  I need to get surveys using surveys Manager DataControl a space specific webcenter. I did not find any function under the control of data for surveys Manager for passing the scopeId as argument parameter.

  According to the documentation.

  There is no scope ID to filter the polls based on spaces.

  But in any case, to achieve your desired goal, I would say that...

  Create surveys Mutiple (surveys) and on each Survey (Polls) you can have questions to take the poll.

  Thus,.

  Space 1-> 1-> Question 1 survey

  Space2-> eurobarometre2-> issue 1

  Space3-> poll3-> Question 1.

  All by posting the question you can use take survey taskflow or datacontrol where you will need to provide a SURVEY_ID in the pollId parameter.

• I can create forms in the designer, but when I use a data model, I can't interact with the form

  In LiveCycle Designer ES2 I can create a form and then preview and interact with the form.

  This guess I just build objects by dragging the pieces pre-made object on the form (for example, text field) - which I can name, wrap in subforms something - I can add actions and all is well.  When I preview the PDF, I can enter data in the fields, click on the radio buttons, making things appear that everything is great.

  But LC ES2 is based on the data driven development model by, so in my case I need a form guide as well as the form - so it's better to have a model of data created in the first place - and then create the form based on the data model - then build guide form based on the data model - it is also a good idea, and I'm cool with that.

  My problem is that when I'm building a data model (just for a quick and dirty development demo, not associated with services back-end or databases) and I create the form based on the data model - I can't interact with all objects in the preview pane form - further when I launch the workspace and call my process that contains the form - I even can't interact with the form.

  What I am doing wrong?

  Summons - I can create a form and interact with it - but If I start with a data model and generate the form based on that - I can't interact with the form (option buttons click-I can not enter data in form fields - etc) what causes this?  What should I do to use a data model and be able to create an interactive form? >

  You do not hurt anuthing. It works as advertised. When you generate a Guide and work with a fml data model designer you will only create a static non-fillable PDF file. This is because when you import the model in the designer of the model must be turned in a schema. The schema may not represent constraints and validations can be encoded in the model. The only thing that can be maintained is the structure, so Designer forbids you to buidl an interactive form.

  If you know what you're doing, you could take the data it is generated from the Guide and merge on a XDP template file that you create (unless he models in a first time - you can use the sample XML data as a starting point) using LC forms. Edowmside, is that if there are constraints and rules you would have to code them in the model as well. That's the way it is now there, but it will improve over time, as more of the ability of the model is exposed to the XFA world.

  I have hunted and just can not find this solution.  Sorry to ask what is probably a simple question for many on this forum.  I have a 8-page document that the end-user must enter their name and some demographic info on the cover page.  I then use this data in the following pages in the header or footer.  Any ideas where can I go to get this answer?  I have about run the length of my short attention span and of patience.  Thank you.

  I'm getting APEX for the first time and I just read 2 days dev Application Express guide

  I tried to play and I can't create a report with the form that select data from several tables

  What I want to achieve is a report we'll say 'USERS' makes MANAGER_ID ID, NAME, with a form that allows me to create, delete, change users

  The problem is that, once the report with the form created, if I click on create (to create a user) it will ask me for id, name, and manager_id

  I need a water drop down which allows me to select managers in the table manager instead of manually insert Director id

  How do I do that?

  I have a question of logic:

  I was trying to create a form to upload data to mysql with a download of optional file (for a photo).

  The logic that I'm struggling with is that I can not understand how to deal with a failed validation. I can upload a photo to mysql with data (personal information) if the validation is ok. This part works fine. What does not work is I can't wrap my head around how code if lets say that the image is too big or bad format.  As I am I eventually save personal info and set a warning message that tells the user that there was a problem loading the file.  Let's say that the user wants to try again with the right type of file this time. the form won't let him try again because it would create a duplicate of the same user.  Should I code another query below my code that find the tis user and update the image instead? What is the best logic to process the download errors during the data already stored on mysql?

  I use the following to get rid of the spaces and symbols from the file names:

  I also use strtolower() change all characters to lowercase.

  My actual code would not help you because I use a PHP class to handle downloads.

  If your form processing is on the same page as the form (usually it would be at the top), what you can do is, after the insertion of the record, have the database to return the new identification number. Something like:

  Then you may have a hidden field in your form for the employee id:

  I have a set of paintings of master detail based on a single data source (Session Bean encapsulating a web service call). The high-level table (t1) shows data of opportunity, as the low level (t2) poster contacts for a special occasion. When the opportunity is selected in t1, the contacts associated with this opportunity appear in t2. These tables of work as you wish.
  
  I have a read only form (form of the Panel layout) based on a different data control (supported by a Session Bean that calls a LinkedIn API and a table of database using EJB3 entities). LinkedIn Session Bean method takes a parameter which I get from the current row in t2. (#{bindings.relatedContact.currentRow.dataProvider.id}) I put the PartialTriggers as 't2' on the form.
  
  When the page is loaded for the first time, the first line (line A) from table t2 is selected and the display shows the data associated with this line. If I select another line (line B), the Session Bean is called with the value of the id of the newly selected row, but the display will show the associated data from line A. Thereafter, whenever I select a row in t2, bean is called with the new value, but the form displays the data from the selected line previously.
  
  I guess what happens is that the form is refreshed (using stale data in the data control), and then the call to the session bean is made. I checked using thread and print statements. Sleep() in the bean.
  
  Is this a correct behavior and how can I make sure that the call to the bean occurs before the form is updated?
  
  I use JDeveloper version 11.1.2.2.0

  as answered on StackOverflow, the trick is to set the refresh option on the iterator (s) to the second access WS (table 2) of PageDef on ifNeeded. The default setting is delayed, which in your case is not optimal because refresh occurs during rendering response, which is too late for the access of WS. Try "ifNeeded.

• v4.02, in form of table, data are intermittent, when too old error selected sort

  I have a tabular presentation that correctly displays validation errors and highlight values to correct until a column is selected for sorting by the user. Then when changes made, the region of report does not display the line to operate. On the other hand, the region displays this error in a table box that says:
  
  The current data in a table are too old; the source data has changed.
  Click here to ignore your changes and reload the data from the database.
  
  I can choose another column for sort or go on another set of results, make changes to the validation fails and do the lines with errors, stressed once again. I have reproduced this issue for consideration.

  I built this tabular form using the wizard page. Initially all columns were selected for display and editing. Using the attributes of the State page, I reorganized the display and off display for some of these columns. Change the date posted to invalid values to get validation errors.
  
  I don't see any error or the reason for this message is displayed in the debugger. The debugger does not indicate that it is still made this error box. There is another page in this app on the same table where never happens, the message too old. Where can I find or resolve the differences between these two pages?

  It has validation controls - try entering the text in one of the numeric fields.

  However, I get the error you get if a column is sorted:

  Current tabular form data is too old; the source data has been modified.
  Click here to discard your changes and reload the data from the database.
  

  I think this should be listed as a bug
