently a lack of functionality for our types of TestStand and LabVIEW OR gateway 1.1 requirements. This is something that will probably fix us in the next version or Gateway requirements.

Thank you for that bring to our attention.

  • TestStand and Gateway requirements

    Hello

It is more a question of RG, but there is no RG area to post.

I have a Word Document that defines the requirements for a test sequence.

Needs are covered by the two

    (1) LabVIEW VI

    (2) sequence TestStand.

What I want to do is to see what is my coverage of the coverage of Word Documents.

I noticed that when I added the TestStand sequence for my gateway Req project, all entries in the TS document generates a "derived demand".

Is there a way to turn off?

I want to connect my word document to a place in the test sequence and to say that this is where I cover that is recording data. I don't want to link my TS sequence with a results file.

The annoying bit is when I look at the view analisys even if my Word Document is covered at 100% yet there are a number of requirements derived from the sequence of TS discoveries.

    Thanks for the tips!

    Maciej

    Maciej salvation,

    answer your questions:

    (1) connecting a TestStand sequence to a Word Document causes RG generate the "derivatives"requirement for each of the elements (steps or sequences) TS.»
I would like to cut this robot. I'm not interested in the requirements derived in this scenario.

"You can turn that they derive ar requirements shown by selecting view" derived from the requirements in main menu of th.  This will hide the requirements derived from the view and in reports that you generate.

    (2) Assembly of the desired structure

If you link the arrows of cover in the Middle, you can create a relationship "or", as shown below.  In this case, a requirement is considered covered when it is covered by one of the 2 on the documents.  The configuration that you currently expects that all THE accompanying documents have coverage for each requirement.

For more information, see the topic combining covering links in aid of the gateway requirements for more information.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

  • Using gateway requirements with LabVIEW classes

Does anyone know how to get the gateway requirements NOR read the coverage information of documentation contained in a class of LabVIEW (.lvclass)?

Requirements gateway seems to load the content of the fine documentation of screws, controls, .llb, .lvlib, .lvproj etc., but not .lvclass? My LabVIEW crash out when I try to bridge point requirements to a project with .lvclass files!

If this cannot be done then it is a great way to add coverage of the needs information (you know, the field "covers: ID") in the properties of the class, or something close to class perhaps, this gateway requirements can read?

    Thoric-

I believe that gateway requirements should be able to trace of LabVIEW Classes also covers long classes are added to a LabVIEW project and requirements gateway is configured in order to study the LabVIEW project. Here is a very primitive example that I restored from files in the directories of the prescriptions and example LabVIEW gateway.

    I hope this helps.

  • Gateway requirements referring to the part of Id from step 2

    Hello

    After posting part1

    http://forums.NI.com/T5/NI-TestStand/Requierements-gateway-referencing-to-step-s-ID/TD-p/2271796

I have a few questions on NIRG futher.

The referenceing to NI TestStand works pretty well now, especially if the sequencefile has no appeal in sequence to the other sequencefiles.

If there is one that you will be have undefined requirements of cource. Is not critical, but it seems quite bad in the sight of management if there is something undefined. Each manager will both ask "why?"

If you don't like to explain it, you say the name of the corresponding sequencefile NIRG. Just see the screenshoot.

Now I'm wondering is it possible to exchange a variable from one type to another?

With this feature, I'm able to do a model NIRG, where the user must enter only the files in the project editor and the editor of Type do not care.

    Concerning

    Jürgen

    Hi J_dodek,

Unfortunately, items of a type XML currently supports only plain text or regular expressions.  You cannot use variables or any script for this field.  However, you can get the functionality you're looking for by using a filter.  If you can send a sample project using your custom types, I will consider a possible way to filter cover links that do not target a requirement

  • Need help with the advanced file Type changes

Somehow all my folders of changed files option.  Instead of the folder when you click it, it opens the search.

I know where and what to change, just do not know how.  Under Tools > folder options > file types, I select "files" and click "Advanced".  Of course, it says 'find '.  I click on 'new' under 'action', I type 'open', but what should I put under "Application used to perform action:"?  It won't let me not leave the field empty.  When I looked to see how it was done in 'file', 'edit' is gray.  I tried to look on other computers, but everyone has Vista, Vista doesn't even have a tab "file type" under folder options and I couldn't find it anywhere else.

Even if you don't know the answer, if you could look to see what it says on your computer and let me know.  Like I said could not find on Vista, I am running XP.

Yes, I know that I can do a right click on the folder and open it, and that's what I do.  It really happened to be a pain in the you-know-what.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've reposted under the topic "Pls! I just need someone to look at their own computer! »

If you are interested in the solution is there.

  • Gateway requirements

    Hello

    (More sorry than TS NIRG)

I have a TestStand sequence to all the requirements of a covered high-level document. I have a new requirement which, once added to the upper level (doc wordx), it appears as a requirement not covered in the review of the rule. My problem arises because this new requirement will be covered by a new simple text file, which in turn, is also read by Teststand. When this txt file is linked to the requirement of higher level rule checking shows that requirements are discovered.

I tried again with txt files as the document on the requirements and two covering the txt documents sharing requirements every time that I add two deposit the check to rule shows that requirements are discovered.

Is there away around this effect?

I was able to have the requirement with the stage which loads the txt file, but this is not a satisfactory solution.

    Thanks in advance...

When you connect the additional file, look like a Y in reverse or a V backwards?  There is a circle with a knot when you make the first connection.  Connect the second file to this circle, and it should look like a Y.  This means that if a file covers this requirement, it is respected.  If you have the V shape, this means that the two files must cover the requirement to be met.

  • How can you generate a list of unmet needs in a customized in NO Gateway requirements report?

