  I am using an update report (form-> tabular). When I add a new line to a new record, I need set automatically one of the fields in the new record to a value of element. I don't want the user of having to hand enter this field (this is a foreign key to a related table iD). How can I set the value of this field in the new row when I click on the "add a line"?

  Hi people,
  
  I have a simple form on a table. A column, CUST_ID, must be filled when I create a branch to this form. So I change the element, set the source to 'Element (Application or page item name)' and then add the name of the source element. It works fine, the correct CUST_ID is entered in the CUST_ID field as expected. But when I add data to other fields and apply the changes, all data is saved on the line, except the CUST_ID. Am I missing simething simple here?

  Return to the database and do not forget to enter the name of the field to the source value and specify the source used only when current value is Null to avoid that it be replaced by DML research.

  By default, enter PL/SQL Expression as type and: Field_Name (you load with). or you can also enter static text such as type and use & Field_Name. format instead, I think. Include the. After Field_Name.

  Sandip,

  In the property Palette, set the initial value property as * $$DATE$ $*. So, it will return the current date.

• Output 15, generator expressions for custom fields?

  I am currently creating a customer with Siebel CRM On Demand. The customer is envisioning followed quantity sold every month and would like specific unit. Ideally, I would like to implement the custom fields for units and another for the recipes. In our demo account, I am able to create custom fields and assign a field type and create a function in the default domain.
  
  However, I noticed in the Siebel CRM client version there is NOT the same features to create mathematical expressions for a custom field? Nobody knows what happened to this feature? Is there a way to bypass? I need people ideas!

• Using a value of form field to add it to a group of Contact treatment step

  Hey guys,.

  I followed the instructions on the post of Heather trigger several actions with an email clicks (via 'send blind form') and everything works great except for one thing. One of my processing steps must be added to the Contact Group, and I want to use a form as the value for this field. I have a created contact group called testContactGroup and I get this exact text as the value field in the query instructions string, but unfortunately, no matter how I try, this step gets ignored. The only time it running is if I use a coded value in hard, constant. Here's the URL that I use:

  As I said, everything else works. I have set up processing steps for updating the registration of contact and then redirect the user to a URL - while using the values of form sent to the query string field. Only adding to the Contact Group does not work. I can only imagine that it's looking for something other than the name of the contact group. I'm not sure.

  The cool thing about Heather here process is that you can use this a blind form to treat a great many different campaigns, but if I hardcode the Contact Group in the area add to the stage of processing of Contact Group, re-use of this form goes out the window.

  Has anyone met cela and if yes, do you have a solution?

  I met the same problem with the stage of email send where the e-mail name in a form never worked field.

  I used the ID of EmailDefinition, in the same way in your case, you will need to enter the ID of the Contact Group. To get the take ID your mouse on the name of the Contact Group when displayed in the recent items, you will see a code js appearing at the bottom of the left panel. Its just there. ContactGroup_Details ().

  I need to pass a value from one page to another page and I want to use this key as DEFAULT VALUE for a field.

  If I create a form tabular all it's ok, but if I create a normal page. I am not able to do that.

  1. 1. I call the page and I pass the value. I also have a FIELD of VIEW and I can see the correct value.
  2. 2. I create a field with attributes of this:
     1. a. source > Source = database column type
     2. b. sources > Source value or expression = FK_ID_DA (the column name)
     3. c. default > default = P27_PK_ID_DA (the field that contains the value)
  3. 3. on the screen, I see P27_PK_ID_DA and not the value

  Where is the error?

  It is not possible in a very obvious way, not to mention that it is a rather strange request.  I can't really imagine a realistic use for this case.

  Anyway, without a messy customization, you should provide a default query with an FTX inside element text setting (i.e. "IdcService = GET_DOC_PAGE & Action = GetTemplatePage & Page = STANDARD_QUERY_PAGE & QueryText =Hello World" "")

  To do this in a profile in the secondary effects of the profile section, add the following:

  I'm still a little new to this, through forums, that I managed to learn a lot of things. But I met another difficulty. I have

  I created a form in LiveCycle with two pages. On page 1, the fees are calculated by multiplying Field1 * Field2 and by adding the value of another. I managed to accomplish this with the following code:

  This.rawValue = Field3.rawValue + (Field1.rawValue * Field2.rawValue)

  As I said, that seems to work.

  To Page 2, I have a drop down list with five options. In the object > value tab I checked specify point values but has not changed a thing. If the value of the option range from 1 to 5.

  When option 5 is selected I want to set a value for a field that is Page 1. I tried with the following script:

  If (this.rawValue = 5) {}

  Page1.positionedSubform.field3.rawValue = 149;

  } else {}

  Page1.positionedSubform. Field3.rawValue = 0;

  }

  I'm now writer at all, but it seems to work somehow. Not that I want to :-).

  When I saw the PDF that it auto sets the value of Field3 and the drop to 149 field.

  I want to first Field3 on page 1 to 0 by default (entered in the object > field value tab 3) and set it to 149 if you have selected the option with the value of 5 in the drop down list on page 2.

  Any ideas?

  If the field is mapped to an attribute of the VO, you can get the value of the attribute of the underlying View object.

  I have a few questions, I am trying to solve and do not know how to proceed. I need the button submit to retrieve a value for a field that the user has filled in and I need to provide an email address.

  I need to provide the text of the subject line of the message and add a value in a field that the user fills out.

  I had these two elements to work based on scripts, I got on the Forum.

  But I also need half superior (or the first page) of the form to send in a pdf file and the second half (or second page) to be an interactive form and a submit button that works similarly to the first Submit button.

  How can I accomplish this? Apparently, I'm still not able to attach a copy of the form.

  I would recommend a sample of Paul Guerette 'LockAllFields '. You can use this to lock all fields on page 1, before that the PDF file is saved and sent by e-mail. This will leave the objects on page 2 that interactive / "fillable inable".

  I think Paul sample going on 'form1' in the function. You need to change 'page 1' so that it blocks only the objects on this page.

  You won't be able to the PDF form is separated in two.

  I have a control unit with a radio under a radio RG_ACTION group button, a text element called "Comments" and a view comments"" button.
  
  I have another block of data base with fileds - approver, comments, date
  
  now that the record is currently selected in the block of data, that "View comment" button on its click event displays that the value in the deposited the database block comment in the text box control block comments.
  and I'm a go_item ("control_block.comments");
  
  until all of this is fine.
  Now when I click on database block to select a record I get a message saying: -.
  
  FRM-40212: invalid value for RG_ACTION field
  
  Once this message is still other things do not work as expected... as some buttons do not work, etc.
  
  I tried to debug a lot, but I could not find. Also google a lot but could not get relevant help.
