• I have problems with the installer of Windows and Windows Update, and the solutions that I found for the two each rely on the other broken system to fix the first.

  ·         What is the disk you use to reinstall?

  ·         Is this a recovery or reinstalling the disc you are using?

  ·         When exactly do you get this error message?

  ·         What is the edition of Windows Vista, you try to install?

  ·         How old is the drive that you are using?

  ·         How are you starting the installation process?

  After researching the error 0x8007000D code is essentially due to file corruption and a problem with the drive itself.

  First check if you have scratches or dust on the disc and clean the surface and try again.

  To check if the disk is wrong, you will need to copy the contents of the DVD to the hard drive and try to install using that.

  To perform a flat installation of Windows Vista, follow these steps.

  Note The hard disk must have at least 3 GB of free space on the disk for the Windows Vista installation files. The hard disk must have at least 15 GB of additional disk space to install Windows Vista.   Is it possible to flag and chronologically order downloads for installation on Windows 7?

  What I want to do, is to see clearly what downloads are on my computer that must always be installed.

  Thank you for all the answers. Finally managed to get installed it. Download 4 times. Whenever he stopped at different percentages, so I expected the download is corrupt.   Please contact Microsoft Community.

  If a device is not compatible with Windows 8, you can try to remove the device and then proceed with the installation. You will not be able to install the unit on the computer after the installation of Windows 8.

  I suggest you to disconnect all external devices except the monitor, keyboard and mouse and check if the problem persists.

  Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

  At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

  Update for Windows Vista x 64 to Windows 7 x 64 caused the following errors:

  125 KB is obviously not a ServicePack because this would be much MB in size, you have a number of KB (knowledge base) to go with the annoying update?

  Try running ChkDsk to check your drive for errors. Right click on your drive icon / properties / tools / error checking.  Try first by checking do not each box (that it will run in read-only mode) to see if it reports any problems file or hard drive.  If so, restart it by checking both boxes and restart to allow him to attempt to fix any problems found.