I am creating a custom report that lists the requirements that are covered (i.e., a traceability matrix) and also a list of unmet needs.  I think I have the first part figured out, but I can't understand how to generate a list of unmet, preferably by document.  I would like to see something like this:

    2 needs not covered

    2.1 documentA

    Covered requirements: 5

    -Req3

    -Req5

    -Req10

    -Req12

    -Req13

Does anyone know how to do this?

Also, is there any documentation on what are the various data elements?  (For example, what is a "requirement of the sheet"?)

    Thank you!

    Tom

    Hi Tom,

I have attached a modified version of the example of Word which comes with requirements 1.1 gateway. In this sample project, I have reproduced the traceability matrix report and a slight modification to only show requirements discovered at the end of the report. Please note that this is not a complete solution, but it should be enough to help you move forward on the right track.

  • Cannot ping the default gateway with Centrino Advanced-N 6235 on XPS 12 but CAN connect to the Internet

I have a XPS 12 with an Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6235 wireless card.  I can't ping the default gateway with the wireless card.  When I use a USB network adapter, I can ping the default gateway for the wired connection.  I can connect to the Internet and the internal network with the wireless card and can ping other computers on the network.  I am trying to run a program to connect wireless to a projector.  I have two different programs for the two different projectors.  I can connect by cable but not wireless.  I think that the problem is anything that does not make me a ping of the default gateway or something on the wireless card.  I have a 10 latitude with a Broadcom wireless card that is connected to the same access point and can ping the default gateway and can connect wirelessly to two projectors.  They all have two windows 8 Pro.

I downloaded the new drivers from Dell, uninstalled, reinstalled, tried to update Windows install the drivers, all with no success. Any ideas?

The solution of the problem by chance.  I was connected to the computer with a different network than what has been used to authenticate user account on the wireless.  When I switched the user account for the user account that was logged on to the computer was the same who authenticate to the wireless, it worked.  Go figure!

  • Customization of spec type is possible?

Between PLM4P customization and extensibility capabilities, I know that he can do much, but it is probably a stretch.

Is it possible to take a type of specification, such as materials and a new "base type" out of it? Where hardware specifications type would remain the same, and the new type derived from spec keep all the features for hardware specifications, but having its own name, icon, etc. ? This would be similar to subclassing of 9 Agile.

If not, is it possible to make Visual changes, based on a value in a specification? For example, if I open a material specifications file with a classification of the CBA, the icon in the header of the object is icon plug normal matter; But if the classification is XYZ, then it would display a different icon in the header of the object.

    Thank you

    Brendon,

This cannot be supported out of the box. However, it can be a fairly simple problem and easy to solve, so I recommend you submit a service request with support. We will assess and target for a future version.

  • Missing Codec required or not file type supported

    First Elements 7.

I try to import a simple sound effect of a *.au file.

Before any not the file, saying: "this file type is not supported, or the required codec is not installed. (see attached screenshot).

What can I do about it?

Remember this audio editor, Audacity, I linked in another thread? It will open. To THE files and then allow you to save (convert) to WAV.

While the PrE can treat a lot of different file formats (and of the CODEC), it can not handle all. Even with the video. I highly recommend that you enter a workflow, where any audio, which is not PCM/WAV, convert to PCM/WAV before importing the file. It's the same thing with video - convert into something that meadow can work easily with.

This method solves a lot of problems and will generally decrease overhead that the program needs to work.

    Hi Al,.

This morning I spent some time in the COM interface (.tbl) which comes with nirg.

After a few tries, I got it running in this way that I liked. Open, Reload and save the project.

It works well. Only at the end, I don't know the right parameter value.

It would be well on future versions there is a description of the short parameter.

  • Requirements Gateway - objects on the front panel

    Hello

I'm about to start using the gateway requirements and I have a few questions to help me go...

    1. If I create a vi on a machine without RG installed and then move it to a machine with the Receiver General installed, will be always recognized tags?

2 - RG recognize the syntax [covers XX] if it's on a façade and not the block diagram?

    Thanks for your help.

    Darren.

    I know a little RG.

    1. Yes.

2 RG will scan the three areas of a VI for references: VI Description, control/indicator Description and diagram commentary (free labels). That's why he won't see a reference on the front panel (for example data text or text of the label or a caption).

  • SQL Developer 3.0 EA 1 Advanced support for the type of data in the unit tests

    Hello

According to SQL Developer 3.0 EA 1 New Feature List (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/sql-developer/rel3-featurelist-ea1-166831.html#ut)
the EA 1 version 3.0 supported advanced data types in the unit tests. This means support the ANYDATA and RECORD types? I installed version 3.0 of EA 1 to CentOS linux, but it seems that those advanced types are not supported yet. When I try to add a unit test for a function that returns the record type, I get quick error: "the return of PL/SQL RECORD type is not supported. Cannot test (function_name) because 1 arguments have not supported for types". Also if I try to unit test procedure which parameter is of type ANYDATA, I get quick error: "the type UNDEFINED P_DATA argument is not supported. Cannot test (procedure_name) because 1 arguments have not supported for types". Are those advanced data types supported in SQL Developer 3.0 FINAL version?

    Thank you

    Hi Mikka,

Only simple PL/SQL records are currently supported i.e. those containing no optional or repeating components and where all components are themselves supported. This restriction is in place, due to the fact that we are using JDBC as a parameter mechanism which does not directly support the passage the PL/SQL record type.

ANYTYPE and ANYDATA are currently not supported because they have a dynamic value type and must be set programmatically. In the future, it would be possible to support these via the dynamic value and and validation features.

This will remain for the final version.

    Kind regards
    Richard
