  Is it possible to run delete statement with sub query that removes millions of records in a table that is not partitioned with parallel option?

  I know that using V$ Lock, it should be possible, however,

  I think that this needs two sessions, that is to say a session should have locked a row and another waiting to acquire the same line.

  I must compose intellegent delete to table with PK - FK constraints (3 tables involved in this relationship), these constraints always without "delete cascade > but it could be fixed as it still in DEV." I'm curious to know how to do, then it will work in the best way.
  I am bit new to Oracle and any option cascade on DELETE is not found, so confused how it works in Oracle, what I need to ALTER first letting fall the constraints and then delete the tables one by one, or...
  I also read that read on www on some problem with < on delete cascade >, while it brings more confusion and attention...
  
  I enjoy info or pointer to any good place to learn or any good sample.
  What is best solution starting with DB at the end DELETE definition.

I would have much preferred that the procedure that removes data from the company mother (you don't have such a procedure, right?) explicitly delete data by children (by calling another procedure in a different package). This makes it much more obvious for prospective developers what is happening, and what makes it much less likely that a deletion will have a perverse effect.

  I have unexpected behavior with the Option "record in the result.

  I have a few steps in the subsequence 'X', this subsequence passes a Boolean parameter. According to the value of the parameter I change the "Recorgind results" Option to report it or not. The thing is that if 'result Recorgind' set at race time I modofy by changing the value of Step.ResultRecordingOption to "Enable" and "Disable", the step is not reported until the same sous-suite 'X' is called for the second time (without changing the parameter passed).

  For example: (Preconditon: result Recorgind Option of all value sous-suite x are defined as Disable)

  I just review the sequence and indeed we´re experience unexpected behavior with the Step.ResultRecordingOption callback. By a reason when you run the callback in the expression before each step section, the statement runs only until the next sequence is called, which is not what we want.

  To avoid this, you can place a statement before each step of the sequence, so you can change the State of the Option "record result" for the sequence running (and it is only the following). You can try something like this

  

  where the expression of the statement will be the recall "RunState.NextStep.ResultRecordingOption is YourCondition". With this, we guarantee that the results of the next step will be saved or not. I also remove the expression in the expression prior to each step section, because the condition is now on the statement before each step.

  I tried and it works fine. I´ll set the sequence that you share with me, with the changes. I hope this will help you and solve your problem.

Right now I can decide if I want to use Skydrive or not, but with Windows 8.1 with Onedrive it automaticlly load my photos and documents with my knowledge and I have to go sreaching to see where they went.   You are not required to update to 8.1, but it is beneficial because it is more stable.  With 8.1, you will be eligible to get the free Windows 10 update when it comes out at the end of the year.

  I'm having a problem to remove a snapshot of console vSphere. I am running with vSphere v5.1.

  I tried to recreate the snapshot and perform the complete withdrawal and its looks the same. I also restarted the Management Agents on ESXi host where the virtual machine was stationed. But the problem remains the same. All thought and helpful is perhaps help to solve this problem for me?

  My backup keep fault because the snapshot may not remove the host.

• Can not power on virtual machines "cannot access the file because it is locked.

  Virtual machines have been working well - then the storage system is down.  After the storage system returns upwards that I can't turn on a number of virtual machines.  Get this error when I try to turn it on:

  Cannot power on vmname on esxhostname.xxxxx.com. Unable to access file < unspecified file name > because it is locked
  error

  1. To check the locks on the Service Console on non ESXi servers, run the command:

     lsof | grep

     COMMAND PID USER FD TYPE SIZE NŒUD NOM_PERIPHERIQUE
     71fd60b6-3631 root 4r REG 0.9 10737418240 23533

     Note: If there is no Console of Service process the locking file, you should receive no printed output. If you receive results, however, file a support request to identify the process and to determine the causes.  If it is a third-party process, however, contact the appropriate provider to determine the cause before you kill the process ID, because it can happen again in the future.

     Stop the process and the lock ID using the kill command. In the example above, the process ID is 3631:

     kill the 3631

     After the termination of the process, you can try to turn on the virtual machine or access the file resource.

  2. To check if the virtual machine is always a world ID assigned, run these commands on all ESX/ESXi hosts:

     CD/tmp
     VM-support - x

     Available to debug worlds:
     WID =

     On the ESX/ESXi host where the virtual machine still works, kill the VM, which releases the lock on the file. To kill the virtual machine, run the command:

     VM-support - X

     Where the is the ID of the world of the virtual machine with the locked file.

     Note: this command takes 5-10 minutes to complete. Answer No to "can I include a screenshot of the virtual machine", and answer Yes to all subsequent questions.

     After the termination of the process, you can turn on the virtual machine or access the file resource.

  Deleting the file .lck (NFS only)

  The virtual machine files can be locked via NFS storage. You can identify this as reported by .lck files. # (where # is the ID of the world that holds the lock file) at the end of the file name. It is a NFS file lock and appears only when you use the ls command as it is the hidden file.
  Beware: they can be removed safely only if the virtual machine is not running.

  Note: VMFS volumes have no .lck files. The locking mechanism for VMFS volumes is managed within VMFS metadata on the volume.

  You must kill the process that is locked, if it is not the case, you probably need to restart the VMware host.
  I tell you from experience most likely end up rebooting it.
