  • This application has not been installed 0x80073cf9 error

I have the same problem. I can not install any app on the Store, still have the same error: «this application has not been installed...» ", and then point to the error code"0x80073cf9 ". I'd appreciate any help.

    Hello

Look if the 'AUInstallAgent' file is missing from the windows folder. If this is the case, you will need to create a new folder, rename it to "AUInstallAgent" and restart your pc.

Thank you post from BJArmstrong on October 22, 2013

I wanted just to update this option to add that I had the same problem in Windows 8.1 and the solution was to create the 'C:\Windows\AppReadiness' directory which apparently replaces the directory 'AUInstallAgent' of Windows 8.

Why the Bank cannot simply create the directory if it lacks a true mystery...

    Hi Akash,

I understand how frustrating it can be when things do not work as expected.

    1. do you get an error with the error code?

2 did you follow troubleshooting procedures to resolve this issue?

3 are you facing this problem with all the apps that you are trying to install?

You might face this problem if the Windows store cache is damaged.

Kindly, follow these methods and check if that helps.

    Method 1:

Enter in the right edge of the screen and then click on Search.
(If you use a mouse, point to the lower right of the screen, move the mouse to the top and then click Find.)

Enter to execute it in the search box, and then tap or click run.

Wsreset.exe enter the command run and then press or click OK.

    Method 2:

Also run the Troubleshooter of Apps. This tool can automatically identify and fix problems with applications and store.

    Method 3:
We will also try to rename the software distribution folder and check the issue.
    a. press the Windows key + X together, and then click prompt (Admin).
    b. type net stop wuauserv , and then press ENTER.
    c. type softwaredistribution.old c:\windows\SoftwareDistribution to rename and press ENTER.
    d. type net start wuauserv , and then press ENTER.

Now, try to download apps in Store.

Let us know if it helps. If the problem persists, we will be happy to help you.
