  Quite simply, I get an error message indicating that Windows Media Center will not open. I tried the following: a system restore to a date where library worked with no success. I have run the System File Checker (sfc/runnow} wich ligate without flaws. Finally, I deleted the file mediacenterdatastore which has also no effect. The last thing I want to do is reinstall my operating system, once again, so has anyone out there have any more ways to fix this error... Help!   As it is a public forum, I recommend you to please remove the serial number of this post.

  Now, talking about the error message you get, it simply means that you need to enter the serial number for Acrobat 9 you had previously installed - which is the product.

  Specific advice Apple seem to be uninstall QuickTime, it should no longer be necessary and has a few potential security vulnerabilities. See Uninstall QuickTime 7 for Windows - Apple Support.

  Do you get this error only when you try to download only this particular game or something else?

  From now on, I would say lets you do a [SFC] System File Checker scan on the computer. He will try to repair the system files missing or infected.

  Scan SFC enforcement procedure:

  1. click on the Start button

  2. on the Start Menu, click all programs followed by accessories

  3. in the menu accessories, right-click on command line option

  4. in the drop-down menu that appears, click the "Run as Administrator" option

  5. If you have the User Account Control (UAC) enabled, you will be asked permission before the opening of the command line. You simply press the button continue if you are the administrator or insert password etc.

  6. in the command prompt window, type: sfc/scannow then press enter

  7. a message is displayed to indicate that "the analysis of the system will start.

  8. be patient because the analysis may take some time

  9. If all files must be replaced, SFC will replace them. You may be asked to insert your DVD of Windows Vista/Windows 7 for this process to continue

  10. If all goes although you should, after the analysis, see the following message "Windows resource protection not found any breach of integrity.

  11. once the scan is finished, close the command prompt window, restart the computer and check.

  I recommend you perform the clean boot.
   
  Configuration of your system in a clean boot state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and reinstall the program.

  This was the solution!  The works of vpn as $ 1 million now.  I followed the instructions above to enter the uninstall program and selecting the repair option.  I rebooted the machine, then used the troubleshooting on vpn software compatibility option.  Selected Windows windows xp (service pack 2) as the correct software and cisco vpn client started right up.
